Consumer Complaint: GM financial refuse to correct the amount of the loan. The dates of the long the last payment made refused to send me any information regarding the loan regarding the sale of the car after repossession they did not notify me prior to selling the car each time I requested it, my request was denied. I contact each credit bro agency to get it updated to get it corrected. Nothing is done like it is the company has verified information. The company has not verified any information with me or giving me any type of documentation, showing the long the amount owed or anything

Consumer Complaint: Gm account went into charge off in XXXX and the account should have been closed that year. instead they closed account on XX/XX/XXXX .and there was no activity on the account for 4 years. all of sudden XXXX Gm reported 30 days late on my credit report for 56 months to present, which is wrong. the account in now payed and i have a 1099-c .and GM now change my credit report to 56 charge offs every month .which once again is wrong. this account should have been closed in XXXX with the charge off even with account closed and payed GM still uo to XX/XX/XXXX reported on my credit report negetive info. Gm account # XXXX. i would like this account cleared up pay and close from XXXX and 55 of teh charge offs removed starting from XXXXXXXX .thanks.

Consumer Complaint: About a month ago, I personally notified -GM Financial a dba under Amercredit- about the notice to rescind, or the confusing term of my car loan that did not mentionned GM Financial as my loan servicer, and was not present while I signed the car loan. Legally I have no legal biding contract with GM Financial because they are not my seller-Creditor and the finance charge does not mention Americredit or GM Financial in any capacity. I called GM Financial claiming my right to rescind a contract I never signed and claimed my right to petition the court to stop the harassment and violation of Privacy I was being subjected to everyday. GM Financial sent me a notice, and intent of repossession on XXXX despite the fact that I told them that I have a XXXX and filed a civil lawsuit under Maine Consumer Protection Laws. I had to make a payment on Saturday XXXX to prevent reboot call, harassment, intimidation, and threat of repossession. I am seing a Dr at this time due to my underlying XXXX and XXXX XXXX. If this harassment persist I could end up in a Hospital with a XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX I would like cfbp to investigate this issu and mediate my complaint to best of his capabilities. The unfair Trade Practice is illegal and I have the right to have my private data protected and my car not repossessed. GM Financial has reported two late payments that have reduce my credit point and cause significant stage of anxiety and emotional distress. I never Signed a contract with them and never agreed to have my private date share online without my consent this a blantant violation of Federal and State Consumer and Privacy Laws. XXXX XXXX XXXX In XXXXXXXX XXXX is currently looking into this issue because I request an accommodation due to my XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX. I don't want my car illegally repossessed. I have already notified the office of Texas Attorney General about this issue. The Judge in Superior Court, of the XXXX XXXX of the State of XXXX is currently conducting an investigation and Will notified the defendant at his earliest convenience.

Consumer Complaint: In purchasing the car from GM Financial, I was clear about not wanting a lease with a balloon payment, quality of the car ( no unreported accidents and/or issues ), an affordable monthly amount, and hidden fees. I purchased the car for approx. {$20000.00} in XXXX. In paying over the years, I continuously questioned why the term amount was not changing yet I was paying almost $ XXXX for a XXXX car only worth {$20000.00}. I also found out after purchase that there were issues with the car including active recalls. The car has been steadily declining and the cost continues to be exorbitant. I've tried to refinance with the finance company multiple times. After two years and multiple agents, I finally started to make headway with completing the refinance promised. Just prior to signing, I realized that I again received misleading details regarding how the refinance would extend the loan not create better terms. During that period, they repossessed the car twice almost doubling the amount due at the time. I was told in XXXX upon last repo, that the payoff amount was approx. {$10000.00}. In the agreement to retrieve the car, I questioned how long before the car would be paid off now having entered the 5th year and still owing half the original amount. I was told that now that all the finance charges were paid, my payments would go towards the principle. However, now in XXXX, I am still paying the same amount monthly and my principle is STILL {$10000.00}!! I have begged the company to explain and assist, their only response is to threaten to repossess the car AGAIN. Even while the payments were within the month due. I feel I was misled and lied to. Consumers should not have to be victim to such treatment simply because our credit score is low. It is unfair and shameful that companies can get away with this. I have no idea how this car will ever be paid off. I feel like I keep paying and my principle is constantly staying the same. After 6 years, I still own half of the original purchase amount.

Consumer Complaint: Hello, In XXXX I got a new leased XXXX XXXX. The lease was for 3 years. During the course of this loan, I had XXXX issues with GM Financial 's auto payment system. Once in XX/XX/XXXX and once again in XX/XX/XXXX. When I realized it happened again, fearful my credit would be penalized, I paid off the remaining months of my payments early. When I returned the vehicle early, I was charged again with additional fees that were all paid on the date of return and the account was officially closed out by GM XX/XX/XXXX. This all shown and recorded on XXXX. The past few years my husband and I have been looking to purchase a home. We went to sign mortgage documentation XX/XX/XXXX, I noticed that it incorrectly showed an active loan with GM Financial. When I informed our lender, they let me know " There is a GM lease still showing up on your credit for {$1800.00}. '' This does not show up anywhere on my XXXX or XXXX report shown in XXXX. This is the first this has been brought to my attention and I believe this has been negatively impacting my credit the past 3-4 years now. I tried to resolve this issue with GM Financial and they seem next to impossible with communicating. I can not access my GM Financial account because I no longer have an account number which is required to login. After further investigation, I saw I'm not alone and this has happened to other GM XXXX XXXX consumers who turned to the law for help. I'm not sure if this is the right avenue to turn, but I'm hoping to get this situation justified without having to pursue legal action. I feel they have violated the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Thank you for your assistance in helping to correct this.
