Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I attempted to transfer {$620.00} from my PayPal account to a debit card and the transfer was sent to a closed XXXX XXXX debit card account and not the correct place it was supposed to be sent to. After realizing this took place, I contacted Paypal and was told it would return to my Paypal account within 24-48 hours and to call XXXX XXXX. I then called XXXX XXXX and did not get any help or helpful information to resolve this issue. As the consumer, we rely on companies like Paypal and XXXX XXXX to provide assistance in the best interest of the consumer, and as we don't know the right way and don't have access to get it resolved on our own.

Consumer Complaint: I received a bill from a collection agency called XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX It stated that PayPal had turned over a debt that I had incurred with PayPal for {$1000.00}. I have NEVER used Paypal for that amount. I called XXXX to ask them to explain what the charge was. They wanted me to give them my SSN and date of birth which I would not do. They suggested that I contact PayPal. PayPal told me that I had a zero balance and owed nothing nor were there any records of me ever owing that amount. They told me not to worry about it. My concern is that if I had mailed {$1000.00} to XXXX, what would have happened to it? I read on the PayPal site that other people have gotten bills from XXXX and did not owe PayPal any money either. I XXXX XXXX and it says that it is a legitimate collection agency. I am writing you to alert you as to what must be fraud perpetrated by either the collection agency or someone else.

Consumer Complaint: I have a XXXX XXXX providing XXXX XXXX and use an online entry system for show entries. Payment is made online using checks and services such as PayPal. I have been in business for over 20 years and have used PayPal for a number of years. For my XX/XX/2021 shows PayPal froze {$13000.00} in my account alleging " unusual activity ''. They refused to give any additional information after I talked to their representative on the phone. Days later, they informed me that they were holding {$10000.00} of my money as a " reserve '' to cover any claims that might be made against me. No such claims have ever been made. I will be allowed to receive my money after 45 days. Any addition money paid to me will be held for 45 days. I talked to another account representative supervisor who only identified himself as " XXXX '' he would not provide contact information. He said that the decision to with hold my money was final and that there was no way I could have it immediately. This is my money. PayPal is acting as a bank and has no basis for with holding money deposited in my account.

Was fine with waiting but in no way did PayPal say they were going to steal my money, on XXXX XXXX PayPal took all my money and is refusing to give it back. I worked very hard to make the little I have and is extremely unfair a large corporation like PayPal just takes customers money and does nothing to fix the issue. Contacted PayPal numerous times and they refused to let me speak to a higher up management, nothing has been done, they dont care. I am extremely unhappy.
