Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I received an IRS notice XXXX for Tax Year XXXX, dated XX/XX/XXXX, that I have violated my Installment Agreement for Tax Years XXXX - XXXX, and will be charged {$210.00} for each year as penalty and terminate the Agreement. It originates from the XXXX for the amount of {$9900.00}, dated XX/XX/XXXX, provided by General Motor 's Financial/AmeriCredit Financial Services , INC, ( Same Company with two different identities ), for account # XXXX. I am complaining about all the inconsistencies beginning with the initial contract with the Financed amount of {$27000.00} on XX/XX/XXXX, the balance amount of {$28000.00} on XX/XX/XXXX, the balance amount of {$26000.00} on XX/XX/XXXX, and then the unpaid amount of {$29000.00} on XX/XX/XXXX upon being sold for {$16000.00}. I submitted a Dispute to XXXX about the Charge Off amount, and did not received a response from either XXXX or GM Financial. The only document I received was my copy of the XXXX for the amount of {$9900.00}, with box 6 reflecting Code G, for cancel debt, but I believe they needed to use Code C, Expired Statute of Limitation of Debt in State of Texas, due to the time frame submitted, on XX/XX/XXXX, five days to the expiration of debt. I feel the amount is not correct and done in haste. Documents provided through attachments. The numbers don't configure and to weight the outcome of the 1099-C to affect my IRS Account, would cost me dearly if the amount was not correct.

Issue: Managing the loan or lease
Subissue: Billing problem
Consumer Complaint: I leased a XXXX XXXX XXXX with GM Financial in XX/XX/XXXX0f XX/XX/XXXX. The account number was XXXX. Not even ( 2 ) weeks later XXXX XXXX, swapped out the vehicle on that lease for a new XXXX XXXX because the original was a lemon. The new account number is XXXX. From the time that I signed the lease paperwork for the 2nd XXXX XXXX up until XX/XX/XXXX, I made ( 5 ) payments. Then all of the sudden GM Financial had issues with something that XXXX XXXX did or did not do. GM Financial obtained my XXXX XXXX credit report by pulling a hard inquiry without my OK on XX/XX/XXXX. That inquiry is still there. They seemed to have fixed the issue with the ( 2 ) accounts. But NOW THEY ARE SAYING THAT I HAVE A PAYMENT DUE on XX/XX/XXXX. I am PAID ON MY ACCOUNT UNTIL XX/XX/XXXX. As stated above, I made ( 5 ) payments! GM Financial needs to find the 5th payment, because they got my money, and apply it to my account BEFORE the account shows as past due.

Consumer Complaint: I've seen no changes for the accounts that I have filed last month, I still see multiple 30 days late marks which is a clear violation of my right under the FCRA. The company has never responded to any of my attempts to obtain any proof or documentation that will prove this account is being reported accurately.

Consumer Complaint: GM Financial XXXX. XXXX XXXX, XXXX, TX XXXX XXXX : CFPB XXXX. In XX/XX/2020 I received a copy of our Retail Installment Sale Contract Simple Finance Charge from GM Financial along with a copy of XXXX XXXX XXXX account payment history. XXXX XXXX XXXX account number XXXX was sent via email directly to our home address included in GM Financial file. Upon, receiving the wrong documents, I called GM Financial to inform them that they sent Ms. XXXX XXXX 's account payment history instead of our account payment history. Again, I stated this in my complaint to CFPB. On XX/XX/2020 I received a call from a Ms. XXXX from GM Corporate who insisted on knowing how I gained access to MsXXXX XXXX XXXX file. More than once I clarified that it was sent to me via mail from GM Financial. It was included with our requested personal documents. At that time, Ms. XXXX apologize for GM Financial error and for sending Ms. XXXX XXXX information along with our personal documents. Ms. XXXX XXXX asked me to discard MsXXXX XXXX 's personal document. MsXXXX XXXX acknowledge that she received all of our CFPB complaints including my cease and desist yesterday to cease communication. We will not be held responsible for GM Financial consumer 's privacy violations of the consumer credit transaction with MsXXXX XXXX XXXX.

Issue: Problems at the end of the loan or lease
Subissue: Problem extending the lease
Consumer Complaint: I have a lease with GM Financial, and my leased ended XX/XX/XXXX, because of the COVID19 I extended the lease, after that extension I called to see what would be the procedure to return the vehicle and they advised me that the dealer was closed and if that was up to me to if I want to leave the car there unattended until business returns as usual, if not they will contact me to return the vehicle. I continued making payments to the vehicle as long as I had the vehicle. GM financial never called me, emailed or mailed me a letter, and came and repossessed the car. Now they Charged Off the account without contacting me at all, I am not sure what I am paying for with no final bill. This was a malpractice and the The Fair Credit Reporting Act explain that it should be fair when collecting and reporting. On XX/XX/XXXX I called GM financial and they said that the final bill has not been generated and it will be generated in few months. another issue was that apparently with no explanation GM financial deleted my online account and when I when to make a payment i had no account, I had to call to recreate the account and in order to make a payment and that payment was 30 day late.
