Consumer Complaint: This is regarding a car financed though GM Financial. The car was totaled and paid off in 2018. I called GM Financial after I was notified that the insurance and GAP had paid the car off to ask if we owed anything else. The lady said no that everything was taken care of. I thanked them for their help with everything. About 6 months later {$240.00} was put against me on my credit report. I was so outdone with this and I called them to get it straightened out. I asked them why this was put on my credit and they said it was fees that was not collected. I told them that I had asked if I owed anything once the car was paid off and I was told no. I was never late on any of the car payments. If my son wasn't able to pay it I always paid the payments. My credit is precious to me and I try my best to protect it at all cost. I paid XXXX XXXX to clear this up for me and after many attempts of trying they told me to contact you. They were able to convince one of the credit bureaus that this was not owed and they fixed it on their end. However, one of them did not fix anything and It's hurting my credit so much. Every-time I get my score back up they put it back on there again and my credit report takes a huge dip. If I truly thought that I owed this I would have paid it a long time ago. Please help me with this matter.

The loan terms are very confusing and misleading when I purchased the vehicle. There is no way with the current terms of this loan to pay or reduce interest payments or amount.

Consumer Complaint: Hi AMERICREDIT/GM FINANCIAL ; and how are you doing? Im not sure who to take this to anymore, but Ive disputed this account several times with both the original creditor and the credit reporting agencies accordingly and Ive attached everything to support my dispute. However, I continue to received a pre-template letter sent to me that its been verified and it REMAINS. How is it possible that this was verified if you continue to report incomplete, inconsistent, inaccurate, and unverifiable information on this account and a thorough and in-dept investigation. Ive disputed and I havent received anything as such, but it continues to be reported in violation of the consumer laws. Continues to report wrong balance, incorrect date of first delinquency, wrong date of last active, inconsistent payment status, high balance and actual balance is questionable, etc. I believe that section 609 of FCRA also allows me to ask for detail information about the account and how you indeed investigated and your detail process. Im extremely upset and shocked about the way this charge-off account is reporting on my credit report which continues to report with incomplete, inconsistent and unverifiable Info. How can you honestly say that you verified as it being accurate? This was NOT verified! I am requesting this investigation under the authorization of the Fair Credit Reporting Act Section 623. ( a ) ( 8 ) ability of consumer to dispute information directly with the furnisher. What I am disputing : The account you have reported to the three credit bureaus. My basis for this dispute is that I have no knowledge of this account.

Consumer Complaint: I have an auto loan with GM FINANCIAL, and I have always made my payments on time. For some reason, I realized that there was a late payment on my credit report, I called GM FINANCIAL and they said their system mistakenly put me on paperless billing, which I did not request, and it caused me 30 day late account posting error. As you can see, I have always had a stellar payment record. I tried contacting XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, and GM FINANCIAL with no successful resolution. XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX reporting me 30 days late in XX/XX/2019. There was an error on their part. I was never late.
