Consumer Complaint: I'm a tenant with a rent control, I as been here for 17 years, after my husband passed in XXXX I haven't a legal lease I always signed but they never sent the copy, on XXXX XXXX complaint to the City for the same reason they ordered to sent me a lease copy in 30 days and eliminated all the overcharged for lateness wich its not applied, according to the first lease in XXXX, they sent me the lease I signed but they never sent me the copy. I never stopped to pay my rent, until last year due to covid ERAP deposit an amount of money covering my rent for 5 month on XX/XX/XXXX ( XXXX ) supposed to be covered until XX/XX/XXXX, I started paying my rent on XX/XX/XXXX even with the increased amount that not supposed to happening until one year later ( XXXX XXXX ) I spoke with them about it to many times they became disrespectful with emails, and harassing me with late notifications certified mails and emails, I complained to the Housing again about it on XX/XX/XXXX, I have the docket number and I guess that they have the notification too.They sent me and email telling me that they will sent my debt into collection they did it and today XX/XX/XXXX I Recieved the notification from TSI, and after all this back and forward with the emails they sent me the lease 2 weeks ago ( XX/XX/XXXX ) when I signed in XX/XX/XXXX and I supposed to recieved the tenant copy 90 days later ( around XXXX or XX/XX/XXXX ) and this it's the first legal lease that I have since XXXX and they're overcharged me also I told them if they're right I'll pay what I own and for sure it's not the amount they're saying

Consumer Complaint: Apartment complex XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX Texas are claiming that I leased an apartment with them and have a balance due which is now in collections. The account is now being handled by a third party TSI- Transworld Systems Inc . I went in person to speak to the property manager, XXXX XXXX, and he stated he doesnt not have access to my lease nor the documentation collected at the time the lease was signed. He went as far as mentioning that this community lately has gone thru a sweeping change of staff due to several fraudulent leases and out of compliance issues and mentioned its not likely they havent any of my original lease information on file. I have spoken with the collection company as well because this is hurting my credit and have tried to dispute it and request original documents collected and my identifications showing it was me that leased the apartment but no one is helping.

Pursuant to 15 U.S.C. 1692g, I sent a validation letter dated XX/XX/XXXX sent by certified mail - tracking number # XXXX. However, Transworld violated the law and reported this fraud account to the CRA 's ( XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX ) starting XX/XX/XXXX, violating the FDCPA. Transworld replied to my validation letter well past 30 days with a letter dated XX/XX/XXXX ; the contents of the letter confirmed to me that this was not my debt and is a fraud account. Consumer Complaint: I am a victim of identity theft. I recently learned that my personal information was used to open an account at your company, XXXX XXXX XXXX. I did not open or authorize the accounts that you report a balance of {$1900.00}. This fraud account was not opened by or used by me. I've never had an obligation to you or the medical companies you represent. Additionally, I am allowed under the HIPAA law ( Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 ) to protect my privacy and medical records from third parties. I do not recall giving permission to any medical physician, office, or affiliate to release my medical information to a third party. I am aware that the HIPAA does allow for limited information about me. Still, anything more is only to be revealed with the patients authorization and I have never given permission to any physician. However, please send me written confirmation that I am not responsible for charges on this account and take appropriate steps to remove information about this account from my credit files. I have enclosed a copy of my FTC Identity Theft Report. Because the information you are reporting is the result of identity theft and is inaccurate, I request that you stop reporting this information to the CRAs, as directed by section 623 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( B ) of the FairCredit Reporting Act, 15U.S.C. 1681s-2 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( B ).
