Consumer Complaint: I have a venmo account, I was reviewing my transaction history and I misread some transaction and so I submitted a dispute, right when I had submitted it I realized I had misread the date and then I get a notification from venmo saying they locked my account, I told them the mistake and have proven my identity to them but they still have my account and my money locked and they will not release my money or let me close my account, I need this money and they are telling me I need to wait seven business days and this is just plainly unacceptable

PayPal refunded the purchase so I am not getting the product I ordered, and I am being told I will not be able to access that money for 180 days. I spoke with a customer service representative and she was not helpful. Her supervisor was even less so, claiming they could not give a reason as to how I supposedly violated their terms of service.
