Consumer Complaint: I signed up for a XXXX XXXX Wells Fargo Card and immediately signed up for auto pay. Wells Fargo did not process this and I ended up being more than 30 days late with my payment. I received no notification from Wells Fargo about the late payment electronically or by mail at any one point, even after 30 days. My credit score has been devastated and I had to pay {$120.00} in late fees and interest. When I realized the missed payment, I immediately made payment.

Consumer Complaint: Dear Consumer Finance Protection Bureau, On XXXX XXXX, my wallet, cell phone, and drivers license were stolen and the thief madeseveral fraudulentpurchases using both my debit card and credit card from Wells Fargo. While Wells Fargo was willing to immediately cancel the charges on my credit card, they have yet to correct the fraudulentpurchase on my debit card for $ XXXX.After one round of investigation they have claimed that this instance was not fraudulent and are unwilling to provide answers or further research despite numerous requests. I have provided a police report, receipts for a new drivers license and cell phone, phone tracking information, a call log, and a detailed minute-by-minute report of the event, but am still being turned down. Attached please find a detailed report that includes a timeline of the events, including phone calls, purchases, website activities, screenshots, police report, and unsuccessful conversations with Wells Fargo. As you can see, I have contacted Wells Fargo at least fifteen times and every time they tell me that my case needs to go to another department and they will get back to me in ten days. In two months of constant phone calls and questioning, they have only called me back with new information twice.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I filed a Wells Fargo Visa credit card fraud claim for a {$250.00} charge made by " XXXX XXXX XXXX '' on XX/XX/23. I did not make that charge, and the credit card had been in my possession with no other fraud charges appearing on my bill. On XX/XX/XXXX, Wells Fargo denied my claim saying no fraud. XX/XX/XXXX I requested reconsideration and evidence of the transaction as I am absolutely sure that was never my charge. On XX/XX/XXXX, Wells Fargo provided a printout saying that my card was used at a retail location ( with no address ) using the tap feature, and since card had been in my possession, transaction was valid. After this I researched further via internet, the merchant does not actually exist in a retail location shown on the printout, nor does the merchant have a website. I called back Wells to say it would be impossible for my card to be used at a retail location for a store that does not exist, and that there is a fraud merchant involved here. On XX/XX/XXXX, Wells denied the claim again saying I am responsible. This does not make any sense as I have no history of making false fraud claims, nor any other fraud charges on my card and as soon as I saw the charge and filed the claim, the credit card number was changed to prevent any further problem. I am the victim of some sort of sophisticated merchant fraud that Wells is refusing to investigate further. I paid the $ due to prevent interest and delinquency, but I need my $ back as this is fraud.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 I was contacted by the Wells Fargo fraud phone number and someone either posed as an employee of Wells Fargo or was an actual Wells Fargo employee. They knew of the fraud activity that had been occurring on my account since XX/XX/2023 and gave me names of two people in XXXX GA that were attempting to access XXXX from my business account. They asked if I knew them and I responded no. I was then told that they were the same people who had been doing fraudulent transactions on my account and that they knew where they were and that they would be able to get them arrested. I was told that a special fraud agent was now in charge of my fraudulent activity and would be able to have them arrested. I was instructed that I had to repeat in the same increments the amounts that they were trying to access. I unfortunately believed this because of all of the fraudulent activity on my account and all the times I had recently spoken to this department. I did as I was instructed and I have never made a wire transfer ever so this should have appeared suspicious to Wells Fargo and I should have received a suspicious activity alert which I didnt. I reported all of this on XX/XX/2023. The XXXX transfers were credited back the next day after receiving XXXX XXXX response they had listed that the wire transfer case was started on XX/XX/2023 this is inaccurate. It makes no sense that I would open a fraud case on the XXXX transfers on XX/XX/2023 and not also opened the wire transfer case on the same day. This was all from the same fraudulent activity and I opened all three cases on XX/XX/2023. I have requested all information including employee notes that was used to investigate the wire transfer because this appears as negligence on XXXX XXXX part or employee negligence that all three were not opened the date I reported them on XX/XX/2023. I requested the information on XX/XX/2023 and have not received any response from Wells Fargo.

Consumer Complaint: My business debit card attached to our business checking account, was illegally used, hacked!!! On the morning of XX/XX/XXXX I woke for work approx XXXX to find 2 emails from Wells Fargo. The first was an email at XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX ( the night before ) *Wells Fargo Fraud Detection XXXX unusual activity, the transaction was declined. The 2nd email at XXXX subject line Your Business Account has reached XXXX dollars. I immediately looked at my account and saw that someone had hacked my debit card and wiped out our business account. I immediately called to report the fraud and ask why they didnt decline all of the back to back charges, not just one. The lady filed the claim inquiry, canceled the debit card, issued a new one and said they would clear it up. All funds were reimbursed except for the largest at {$3200.00} to XXXX XXXX I received an email on XX/XX/XXXX that my order shipped from XXXX. I immediately responded that I had reported fraud on that card and to cancel that order ( emails attached ) XXXX responded, acknowledged the email statingwe are doing an investigation, our bank is going to start working on this ASAP. You are going to receive a resolution as well through your bank, usually around 7-10 business days. meanwhile, we received provisional credit to continue to run our business and make payroll. After searching my emails, I found several other emails in my all mail, spam folder from XXXX. One from XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX stating XXXX XXXX did you forget something? left something in your shopping cart to another at XXXXXXXX XXXX Order Confirmation # XXXX As I had already reported this fraud to Wells Fargo and XXXX XXXX I fully expected that it would be handled. Have never received any product, never heard back from Wells Fargo or XXXX until yesterday XX/XX/XXXX when I received a letter in the mail from Wells Fargo ( attached ) stating we found the charges were made by you or someone who had your permission. The {$3200.00} temporarily credited to your account ending in XXXX will be reversed 10 business days from the date of this letter on XX/XX/XXXX. Please consider your claim closed. We are beyond stressed by this whole mess and are trying to run a small XXXX business that WOULD NOT and DID NOT purchase these XXXX items and NEVER RECEIVED anything from this company. It must be resolved!!!

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX after my home that I paid XXXX value plummeted to XXXX and I lost a job and then my husband lost his job due to the economic down turn. I did what Obama told us to do since we couldn't sell. We asked for a modification. I spent the next 4 months sending by fax modification applications that wells fargo kept losing. Then my underwriters computer was accessed by some one and my file was moved out of review. She was able to move it back in. I was not approved for hamp modification but for a in house wells fargo modification That was more then my original modification I am a hopeful person and didn't want to lose my house that I used XXXX of my money to buy. They added XXXX to the. Mortgage although I paid for 4 months ( that money was missing. I was told it was placed in a suspece account ) while it was in forbearance, I stated paying XX/XX/XXXX. Then the bp oil spill occurred. I was told to stay home from work because the census in XXXX where I worked went down. This continued through XX/XX/XXXX. My salary had been cut in XXXX. I had to call wells fargo again to apply for the hamp.. the hamp was supposed to cut my mortgage in XXXX not take my home. Well they tell me in order to apply for a hamp I had to be 90 days in arrears and then I can apply. I asked for supervisor after supervisor and got the same verbiage. So I complied. This is my bank they know how much I put down. So i trusted them. So in 90 days I applied. Not wanting to fax ( in my XXXX modification proccess my application was consistently lost for 4 months ) the application anymore I mailed it in a fed ex mailer. They receive it. We call wells fargo with the help of a HOPE counselor also set up by Obama and everything is in order for my approval. They have ALL my documentation. I get a phone call this time. The underwriter states that someone got into her computer on her day off and moved my file out of review and she can't get it back out of that " cog '' so I will have to re apply. This was XX/XX/XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX i receive a fed ex mailer with another application I send it back in XX/XX/XXXX it was due XX/XX/XXXX. I here nothing from them. I call and I am told it was lost they didn't get it. I freak out and call XXXX I get all the way to the supervisor of the delivery person XXXX XXXX. She told me that the package was delivered. She tried to call wells fargo but no one answered. I called wells fargo and told them what I found out and now I was told that some document were lost. I asked them to please find the rest of my documents that is to sensitive of information to just be lost. They never did and by XXXX I was referred to a foreclosure lawyer??? DUAL TRACKED FROM XXXX MODIFICATION. Wow. Well I was served on XX/XX/XXXX. Highered my lawyer XX/XX/XXXX. Spent the next 2 years fighting a foreclosure. Wells fargo never produced any discovery and my case was dismissed on XXXX XXXX XXXX. I was served again XX/XX/XXXX again spent the next 5 years fighting. XXXX takes over in XXXX they want me to do a modification i pay for 3 months and then they wanted me to sign a predatory modification I said no. Then XXXX take over. My lawyer gets disbarred i find a new lawyer. And a trial is set there is no discovery either but my house stolen the night before trial. By a bad settlement. Had no choice couldn't go to trial without discovery. If i went to trial and I was going to lose i would have to be out on 3 months. The settlement, still a foreclosure i was in my house 7 months. My lawyer was paid off and the judge. The lawyer called me and said I have to pay rent. I said absolutely not. The next thing you know he said ok. They got my house no discovery not even a note. The lost note affidavit is not posted on my case in court until the next day XX/XX/XXXX the day of trial. Hence the judge appointed not elected and he lost his judge election. So the entire time wells fargo was the plaintiff no discovery they even took me and my husband to XXXX. And all the cfpb complaints They always have said thru have found nothing I am am XXXX if XXXX years I have no reason to lie about these events So many issues Lost forbearance payments, dual tracking, telling me not to pay, moving my file out of review during both modification applications, losing documents faxed and by XXXX. There is a Settlement out there weeks fargo has to pay out.. they refused to send me my part if the settlement which is XXXX they send me XXXX $ finally admitting to wrong doing. So losing my XXXX to a fraudulent modification process sick led to a fraudulent foreclosure is ONLY WORTH XXXX $? excuse me? We used XXXX of our money firm on this house in XXXX. We invested our money for retirement into our home. And wells fargo has stolen that from us. Without seeking our home we had no Money or another home. We had to purchase what we could to afford in a payment and didn payment. So we can pay our mortgage into retirement. We had to purchase a XXXX old. Mobile home. We need repairs yet we retire next year. I think it's time for wells fargo to pay up. THEY ALREADY ADMITTED TO FINDING ERRORS DURING OUR MODIFICATION PROCCESS SO IT'S TIME TO PAY WHAT I DESERVE!!! Consumer Complaint: hi my name is XXXX XXXX i opened my checking account with wells fargo trough the website on XX/XX/2023 and after a while i deposit a cashier check under my name from another institute ( XXXX ) and i withdraw some money in person from inside of branch and even i paid my office rent on XX/XX/XXXX ... but suddenly on XX/XX/XXXX they put hold on my account with all funds that i have without any notice or letter or email to me it was my only checking account and all the credit payments and bills were set up with that account and all of them declined my credit score crashing down i called what's happened they said you have to go bank in person!! they ask about my immigration status i provide my permanent residence card and social security and driving license they said we need additional documents ( XXXX declaration form ) i did initial and signed for them on XX/XX/XXXX for wellsfargo in XXXX XXXX XXXX i was ready for removing hold on my account but they did nothing they said it's gon na take time to review and you got ta wait we can't give you your money back or even close your account you just need to wait i literally need my money that's all i have... they don't respond to me as well i believe in the only reason they put hold on my checking account is i opened my checking account online however i properly input my all information such about i'm from XXXX i have permanent residence card and my social security number but they put hold because they said we need more additional documents ( XXXX declaration form ) for XXXX people my problem is you shouldn't open my bank account through the website when i provided for you i'm from XXXX on the online website forms, you could simply show the massage you are not allow to open checking account through website please go to nearby wells fargo branch in order to opening any bank account... today is XX/XX/ my account is still freeze and they don't respond me as well please have a consideration for me thanks my phone number is XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX XXXX XXXX
