Consumer Complaint: Select Portfolio Servicing is the loan servicer of my primary residence mortgage and the investor is XXXX XXXX. I fell behind on my mortgage because I ran out of money. In XX/XX/XXXX, SPS offered a loan modification but I could not afford the amount. In XX/XX/XXXX, I got a new job paying 45 % and could finally afford the mortgage. Shortly after in XX/XX/XXXX, I began making monthly payments. I applied 3 times for a new loan modification but have been rejected every time even though I can now afford the payments. I am about {$65000.00} behind on payments and requested for SPS to balloon the payment at the end of the loan so I could have an opportunity to become current but they refuse to do so. I don't know what else to do and I need to keep my home to live in with my wife and kids so I am asking for help. Please help!

Consumer Complaint: SPS 's ( Select Portfolio Servicing XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, UT XXXX ) Deceitful and Fraudulent actions and Refusal to Issue Valid and Correctly Completed Form XXXX For Tax Years XXXX and XXXX : Please refer to the attached file where I have included my interactions with SPS in a chronological order, starting from Page XXXX to try to resolve this issue. SPS has issued deliberately falsely completed IRS XXXX XXXX in boxes XXXX & XXXX, for tax years XXXX and XXXX ( Page XXXX ). Page XXXX contains IRS guidelines for completing Boxes XXXX and XXXX in Form XXXX. Under these rules, XXXX XXXX must be checked and XXXX XXXX left blank as my address as payer and borrower of mortgage is the same as the property address. Instead XXXX XXXX is blank and XXXX XXXX contains misleading information noting only city, state and zip code. This is violation of IRS guidelines for both boxes XXXX and XXXX. This is also a clear contradiction and repudiation of SPS 's arguments when they were issuing correctly filled Forms XXXX until the tax year XXXX ( Page XXXX ). I have tried to resolve this issue amicably by contacting SPS Customer Service and writing several letters. SPS has been acting in extreme bad faith. SPS drags out the matter by taking unnecessarily long periods of time to respond. SPS employees misrepresent, contradict each other, and provide deceitful answers. SPS answers are evasive, dishonest, not to the point. and deflective. SPS deceived me in XXXX by appearing to solve the problem with the XXXX Form XXXX by dishonestly including the XXXX Form XXXX in their response ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ). I became aware of this trick during my frustrating and ultimately fruitless arguments with SPS supervisor " XXXX '' on XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX asked me to check XXXX XXXX myself in my tax filings. All my conversations with SPS employees were recorded and therefore it is easy to verify my complaint. The matter has become mentally stressful and request your action.

Consumer Complaint: I have tried and tried with all three credit bureau XXXX, XXXX and XXXX to remove the late payments from Select Portfolio. The late payments needed to be removed from my credit. I never got one statement at and was XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX. They mailed all the statements to Florida resident XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, Florida XXXX. While XXXX, I also had all my mail forwarded to my current wife address in Ohio of XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, Ohio through USPS. Once home, I found out about all the late payments. So I took action, I Paid and closed the account. I Was Never told or had knowledge of her late payments. Some of her payments were gone up by 9 dollars, where I believe she was paying XXXX a month, and it had gone up to XXXX a month. But Regardless I am very responsible on my payments and I can not have they post that on my credit they need to remove those late payments specially since I paid and closed that account as I am very responsible as an XXXX and XXXX XXXX veteran who served my country proudly. The least they can do is remove the late payments and or remove select portfolio from my credit completely. My history shows I have always been responsible with my mortgage payments. Problem is, I recently checked my credit report to find out this late payment charges. If you see my credit report, I have always paid my creditors on time with past mortgage companies. So It would not make sense that I would be late on a small payment of which I had no knowledge. And I was divorced so my communication with my x wife was of non-existence, please help a responsible veteran who fought hard and survived. Please help. I am also in a process of getting veterans department lawyers and civil lawyers involved in this case to go ahead and sue select portfolio. I have tried to call select portfolio to get my account number and had no luck with them, they said I was not in their system God bless PS : I have added the war statement and awards for the section 5 in this application concerning my veterans ' status.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX i still do not have my corrected 1098 form as of XX/XX/XXXX. I now have not received my monthly statement for XXXX either. When calling in I get the run around and no one has an answer/timeframe as to when I will get my correct 1098, is CFPB really helping? I get same generic ltr. IT'S BEING REVIEWED. It has been more than 30 days .It was a simple correction 2 Mi-applied pymts to principal/reverse re-apply as regular payments effective in XX/XX/XXXX. Correct the amount of interest paid and send the new statement already. This is causing me to not be able to file my taxes. Co. doesn't seem to care at all. RUN AROUND EVERY SINGLE TIME I CALL NO ONE KNOWS ANYTHING. Now I'm not getting my monthly statement from XX/XX/XXXX. I call and am holding holding holding. I finally get XXXX. XXXX ID # XXXX came back to phone XX/XX/XXXX states no update dept is closed and has to reach out tomr.. I asked for CEO name and Corp address, she read it off so fast and had to look up the info again as was unsure. I will also be reaching out via certified mail with a request to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX UT XXXX with another written request and complaint about the slow and lack of response time to correct this issue from D.

I have never missed a payment ; I'm not sure after the 2-3 months of contacting SPS on XXXX regular basis they have not corrected the issue. Even after reviewing my transaction history, more than one manager sent escalations to the cashier department. I believe problem in their system started when finally approved a payment deferral I requested earlier in XXXX. They approved the request late ( XXXX ) XXXX or XX/XX/XXXX ; I ended up not needing the deferral and they cancelled it. IN THE MEANTIME, I never missed a payment.

Select Portfolio Servicing, Inc has purposely concealed important documents relevant to my account and has not provided the information within a timely fashion. 3. Consumer Complaint: My mother passed away XX/XX/XXXX and I have been making mortgage payments on the property every since then. I have submitted all documents proving that I am the sole beneficiary of the estate and property at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, Ga XXXX. However, my name is not listed anywhere on the account. I have contacted the mortgage company regarding my assumption of the mortgage. The response was, XXXX XXXX you ARE listed on this account, so you do not NEED TO ASSUME THE MORTGAGE. However I now know this statement to be FALSE! I am required to assume the mortgage in my current financial situation. This assumption would allow me to get the financial benefits from the VA in my name as the owner. Which I can not do until this home is officially listed as mine. I provided the documentation last time I contacted Consumer Finance in XXXX. However only one of of the two issues got resolved.
