Consumer Complaint: Care credit refuse to gave me any information and told me that they will send me something to my address on mail but I never received it. I asked them for the address that was on file they would not give it to me. I told them that I didnt go to XXXX XXXX in XXXX but decided to not go through with the XXXX and the appointment was free to see if Ill be a good candidate for it, but I wasnt. When I told them that they told me it was not cosmetic but they told me that it was for an animal and I dont own any pets. They told me it multiple charges. I asked them what all I need to do and they didnt tell me nothing I asked for addresses locations and I got nothing. I checked my credit in recently and I seen a bill for over {$2000.00} and now still the same thing. They cant tell me nothing or remove it. This is insane and not me at all this fraud. I cant even get the account number or anything to report to the police not even the month that it happened. I dont have a card number account number or nothing. Also, in XXXX of 2023 my car was stolen and o reported it in to the police. My id, ssc and more personal belongings were in the car as well as my cell phone which I had to get another one and replace all of my cards, ID and personal information.

Consumer Complaint: This is new information that I received from the my local police department in NJ. I advised that I did no make these charges to this Synchrony Card/Amazon . the card was used in California and by fictitious people. I got a " Closed investigation letter '' from Synchrony bank. I tried to contact the investigator XXXX XXXX several times, her answering machine is not updated and have left my name and number for them to contact me. The balance has been since forward to a collection agency and have since dropped my credit scores. The CFPB case number is XXXX. I received the Police investigation results in XXXX of XXXX, and wanted to share the results with Synchrony but they have failed to follow-up on my telephone calls. I will include the new police reports. Again I did not make the charges on this card.

Its been a month and PayPal Credit, after staying on them, did report the correct balance but they won't show it as being closed account. XXXX will not allow me to go online and dispute it as well. Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX credit card ( Synchrony Bank ) has explained my mysterious random debt to them as a Transfer balance. When I ask to see any type of explanation of this charge they tell me about my purchases made previously and purchases paid off previously, of OTHER dollar amounts than the charge they are claiming I made. Their explanation makes no sense and this company continues to violate my rights listed in the Fair Credit and Billing Act. This type of behavior is unacceptable from credit card companies. This card/account does not include transfer balance and I do not do that type of transaction. I have audio recordings with their agents speaking about this and Im tired of the random meritless claims. Please fix the account, as Ive been asking for months and months.

Consumer Complaint: Upon my return home from the XXXX Holidays ( XX/XX/XXXX ), I had received a letter dated XX/XX/XXXX, from Synchrony Bank ( SB ) stating " Change-in-Terms Notice. '' In this letter it gave me the option to reject changes ( which I did reject once I spoke with a representative at Lowe 's ( I could not reach Sychrony Bank ). SB made a threat that if I reject their Terms, that I won't be able to charge anything unless I pay off balance in full. That is when I told them to close my account right then because I don't like threats. I still have a balance owed -- and I told Lowe 's that rep that I will continue to pay {$200.00} until the balance is paid off, and that I should not be charged the high interest rate since I asked the to close my account. The rep stated that I would continue to be charged interest even though my account is closed. My XXXX XXXX shows that I am still being interest. Is this legal or fair to be charged interest when I asked that my account be closed? I have always paid my bill on time and I never missed a payment. Also, I don't think that it is fair to charge me a fee to mail out my Statement because I don't make payments online. Consumer Complaint: NOTICE OF ILLEGAL CREDIT INQUIRIES PERFORMED BY SYNCHRONY BANK AND XXXX XXXX ATTN : SYNCHRONY BANK AND XXXX XXXX Synchrony Bank performed two illegal credit inquiries on my credit file with XXXX XXXX between XX/XX/2023 and XX/XX/2023. A copy of the most recent unauthorized inquiry is attached in the form of a letter Synchrony sent admitting they illegally checked my credit. I never gave Synchrony Bank permission at any time whether oral, written or non verbal to check my credit at any moment without my knowledge or consent. XXXX XXXX I did not give you permission to let Synchrony Bank check my credit without my written knowledge or consent. In summary the Fair Credit Reporting Act lists only four permissible purposes for pulling a consumer 's credit report : a firm offer of credit, insurance, an application for employment or a court order. I have attached a copy of the Fair Credit Reporting Act for your convenience. There is nothing in the Fair Credit Reporting Act that gives permission for creditors to perform illegal credit checks under the guise of an " account review. '' Using the attached Fair Credit Reporting Act, I am requesting both Synchrony Bank and XXXX XXXX state which section allows credit checks to be performed without written consent of the consumer. According to 15 USC 1681b ( 2 ) - permissible purposes of consumer reports : ( A ) IN GENERAL SUBJECT TO SUBSECTION ( C ), ANY CONSUMER REPORTING AGENCY MAY FURNISH A CONSUMER REPORT UNDER THE FOLLOWING CIRCUMSTANCES AND NO OTHER : ( 2 ) In accordance with the written instructions of the consumer to whom it relates. I am requesting proof that the two illegal inquiries fell under the four permissible categories. I am further exercising my legal right to ask for verification. I am requesting the names and titles of the persons who pulled my credit, the dates they purport that I gave written permission ; and the method they purport that I gave permission. Please provide documentation of said permission. In addition XXXX XXXX, I placed a temporary credit freeze on my XXXX XXXX file as I am disputing various inaccuracies. The credit file should not have been released unless I lifted the freeze. These illegal credit inquiries show inaccurate accounts that XXXX XXXX knows are inaccurate. These illegal inquiries resulted in adverse actions including the approximately 10 % reduction of the credit limit on an XXXX store card.
