Consumer Complaint: Yes I applied for a loan and I was wrongfully denied. The company has been given numerous loans and they were all paid off and we do qualify but still no loan. I get error messages. This is the first complaint I have filed about this matter but it has been an ongoing issue since the last loan was paid off We are a 20 year plus account and we should not be going through this. I am on file at the Nevada Secretary of state. I do not choose to give my social security number out because XXXX XXXX who is the owner has given his and actually this is an LLC and it is not required by law and I am afraid of becoming the victim of identity theft. To my knowledge if it is an LLC it is not required. I am not sure if this is XXXX XXXX behavior or it is just illegal and unethical activity in business dealings.

Issue: Unauthorized transactions or other transaction problem

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022, I received a payment from XXXX XXXX via Venmo account for the amount of {$1800.00}. The transaction was successful and I was able to transfer the funds to her son for a payment of rent. A month later, I receive the email from a Venmo account about a chargeback claim being filed by the sender 's card issuer. I called my bank to ensure there was no case opened on my end. Next, I reached out to XXXX XXXX, and her son XXXX XXXX to resolve the matter and clarify the chargeback claim made against me. They claimed the chargeback case was illegitimate and/or reversed when I contacted XXXX XXXX for clarification. I quickly reached out to Venmo after the dispute came back not in my favor and Venmo provided no further detail about the case while simultaneously freezing my account and demanding a payment of {$1800.00}. I reached out to my lawyer who concluded that Venmo is operating under faulty business practices by providing false investigation results. Venmo also sent an email saying the " Case has not been worked '' without any explanation. I tried contacting Venmo and Customer Support escalated my case but it's been a week without action or speaking with an Account Specialist to resolve my case. I demand my account be unfrozen and the amount of {$1800.00} refunded as I have violated no policy or terms of agreement. Also, since I was not the sender, I am unable to use the Purchase Protection Feature. Lastly, there were no goods or services being exchanged during this transaction.

Consumer Complaint: Hello Paypal! I am writing to let you know that I had a couple things I would like to touch up on from our previous engagement. Account information : XXXX The last CFPB Complaint number is XXXX " PayPal will cease collection activities for your account 's negative balance. '' To give a short summary of it, what had happened was I was refunded by Paypal for {$1700.00}, but paypal stated it was a provisional credit which they rebilled for via my paypal account. Paypal understood what had happened and stated they would cease collection activities for my negative balance. However this is unfair as I had already started to pay back the negative balance by asking my friends and family to help. So by the time I found out that that Paypal would not collect on it, I had already paid {$990.00} of it off. I want to ask if Paypal can either refund them or provide me the differential credit of {$990.00} so I can pay them back. It was a XXXX group that I was apart of and they were trying to help me out. Now it just seems that the matter fizzled out as from my understanding, Paypal knew what had happened and therefore stated they would not collect on the balance. Can you find the heart to refund those people that tried to assist me or give me the means to transfer that {$990.00} credit?

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I made a purchase of 5 pairs of high heels from a XXXX based company using Paypal for {$330.00} The company had a return policy of 30 days from date of receipt and they would provide a return label. See the policy here : XXXX XXXX XXXX On XX/XX/XXXX I received the heels and had a professionally trained ballerina try one shoe on and they were so defective she could not stand. The balls were not flat, the construction was not stable, the shoes were completely unuseable without significant risk of injury. In accordance with the return policy I emailed the company, they ignored me. I emailed again and was ignored. I emailed a third time and was ignored. I opened a case with Paypal. Paypal allowed the seller to violate its own published return policy and require that I pay between $ XXXX USD to ship the shoes back. I reviewed Paypal 's buyer protection program and its acceptable use policy. Paypal was allowing the seller to abuse their platform to force a dispute instead of honoring its published return policy so that it would not have to pay the return shipping. I explained this to Paypal and they said they refused to investigate the seller or file a complaint regarding the concerning abuse of the paypal money system to scam, mislead, falsely advertise and profit illegally from a US Customer. Paypal is required to abide by its user policies. Paypal is required to enforce its policies to prevent adverse impact on consumers. Paypal is facilitating illegal transactions by permitting XXXX sellers to violate its own terms of service and acceptable use policy. While I don't expect Paypal to resolve this matter, I do hope this complaint will spark an investigation into the potential illegal practices and complicity with illegal sales practices of its sellers. Paypal is profiting from my loss and profiting from the illegal use of its system by XXXX sellers and potentially other non us sellers that abuse its system to force exorbitant return shipping fees onto the shoulders of buyers. I purchased from this company after reading their return policy and feeling comfortable that I would not be responsible for return shipping to XXXX. Paypal is required to investigate sellers who abuse their system. Paypal also advertises buyer protection but clearly, Paypal is not following that policy either.

Consumer Complaint: I was offered by PayPal to convert my personal account into a business account. After taking my first payment PayPal then froze my account requesting documents to prove the legitimacy of my business which I did. They then refused to release my account after providing all documentation proving the authenticity of my business. I then requested that they return my account to a consumer account and the still refuse to do so. This has affected me both personally and business wise. If they needed proof which was provided before converting my account the time to do so was before converting my account not after I began taking payments.

Consumer Complaint: I tried once again to apply for a working capital loan which I have successfully had more than 2 of them and successfully paid them back. I called and this time the agent was very helpful he knew what he was talking about and you could tell he was perplexed at why I was not being approved either. I don't think that I am going off the hook to quick in LABELING THIS DISCRIMINATION IN LENDING because nothing has changed and there is absolutely no reason based on the facts that I should be being rejected for these loans. I have been a longterm customer more than 20 years on this particular account and I was one of the first one hundred customers of PayPal under another account. Loyalty returned with discrimination? I do know that there is another bank called web bank behind these loans so they might be part of the problem too? Also I tired to add my email to the account ( XXXX )

Consumer Complaint: I was trying to use Venmo to pay someone, and my transaction was declined by Venmo. This is the case even though I have never had any problems with my payments. This left me unable to pay a debt. I contacted the company to understand why ( fraud? credit risk concerns? ) and what I could do to remedy the situation ( validate myself? show balance in my funding account? ) and they gave me no helpful information or remedy. This impacted a business relationship and caused me substantial injury and, as far as I can tell, was unavoidable. I believe my expectations that my account would function were reasonable. I do not see a reason for my payments to be decline and believe that this practice does not rise to a UDAAP standard that would be expected from a credit card or bank.
