Consumer Complaint: My issue is with paypal and apparently this dates back to XX/XX/2021. I purchased hair online only to learn that my stylist was going in the store to make the same transaction. I reached out to paypal to see if the transaction could be stopped only to learn that i submitted thru my paypal credit account and they couldnt assist. Meanwhile i contacted the vendor and they refunded the payment right away. XX/XX/XXXX Paypal sends me an email stating i owe them for the transaction that they said they could never help me with and now my account is negative {$820.00}. HOW- its 2 different banks involved. Paypal and Paypal credit. THEY NEVER REFUNDED ME ANYTHING I have called multiple times and spoke to a supervisor who said that she would call me back 3 days ago. The reps insist on my speaking to paypal credit who state there is nothing wrong with my account at all NOR do they see any additional refunds Payments are bouncing all over the place due to paypals negligence Not cool

Consumer Complaint: My Venmo account was frozen, not useable for credit or debit transactions, in XX/XX/2021. Initially Venmo could not provide a reason for the freeze but after about 4-weeks identified the problem transaction, which ended up being unauthorized and was refunded back to the originating institution, yet for some inexplicable reason my account remains frozen despite my repeated requests for Venmo to thaw my account, which is now partially frozen but in a discriminatory manner, accepting a credit transaction for {$100.00} on XX/XX/2021 no problem, but still un-useable for debit transactions as of today, XX/XX/2021.

Consumer Complaint: As of XX/XX/21 PayPal closed my account for no reason and will not help me with getting it back up and going. I have conducted business with PayPal for years and have never had a problem. I received an email from them stating that I was selling XXXX material through them, however the only XXXX related items I sell are XXXX XXXX websites throughXXXX. Not one of the website collects money from visitors, or has a PayPal payment gateway on the site. I sell many other items on XXXX which are not XXXX products at all and have to use the same PayPal account for all, as multiple accounts are not allowed with PaPal. I have not violated their TOS ... I am not sure if this is some mistake as I assume it has to be. I have not been able to get help from them for hours now, as no one answers the phone. The time I did get through, the lady said it is final and she could not tell me anything further, that it is decided by another dept. If I have done something wrong at least give me a chance to fix it! They are also holding my funds for up to 180 days. Please release my money immediately, if I can not have my account back. I remembered I could file a report on here as I feel they are not doing their job properly and it is effecting me a great deal as I used PayPal quite frequently. Consumer Complaint: I made a purchase that I had a transaction with. I opened a dispute since the merchant would not resolve things. After a few days, the merchant changed their mind and refunded me. I went to my bank and withdrew my dispute. Paypal then thinks I was refunded twice and STEALS {$110.00} USD from my account. I called Paypal and they claim my bank got the refund twice. I called my bank and they said this is false. I only got 1 refund and now paypal STOLE the refund money from my account. My credit card statement shows I only got 1 refund.

Consumer Complaint: My account was banned last year for no reason and they told me wait 180 days. Ok even though thats extremely long I waited. After 180 days I still have not received an email! I emailed them and they said just wait for an email. Theyre not even following theyre own rules! How you have a policy to hold funds for 180 days then when that day come you cant give me my funds. The 180th day was XX/XX/XXXX and I still didnt receive an email to retrieve my funds. This is illegal and PayPal are scammers with a legal business.
