Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I signed a deal for a XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX with no money down from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and AmeriCredit approved the financing for the vehicle.. On XX/XX/XXXX I was called by the dealership to bring it back because they claimed that my check stubs were fake and that the company I said I worked for wasn't real without proof and after signing for my new vehicle it was taking back without proof of the stubs or company being fake. I went into the dealership with proof and the dealership blamed everything on GM Financial. So I wrote the dealership and the GM financial CEO 's and sent Proof that my check stubs are real along with the business being in good standing On that day. It's Wednesday and I haven't received a response. The worse part about the situation is that a Finance Manager was fired because of it. So was I denied because of the General mangers personal relationship with the finance manager? I only asked because I was told that The Rep From GM financial called the General Manager personally and said that my check stubs were not real. Then the General Manager went as far as looking up my companies DOT number and pulled a old out of service order from XXXX and going along with the rep from AmeriCredit. This has effected my credit score in the worse way and my livelihood because I need a vehicle and I can't go anywhere else until I fix my credit score and get those inquiries of of my consumer report. Not to companies reputation is on the line as well. I went out of my way to prove to them and show them I am what I say I am. Those companies don't even have enough respect for consumers to admit when the make a mistake. It hurts because everybody in the world isn't trying to get over. I really just want my approval to go through and go back and get my vehicle from that dealership.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I entered into a contract to purchase a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX from XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX in XXXX, TX. Despite my contractual obligations and fully executed agreement, XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX falsely represented to me and vehicle has been sold to another party. We were in contact with XXXX XXXX XXXX from the dealership who could not give us a direct answer regarding the status of the vehicle. He simply stated, they did not know where it was nor could he provide an estimate of when it would arrive to the dealership. I was made aware today that the vehicle was, in fact, sold to another couple already. This false representation constitutes consumer fraud and deceptive practices in violation of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act. XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX actions have caused me significant financial and emotional damages. I demand that your office take immediate action to investigate this matter and hold XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX accountable for their illegal conduct. I am willing to cooperate fully with your investigation and am prepared to take legal action if necessary to seek justice for this deceitful and dishonest business practice.

Consumer Complaint: Deceptive Advertising/Deceptive Sales Practices - On XX/XX/XXXX, I entered XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, VA to purchase the XXXX XXXX. XXXX, a division of General Motors ( GM ), was running a commercial ad for the XXXX XXXX with a lease payment of {$390.00} plus a down payment of {$3600.00}, taxes, and dealer 's fees. The same commercial ad stated the finance option was a .9 percent APR for 48 months. I was unaware of this commercial until the next day, XX/XX/XXXX. As a result, I signed a lease for {$740.00} for 48 months. I have excellent credit ( my score ranges between XXXX - XXXX ). I qualified for the promotion. It was not presented to me. On XX/XX/XXXX, I returned to XXXX XXXX and asked the finance director XXXX XXXX XXXX why he did not offer me the promotion. His response was, you must read the fine print, and it's a national ad. On XX/XX/XXXX, I wrote GM who referred me back to the XXXX General Sales Manager, XXXX XXXX XXXX. I asked XXXX XXXX why his sales and finance staff failed to mention the promotion for the XXXX XXXX. He responded that he had consulted with his regional manager, and they both agreed that XXXX does not have to honor XXXX 's promotion by telling me. Desired resolution is to void the existing lease and allow me to purchase the XXXX XXXX at the advertised rate of .9 percent APR. This was the best finance option in XX/XX/XXXX. Also, refund the difference between $ XXXX {$390.00} for the period I made these payments. XXXX XXXX did not offer a satisfactory resolution to my complaint. The options he presented were Option # 1- Return the car valued at {$36000.00} on XX/XX/XXXX and make a cash payment of approximately {$14000.00}. Option # 2- Or purchase the car in full, the XX/XX/XXXX payoff is {$49000.00} In XX/XX/XXXX, GM Financial increased my payment by {$51.00} for FL sales taxes. The new payment was {$790.00}. I called in XXXX, and the representative stated it is sales tax. After sending my XX/XX/XXXX letter to GM the {$51.00} sales tax was removed from my monthly payment. If I had not questioned this tax, I would still be responsible for the increased amount. Once the Truth-in-Lending disclosure is completed, can a finance company change the monthly payment? GM Financial does not provide an amortization schedule of how payments are applied, so it's difficult to know if the monthly payments are applied correctly. On XX/XX/XXXX, I was given a payoff balance of {$53000.00} after making 6 on-time payments and a down payment of {$1700.00}. The original price was {$53000.00} in XX/XX/XXXX. I have been given subsequent payoffs, but I do not trust GM Financial 's computation after they carelessly increased my monthly payment by {$51.00}. How many other customers have been affected by GM Financial 's coding or some other error, and customers are responsible for making an increased monthly payment? I believe there may be a widespread problem that needs investigation to ensure other Americans are not paying too much for their leased vehicles.

Consumer Complaint: I have loan with GM FINANCIAL. I have always made my payments on time. For some reason, I realized that there were 30 days late payments on my credit report for the month of XXXX. I have read enough to understand my rights. The 3 Credit Bureaus are required to verify for themselves, but they failed to neither verify nor update me about this complaints. I believe the company is violating Sections 616 & 617 of the FCRA. I believe theyre unwilfully noncomplying with federal law & this issue is creating a ton of emotional physical stress. Id like this matter resolved ASAP as it is impacting my health & wellbeing. Please update the late payment from this account. Consumer Complaint: Back on XX/XX/XXXX, I redeemed my GM rewards points of XXXX, which will be XXXX towards my GM lease payment. I was told their GM rewards department it will take up to XXXX business days to be applied. Also, I recv a confirmation email showing proof of this redemption. So, after 7 days, I called Gm Rewards dept on XX/XX/XXXX to see why the amt of XXXX has not been applied to my GM lease? Instead of explaining what's going on, I was cold transferred to the GM leasing dept/division. At that time, on XX/XX/XXXX, gm leasing dept said they don't see it and to call the rewards dept back, I did, only for them to make more sense. The rewards department can at least prove they attempted to redeem my points by sending me the email with an authorization #, but GM financial kept passing the buck. So, about XXXX weeks later, XX/XX/XXXX, I call gm financial and demand something is done, its not adding up or good business. So, GM Finance finally submitted an IT ticket to see what happened. I waited another week, so on XX/XX/XXXX, I call gm financial @ XXXX and spoke to customer service. I was told after XXXX being told to call rewards. Not until I insisted the rep check my notes in my acct, did she then say the wrong ticket was submitted, so she submitted another ticket to find out or trace the transaction. Still no answers or credit. Now, on XX/XX/XXXX, I was told to submit an email with proof of redemption. Now, on XX/XX/XXXX, told still working on it, no time given. So, today XX/XX/XXXX, I chatted on line with gm financial and was told they stopped the redemption to lease pmt process, but they are still looking. I asked can they just give the points back. Gm Financial said " when they track it down ''. Not Fair or Acceptable. Please help me either find a way to get these two dept honor their program.
