Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/2017, I went to XXXX in XXXX, GA to purchase an automobile with my credit card. I was provided a credit application which I filled out and provided my credit card to the sales rep at XXXX to extend my credit. In return, XXXX brought me an alleged loan on a document with the title 'Sales Agreement ', and it stated GM FINANCIAL as the 'LIEN HOLDER '. A finance charge was involved in the consumer credit transaction and was not disclosed clearly in any of the communication sent from GM FINANCIAL. GM FINANCIAL furnished deceptive documents and communicated with me at my abode in connection to collect an alleged debt that is not lawfully owed. I did make payments after being harassed by the monthly bills and annoying phone calls over the years from GM FINANCIAL, making me believe I was obligated to make such payments. I sent GM FINANCIAL a request to validate the alleged debt. They have not sent any documentation proving any legal or lawful obligation as requested in the allotted time frame. The payments have caused damages to my financial status and reputation. GM FINANCIAL continues to violate my federally protected rights and communicate with me without my consent in an attempt to collect an alleged debt. GM FINANCIAL has not provided any legal or lawful validation of any debt or alleged debt.
