Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX used my Credit Information with banks that I did not authorize such as XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I authorized to run my credit to XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX to get an auto loan from XXXX. I authorized just 1 Bank and not 5 different banks. XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX affected my Credit Score. They should tell me in advance before running my credit 5 times. The car salesman offered me on XX/XX/XXXX, a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I traded my old car XXXX XXXX XXXX, and the salesman said that everything was approved by the dealer, and I left the car dealer place with my new car. Next day a received a call from the same salesmen stating that the financial manager wanted to talk with me. I went to the XXXX XXXX dealer again and the Financial Manager informed me that I had to return my new car. He said the auto loan was not approved. I informed to Financial Manager that the Salesman told me that everything was approved, and that is why I left the dealer with the new car. They lied to me. This situation increased my Car Insurance, because I had to change my car insurance for a new car, before leaving the dealer. So, they made me return the new car XXXX and offered me another car. I had to trade the new car XXXX for another car which was not XXXX ( XXXX XXXX ). I had to report to my car insurance company again and they increased my car insurance again. This situation was very difficult and frustrating. I requested an appointment with the Sales Manager, and he just offered me to give them another big down payment of {$6000.00} after I gave them {$2000.00} to get a XXXX car like the car that I trade from the beginning of the whole story. I ended up with my credit score very low after having a decent one. They screwed my car insurance. I ended up paying {$8000.00} down payment, they ran my credit 5 times without my authorization. I spent a couple days and long hours at the dealer trying to fix all this situation. They even lost my plate number, and they requested another one from XXXX. It was a nightmare. I hope nobody experiences something like this with this Dealership XXXX XXXX XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: I am constantly receiving promotional and preapproval letters in the mail even though I have opted out of receiving any type solicitation from companies that I don't wish to do business with. Eligibility information contains account numbers, names and address. ( 12 CFR 1022.20 ( b ) ( 4 ) ). Direct mail is listed with other examples of how solicitations can be done. According 12 CFR 1022.20 ( b ) ( 5 ), solicitation is the marketing of a product or service initiated by a person, such as a financial institution, that is intended to encourage consumers to purchase or obtain products or services. A pre-approved letter is done after accessing ones consumer report to see certain financial information which I have not granted my consent to have. These actions violate my personal nonpublic information ( personal identifiable financial information ( 15 U.S.C. 6809 ( 4 ) ). A pre-approved letter is intended to encourage a consumer to obtain a company 's product and services, hence pre-approved, instead of pre-qualify which authorizes a soft inquiry to create an offer. They always send correspondence that says Under the Terms and Conditions When we solicit you for an account or from time to time thereafter we may offer special terms in connection with your account. Per 15 U.S.C. 6802 ( a ) ( b ), The credit agencies have failed to send me any form of notices giving the opportunity to opt out of any access they are giving others, more specifically their affiliates that they are allowing access to my non public personal information. As to the claim that my credit score isn't affected, that is wholly untrue as every soft pull takes away a point. In addition when my SSN is hit for any type of inquiry and I do not receive anything in return, that is securities fraud because the company is trading on the secondary market with my information that is being sold to them.
