Consumer Complaint: To whom it may concern, We used Paypal as a payment processor on our website and suddenly after six months of using their service, they sent us an email on XX/XX/2022 stating that we can no longer do business with PayPal because we're in violation of PayPal 's Acceptable Use Policy. Also, they held our balance of over {$51000.00} for six months which caused our business many financial hardships. The money has been on hold for over 3 months and we can not wait any longer because we may lose our business.

My bank account had not yet been manually added to my Venmo account and in attempting to do so manually instead of using their instant verification spyware called XXXX which allows that company access to my bank account balance, they froze the account and called it suspended saying I violated terms of use. I did nothing of the sort. Thereafter Venmo account specialists on XX/XX/XXXX said I could only have access to my money and my account and have the access and ability to transfer my money to a bank if I provided BOTH a photo of my government issued photo ID and a selfie of me with my government issued ID. This is beyond invasive and ridiculously stupid to do. They are clearly not a secure, trustworthy company. They are holding my money hostage unless I comply and have given me no reason for freezing and suspending my Venmo account. I have not committed any violations of Use. I have been a PayPal ( their parent company ) user since 2001
