Consumer Complaint: I contacted Synchrony Payment Security at XXXX regarding my benefit request on XX/XX/. I inquired about the current benefit request : XXXX and asked how many payments were remaining. I was told that a total of ( 6 ) payments would be made and I had ( 2 ) payments remaining that would go towards my Paypal account balance. I was instructed to send in additional information with my form in order to receive further benefits. I was asked if I would prefer the form via mail or email. I informed her that I would prefer email so that I can take care of the matter at the time. I thanked the rep and sent an email inquiry regarding " the additional information '' on XX/XX/ at XXXX PM. I noticed the form did not include what was required to send in to further benefits. I have yet to receive an email reply. I called back on XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I was told something completely different. I was told that I was only able to receive a total of ( 6 ) payments up to {$10000.00} as the result of a reduction in work hours. I informed the rep that was the first I heard of that and I was told something completely different on XX/XX/. As of XXXX XXXX XXXX, a benefit request payment was not made to my Paypal account. I incurred a late fee as the result of not paying. I did not remit a payment because I was told I had ( 2 ) more payments that would be applied to my account. It should be noted that this is not the first time I had an issue with the Payment Security benefit process. It is a difficult process and the advertising regarding the add on is very misleading. I had a reduction in work hours as the result of being a part of a class action lawsuit against my employer and I am already experiencing stress in that regard. This process is adding to it. I did not pay to misled and have my account fall further behind.

Consumer Complaint: I have several cards with synchrony bank. They have reduced my credit limit twice due to " high credit utilization ''. However, by reducing my credit limit after I pay, they are the ones contributing to my high credit utilization. The card that it keeps getting reduced on is my Verizon credit card. I also have a Venmo credit card that they are holding payments to them. I called today and they stated that the payments I made to them on the XXXX of XXXX will not clear until the XXXX of XXXX. Again, contributing to my credit usage. It feels like synchrony bank is in the business of damaging people 's credit. I did call and speak with them on XX/XX/XXXX and again on XX/XX/XXXX. Once to report that a large charge was a scam and they stated they can't help with that and hung up on me. I tried making a payment to cover it and they are not clearing it, when I called, I was " transferred '' but got a dial tone. The second time I was actually transferred and told they could not help. The advice I was given from them was that I needed to report them to the credit bureau before they would discuss any further with me.

I do not have any knowledge of this account and have no idea what this is for. I do not know if someone opened an account in my name, or if this is some other issue. I would like some details about what I supposedly owe, if this is a valid debt I will pay it but I don't think it is.

Consumer Complaint: Reservations were made for two people to attend a football game at the United States XXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for XXXX XXXX XXXX which were later cancelled on XX/XX/XXXX. The reservations were made through XXXX. Synchrony bank posted a charge to my XXXX credit card for {$1100.00} for the dates mentioned and were disputed on the XXXX credit card statement I received. Synchrony told me the charge will be investigated and the charge will be set aside until the investigation is completed. They canceled my old credit card and issued me a new one. They then sent me an email letter on XX/XX/XXXX stating that I was responsible for the charge. I Then called the Synchrony Fraud Unit and talked to XXXX who switched me over to their investigative unit and spoke to XXXX who told me that it was I who confirmed the reservation. My opinion is they did not bother to call the hotel ( XXXX by XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX. in XXXX, New York XXXX ) and ask them if we actually stayed there. If they had, they would have found out the reservations were canceled. I did call the hotel and got copies of the cancellation forms for both XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. Again, I disputed the charge and was told another investigation would begin. That was on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX or XXXX, I received another email letter stating I still owe them the money. I did send them copies of the reservation cancellation forms on XX/XX/XXXX and I have not heard back from them as yet. I am submitting this complaint because I am convinced synchrony is not sincere in trying to resolve this issue. I am XXXX XXXX XXXX and Ive been fighting with synchrony since XX/XX/XXXX. I have always paid the bills that I have legally incurred and I need help in resolving this issue before I get any older.

Consumer Complaint: I used a Pep Boys credit card that offered an interest-free payment program for one year if the promotional balance was paid off at that time. I did not say the entire purchase price just the promotional balance had to be paid off. ( {$990.00} ) vs. ( {$1500.00}. ) Once I paid the promotional fee I began paying only the minimum amount each month. This month I was hit with an interest fee of ( {$400.00} ) and am now told I had to pay the full balance and not just the promotional amount. That was never told or explained to me. Consumer Complaint: requested remove old addresses and false names but was no option for request the hard inquiry from sinchrony bank fraudulent practices when i pay trough the sams club app, they freezes the payment process on screen of the phone offering a 30 % discount if i fill 4 lines with my name, address and my date of birth, when i filled those 4 lines the screen worked properly, and when arrived to my home transunion notifyme that my credit score was decreased due a hard inquiry, i think thi is a fraudulent offer because they inserted an algorithm between the payment process when we are extremely concentrated in the amount of money and quantity of the product 's, iam requesting remove that unauthorized hard inquiries.
