Consumer Complaint: Wells Fargo has closed and frozen all funds in my new personal and business accounts due to suspicious transactions reported to them by my internet bank XXXX. Im seeking the return of approximately XXXX funds held in total by Wells Fargo. I opened a new account at XXXX from my bank in XXXX via a bank transfer. I was closing my long term account at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX since I had recently relocated to XXXX XXXX and I was attracted by XXXX convenient high interest rate checking account. I planned to use the XXXX checking account to gain a higher interest rate and also to fund two new accounts ( business and personal ) that I opened close to home at Wells Fargo in XXXX XXXX XXXX. I needed a local Wells Fargo for daily banking. I followed all of XXXX rules to make that initial transfer to them to open the new account. The transfer went as planned. It was about XXXX. Once the funds arrived at XXXX, I made two transfers from XXXX to my personal and a business account at Wells Fargo following all XXXX and Wells Fargo guidelines. Both transfer fees were for XXXX to open and Fund my new Wells Fargo personal and business accounts. Both transfer went through as requested. I then received an email from XXXX that my remaining funds there were frozen due to suspicious transaction activity? I immediately called XXXX. I completed XXXX identity verification process. XXXX wasted to colllete a teleconference with my XXXX bank to certify that XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( in business for decades ) was a legitimate banking institution and that funds were available in my account prior to transfer. XXXX was satisfied after the teleconference that the bank transfer was legitimate and my account at XXXX was immediately reinstated and all remaining funds were unfrozen and my account is currently in good standing. I made an additional deposit into my XXXX account and authorized an additional transfer into my business account at Wells Fargo. All went well and I assumed all was now resolved. It was from XXXX perspective. Evidently, during this verification process, XXXX had informed Wells Fargo of their investigation. A week later I received a letter from Wells Fargo that they intended to close both of my newly funded accounts due to XXXX ( now resolved ) investigation into the suspicious transactions. Wells Fargo froze and currently maintains control of approximately XXXX of my assets my personal and business accounts at Wells Fargo. Since then, I have spent over 40 hours on the telephone with both XXXX and XXXX XXXX fraud departments to try and clear up matters and to retrieve my XXXX from Wells Fargo. Both have launched further 10 day investigations of this matter to no resolution. Every other week I get a letter from Wells Fargo of additional two week extensions to keeping all funds frozen at Wells Fargo due to possibility that XXXX may want to claw back all funds transferred to Wells Fargo. Since XXXX had resolved their suspicious transaction investigation, they continue to inform Wells Fargo that the matter is resolved and that they have no intention of asking Wells Fargo for a return of any legal bank transfers that were instigated by me. That consists of two transfers in total, XXXX to my personal account account and two XXXX trans fees to my business account at Wells Fargo. XXXX chronically apologizes to me for lighting this fire and Wells Fargo refuses to return my funds or allow access to my accounts. My latest letter from Wells Fargo now has an investigation hold on all of my funds to XX/XX/2023. Now XXXX hearing from Wells Fargo that their investigation is complete but they have no date or intention to ever return my funds and it appears they are converting my funds to XXXX XXXX ownership. I have never been in such an unfair and powerless situation. XXXX a XXXX XXXX XXXX retired psychologist with a credit rating of XXXX. Ive never been treated in such a fashion and B its the holidays are here and I have bills! Ive has to sell other assets to open other new accounts at another bank, XXXX not receiving any interest on my held funds and XXXX scared!! I fear I will never have my funds returned. Can anyone help? I opened my accounts at Wells Fargo in good faith and I followed all guidelines to make these transfers, XXXX acknowledges this, Wells Fargo realizes this, their representatives continue to apologize as well. but Wells Fargo evidently plans to keep my XXXX with no date of release. Thank you for any help!

SO WHEN WE GO BACK AND LOOK AT THE AGE OF THESE ACCOUNTS, JUST KNOW ON EACH ONE I HAVE FOUND OUT ABOUT THEM A YEAR OR LESS, MOST LIKELY.INTEGRETY AND CREDIBILITY, LETS SEE THE THREE MAJOR THORS HAS BEEN WELLS FARGO, XXXX XXXX, AND THIS XXXX XXXX BUT ITS ALSO MORE BUT THESE GUYS HAVE BEEN FINED BY THE FTC FOR STEALING ( ACTUALLY TRUE IDENTITY THIEVES THATS HOLDING MY GOOD NAME AND CREDIT UNDER A HOSTILE BLOCK FROM RECIEVING PRIME CREDIT, BECAUSE MORE MONEY CAN BE MADE WITH ME UNDER SUBPRIME CREDIT. NOW LETS JUDGE ME. BESIDES OF THE FRAUDULENT ACCOUNTS THAT IM CLAIMING, MY CREDIT REPORTS ARE ALMOST CLEAN AS A WHISTLE. I HAVE A ERROR WITH A CREDITOR ON A LATE BUT 34 POSITIVE ACCOUNTS THAT ARE OPEN AS WE SPEAK AND CLOSE TO 20 CLOSED POSITIVE ACCOUNTS THAT ARE IN GOOD STANDING. SO ITS ME CREDIT ON EVERY CATERGORY OF THE FICO FIVE SELECTIONS GOES FROM GOOD TO EXCEPTIONAL AND WELLS FARGO, TWO TIMES IN THREE YEARS GOT FINE BY THE FTC AND CFPB FOR STEALING AND DOING IDENITY THEFT BY OPENING FRAUD ACCOUNTS IN PEOPLE NAMES. SO I DISPUTED IN XXXX, XXXX, I WAS SO BUSY WITH WORK I TOOK OF BREAK OF FIGHTING FOR MY NAME IN XXXX. I STARTED BACK IN XXXX OF XXXX, I ALSO FILE 8 COMPLAINTS WITH THE FTC LETTING THEM KNOW THAT THEY HAVE NOT SENT ME MY DISCLOSURES THAT I HAVE A RIGHT TOO AS A FRAUD VICTIM. I REQUESTED THE CREDIT BUREAUS AND WELLS FARGO TO VERIFY AND VALIDATE THAT MY CREDIT REPORT WAS ACCURATE AS CAN BE UNDER MAXIMUM ACCURACY PER THE FAIR CREDIT REPORTING ACT AND THE FACT ACT. THEY HAVE DONE NIETHER AND WONT DO NEITHER. ON THE LAST COMPLAINT WITH THE CFPB I SHOW THEM NOT ONLY THE INCOMPLETE CREDIT ERRORS THAT WAS ON MY CREDIT REPORT BUT I SHOW THEM HOW THEY HAD ME LOSING POINTS TWICE, I CANT SAY, ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS LOOK, BECAUSE THATS MY CIVIL SUIT BIGGEST ADVANTAGE IF I TAKE THEM TO COURT AND IT LOOKS LIKE I WILL BE TAKING THEM TO COURT. LASTLY THESE COMPANIES KEEP SAYING I MADE PAYMENTS AS IF A PERSON THAT COMMITTS FRAUD CANT GO AND MAKE PAYMENTS, IF YOU HAVE PRIME CREDIT, YOU KNOW A FRAUDSTER IS NOT GON NA BLOW YOUR CREDIT ON 1 ACCOUNT, THEY GON NA TRY TO GET AS MANY AS THEY CAN UNTIL ITS TOO LATE. AND THESE SAME COMPANIES KEPT PUTTING INTERNAL BLOCKS ON MY CREDIT REPORTS ACCORDING TO THE CREDIT BUREAUS SO WHEN NEW ACCOUNTS WAS COMING, I WOULDNT FIND OUT ANYWAY AND IF I THINK I HAVE GOOD CREDIT, I NOT LOOKING AT MY CREDIT REPORT EVERY MONTH.I WILL BE FILING COMPLAINTS WITH 4 TEXAS COMPANIES THAT ENFORCES BANKS AND CREDIT BUREAUS AND XXXX FEDERAL, US POSTAL INSPECTORS, FTC, CFPB, XXXX AND MORE. ITS SAD THAT THIS COMPANY HAVE NOT ONLY SAY OH THEY KNOW ITS ME, BECAUSE I GUESS THEY HAVE XXXX POWERS, ALL KNOWING, BUT THEY NEVER TRY TO NEGOIATE OR ANYTHING.I LOST MY BUSINES AND ALMOST A XXXX XXXX DOLLAR LOAN FROM THE XXXX DURING THE PANDEMIC BECAUSE OF THEM, AND A LOT MORE. Consumer Complaint: Complaint Regarding Unreasonable Conduct by Wells Fargo Bank Dear CFPB, I am writing to file a complaint against Wells Fargo Bank for their rude and unjust cancellation of my payment options for my XXXX XXXX XXXX account, citing malicious competition. Previously, Wells Fargo terminated the linking of my account with XXXX XXXX, claiming insufficient funds due to a single " failed '' payment. However, I have provided evidence demonstrating that I had ample funds to cover that transaction. Subsequently, the payment option for XXXX XXXX disappeared from my account. Despite numerous attempts to reestablish the payment link through contacting the bank, I have been unsuccessful. Today, during another attempt to resolve the issue, I was once again met with unprofessional and inadequate service, leaving the matter unresolved. It appears that this action by Wells Fargo may be either a malicious retaliation against my previous complaint or an attempt to undermine the operations of other banks through unfair competition. Consumer Complaint: Wells Fargo is yet again screwing over its customers. I reached out to Wells Fargo about a questionable transaction for {$39.00} tonight, Saturday, XXXX XXXX, XXXX only to be placed on hold for more than 20 minutes. The bank tells customers to contact them immediately when something like this happens, but then fails to provide customer service when you reach out. This is just par for the course for the most morally corrupt company in the XXXX. The bank will not give out local branch numbers, instead you must talk to a customer service member who doesn't know the answer to the simplest questions. The bank tells are also next to useless when you go visit, and the managers are always not available ( The one on XXXX XXXX in XXXX, XXXX ) The bank is always slow to credit deposits and never responses to email correspondence. I use this bank because I travel a lot for my job and need a bank with locations in most states. Why doesn't the XXXX actually do something about this horrible, horrible bank more than issuing press releases stating it fined Wells Fargo fines of millions of dollars? My question is does Well Fargo actually pay those fines? XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: Wells Fargo foreclosed on my home in XXXX They ignored my requests for assistance and repayment for late payments due to child support being illegally withheld by a parent. I lost my home and had to move with my XXXX children the week of XXXX to a rental and lost all equity in my home and my credit is still destroyed 7 years later. I just received a check from Wells Fargo for {$200.00} with a note that said they made an error when my loan was reconsidered for payment assistance. My mortgage account number was XXXX. While the process was occurring they refused to accept any payment at all towards my loan because they said I was delinquent. {$200.00} will not cover the expense of moving, the trauma to my family, the damage to my credit, the 7 years of income renting a home for my family with no equity to show, and the equity I had in my home. I would like to be compensated in the settlement as the documents and court records show against Wells Fargo. I have been employed full time as a teacher for 21 years and worked part time in addition to that as well. I had the income to cover the expenses, but Wells Fargo refused to work with me and in the end did not even respond to any correspondence or phone calls.
