Consumer Complaint: Dear [ Credit Reporting Agency ], I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention some unauthorized inquiries that I have discovered upon reviewing my credit report. After contacting the respective creditors, it became evident that they have no evidence or proof of my initiation of these inquiries, nor do they possess any written authorization from me. Furthermore, they have failed to provide any permissible purpose for these inquiries. In light of the aforementioned circumstances, I kindly request that you immediately delete these unauthorized inquiries from my credit report. As per Section 604 of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, specifically 15 U.S. Code 1681b, consumer reporting agencies are only permitted to furnish consumer reports under specific circumstances, one being when a legitimate business need for the information exists in connection with a business transaction initiated by the consumer. Additionally, as outlined in 15 U.S. Code 1681i, Paragraph ( 5 ), in case of inaccurate or unverifiable information, the consumer reporting agency is obliged to promptly delete such information following a reinvestigation. Given that the inquiries in question are unauthorized and can not be verified, I kindly request their immediate removal from my credit report. The unauthorized inquiries are as follows : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXX/XX/XXXX I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and I kindly request that you keep me updated regarding the progress of resolving this issue. Consumer Complaint: I filed a dispute for incorrect information on my credit report. I received an email from the credit bureau stating that they are assuming the disputes are coming from a 3rd party. They in fact did not come from a 3rd party. l even called them to verify it was me and they still refused to process my disputes. I wasted money on mailing my disputes out. I sent personal information to verify my identity through mail, just for them to not thoroughly investigate.
