Consumer Complaint: I am filing a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ) regarding the inaccurate reporting of payment history on my credit report with the account number XXXX. The violations under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), specifically outlined in 15 U.S. Code 1681s-2 and 15 U.S. Code 1681a ( 2 ) ( A ) ( i ), have caused significant emotional and physical distress. Despite the definition of " consumer report '' excluding reports containing information solely as to transactions or experiences between the consumer and the persons making the report, the inaccurate reporting of transactions on my account constitutes a direct violation of the FCRA. I request an immediate reversal of the account status to " Paid as Agreed '' or " OK '' status and compensation of {$1000.00} per FCRA violation.

Consumer Complaint: I tried to pay my mortgage on the first of XX/XX/year>. Due to an issue on my end which i fully acknowledge, the payment did not go through. Due to a timing issue in my checking account, there were not enough funds in my account at the time that Wells Fargo tried to retrieve the funds. This is 100 % my fault and I gladly paid the insufficient funds fee my bank gave me. Between the XXXX of XXXX and the XXXX of XXXX Wells Fargo tried to retrieve the funds 3 times. All 3 times failed because of insufficient funds. I spent those two weeks thinking the payment had gone through and did not login to my bank or Wells Fargo to check. At NO POINT did Wells Fargo try to contact me to tell me there was a problem with the payment. Had they told me, i could have corrected it in less than XXXX XXXX. The last day of the month to pay my mortgage without a late fee is the XXXX. Wells Fargo sent me an email on the XXXX telling me it was late. I was not monitoring my emails and did not find out that my payment was late until they called me on the XXXX. Again, I fully acknowledge that not seeing that email on the XXXX was my fault. But by that time it was already too late to rectify the situation. So, my complaint is that even though Wells Fargo knew there was an issue with my payment, they did not tell me of the issue until it was too late for me to rectify it without incurring a {$50.00} late fee. My complaint is NOT that they didnt call me until the XXXX. Thats fine. My complaint is that the very first time they tried to contact me AT ALL, was the XXXX. Wells Fargo opened a complaint ticket for me and investigated. Their explanation is that they dont contact the user until the XXXX attempt of payment has failed. I dont know if that 3rd attempt always happens after late date but at least in this case, their policy of not contacting the user after the first two attempts has forced me into a late fee. I found this explanation to be inadequate as all it means is their policy is to withhold information until its too late. Thank you

Consumer Complaint: Dear CFPB, I am writing to express my concerns regarding a deferred-interest arrangement associated with my Wells Fargo Credit Card which was used for purchasing closets from closetsbydesign loan. I believe that the terms and conditions related to deferred interest have not been adequately disclosed or have been misleading. Here are the details of my situation : Account Information : Name of Financial Institution : Wells Fargo Issue : Interest of {$5400.00} on Balance of {$5200.00} I was not aware that interest would be retroactively applied if the balance is not paid in full by the promotional periods end. I request clear disclosure of the deferred-interest terms and a fair resolution to this matter. I kindly request that the CFPB investigate this matter and take appropriate action. As a consumer, I believe in fair and transparent practices, and I hope that my complaint will contribute to improving industry standards. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to a prompt resolution. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I am the Trustee for the XXXX XXXX Living Trust. After XXXX died in XXXX, I tried to withdraw the balance and close the account. They took one line out of the Trust and decided that it kept me from withdrawing the funds from Wells Fargo. " except accounts held by me in a fiduciary capacity '' This line actually means if XXXX was a fiduciary for a grandchild or XXXX individual. XXXX had no fiduciary responsibilities. I have spent 7 months trying to resolve this. I am the Trustee for over XXXX XXXX dollars in various banks, credit unions and other Investments. Consumer Complaint: Three different associates with invalid Company Names and Addresses contacted myself and both of my siblings about a debt from XXXX on a Visa Signature Wells Fargo Card for a certain amount that was unpaid. They had 3 different addresses, likely found online, for me. I received dark web activity on my credit alert prior to these calls. With no credit listed on my account or collections listed from wells fargo. Last year a man also claimed to be calling to serve me documents and continued to call with a different accent over the course of a year, named XXXX XXXX from an address that did not exist in XXXX XXXX Ca. Most recently they have claimed to be calling from my county to threaten to pursue legal action. When I asked the the statute of limitations on the account in question she simply said they want to collect for wells fargo. I have advised to cease and disist, however it seems a new name and person is handed my number.
