Issue: Problem with a company's investigation into an existing problem
Subissue: Investigation took more than 30 days
Consumer Complaint: I have already sent a letter addressing the inaccuracies and unknown items on my credit report, but unfortunately, I have not received any response even after 30 days. It feels like I'm being taken advantage of and my disputes are being ignored. According to Section 611 ( a ), if these items are not investigated within 30 days, they should be promptly removed from my credit report. Since it has been over 30 days, I expect these accounts to be updated immediately. If not, I will have no choice but to pursue legal action due to the stress this situation has caused me. Additionally, my information was also affected by the XXXX, XXXX, and Transunion data breach, which raises concerns about the security of my personal data.

Subissue: Their investigation did not fix an error on your report
Consumer Complaint: I am writing to express my deep frustration and distress regarding the inaccuracies found on my recent credit report. Following a thorough investigation, I uncovered numerous unverifiable, invalidated, inaccurate, and questionable items that your agency has failed to report accurately. These errors have had a profound impact on my financial stability and mental well-being, causing severe distress and frustration. It is unacceptable that your agency did not ensure the 100 % accuracy mandated by law under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. I demand immediate action to rectify these inaccuracies. Your agency must conduct a thorough review of the disputed items and promptly correct any errors found. Failure to address this matter with urgency will leave me with no choice but to pursue legal action to seek restitution for the damages caused by your negligence. I expect a prompt response detailing the steps taken to address the inaccuracies on my credit report.

Consumer Complaint: Viewed the credit report and it shows that the XX/XX/2023 payment is not showing correctly. It shows 30 days late when that is inaccurate. Payment of {$500.00} was due XX/XX/2023. A payment is {$250.00} was paid on XX/XX/2023, at XXXX am confirmation number XXXX. Another payment of {$250.00} was made on XX/XX/2023, at XXXX am confirmation number XXXX. Called XXXX and spoke to a supervisor at XXXX XXXX, he verified that the payments were made correctly and documentation would be made on the account. A total of {$510.00} was made for the month of XXXX. They fixed the problem and reported it current and when I checked it today they changed it back 30 days late when it was not 30 days late. If this error does not get fixed I will get my lawyer involved. On XX/XX/XXXX, it showed correctly on my credit report now in XX/XX/XXXX its showing incorrectly.

Consumer Complaint: This is the second complaint I have filed against XXXX. I am a full XXXX XXXX XXXX class member. As a full XXXX XXXX XXXX class member who is in the the automatic discharge group. I was due total and complete relief by a federally imposed deadline. Please know what I just said a federally imposed court deadline of XX/XX/XXXX. This is not my deadline. This was a deadline that was imposed by a federal court. This is verifiable by legal documentation I am enclosing with this complaint. Full relief entails discharge of all of my student loans, removal of all student loan data from my credit reports, and refund of all monies paid to any service or including prior service servicers at the time of this writing, XXXX has done nothing. In fact, XXXX has fought my complaints. And verified information to the credit bureaus after the relief deadline in blatant violation of the settlement Furthermore, they have updated my student loan balance with interest increases after the settlement deadline. They are destroying my credit. In fact yesterday my Trans Union score dropped XXXX points Soley because of the interest increase on the student loan they are not supposed to be reporting. They must remove these accounts from my credit report. There is nothing to discuss. There is nothing to debate. They have no discussion they have no excuse. There is nothing up for debate. I am a full class member I have proof I am a full class member I have the settlement documents. There is nothing to discuss. They were required by XXXX XXXX to remove these accounts they failed to do so. I am demanding you get involved you force them to remove these accounts. From my credit report, because they are reporting them in violation of the law to my detriment. This is unethical. As they knew, I was a XXXX XXXX XXXX member as they put me in for a XXXX as a result of this settlement. They were aware of the deadline and chose to ignore it. Furthermore, I have received a federal job offer. This job, Offer requires a background investigation. This background investigation requires a credit check. The erroneous information XXXX is reporting causes me to appear as a liability. XXXX may cause me to fail this investigation. They have been aware of this for months because I informed them of writing of the possibility I may receive this job offer. I received the offer on XX/XX/XXXX. The harm I am suffering is no longer speculative. Its real. Its present. You must uphold the law you must force them to remove this information. They were required to remove these loans from my credit report by XX/XX/XXXX. They failed to do so. There is nothing else to discuss. I am not subject to any other lawsuits currently pending or surrounding borrower defense they can not use that as an excuse. XXXX XXXX XXXX is a settled federal lawsuit. I have attached the full text of the lawsuit as well as my notice. Thank you.
