Consumer Complaint: Hello, Paypal permanently restricted my account for reasons i am not sure of. Every information i filled in my registration process was original, Current and Legit. I am a XXXX who produced XXXX words of copy for my Client and he reciprocated by sending me a {$500.00} dollar advance fee. He later sent an additional {$200.00} for me to run XXXX promotions for him. I tried withdrawing the money but couldn't. PayPal requested for my Card statement. I went to my bank the next day and obtained it directly from my Bank and sent to PayPal. The next morning i woke up to a Your Account Has been Permanently restricted Message from papal. I have no idea why. I took Pains to go through the registration process in order to avoid any hitch. Consumer Complaint: My issue is with PayPal and it's payment to service industry merchants, in particular hotels. I have attached a screenshot of the issue. The hotel originally authorized the amount of XXXX for my stat for the night which was deducted from my account balance. The hotel then completed the transaction on the same day for {$74.00} this allowed for them to collect on both amounts even though it was for the same stay. My balance was {$130.00} after the {$77.00} was authorized and remained the same even though the later completion was for a lesser amount of {$74.00} this has happened multiple times. Last year they were able to catch the mistake however this year it seems the authorized amounts simply disappear and the authorized amount gets collected as well as the completed amount. So instead of receiving only {$74.00} for the nights stay the hotel collects on {$150.00} the authorized amount, though deducted from my balance never gets released back to the account and in addition to {$77.00} both are taken from my available balance.
