Consumer Complaint: I keep receiving an Active Billing amount by XXXX to my paypal account. Despite being able to turn off active billing, the debt paid to XXXX should have never been paid by paypal. XXXX is falsly charging users for a PRO SERVICE EFFECT when using a FREE membership plan. Each month, paypal is being charged and paying XXXX to XXXX for a BILLING amount I have not agreed to nor am receive service from. I am not alone in this scam of users on a FREE sign up to receive charges for a pro membership cost that we can not even access via our free plan. I have paid fees to my bank to block anymore illegal charges from XXXX, but they continue to charge my paypal account. I have removed paypal to accept anymore charges, but Paypal still has 1 accepted charge for XXXX. Now I am illegal in debt with paypal for them paying a service that has is no longer available. I want these illegal charges held against me to end and paypal to charge XXXX for any refund or debt collection. Who knows how many people XXXX is currently illegally charging active billing.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX i deposited XXXX into my bank account from a sports bet wager i had won. On XX/XX/XXXX, i got a notification on PayPal. My winnings were being refunded back to XXXX. Three months after i had already won the wager. After i seen that madness i attempted to call PayPal to cancel it. They told me it was pending so i couldnt cancel it until it was done pending. They also said it takes 3-7 business days for a pending payment to clear, so i waited. I called PayPal back to try to cancel it when it was cleared and now they said that the refund was already sent and i would have to either contact my bank or XXXX to get the money back. I contacted my bank and XXXX. My bank said since it was a refund with PayPal they couldnt dispute it and XXXX told me that they didnt receive the funds back at all and to contact PayPal for better assistance. So I tried and they said theyll let me talk to the Paypal supervisor for more help and left me on hold for about 40 minutes and hung up. Keep in mind its been 3 weeks i still have bills and Im not rich so my bank account is overdrawn now because of the XXXX and my bank took XXXX more dollars for overdrawing my account.

Consumer Complaint: Thursday XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX XXXX PayPal contacted me saying they had closed my account and are withholding the money in my account The amount I currently have in my account is {$290.00}. I have called and recorded the conversation with PayPal support 3 times over the course of a couple days, the first individuals claim they have no idea as to why there was a hold on my account, gave me a ticket number and told me to wait for an explanation as to why. No response was given. I called them Sunday, XX/XX/XXXX around XXXX requesting an explanation, with none to be given. They have admitted multiple times that they have limited my funds without proper notice as to why, They then transferred me to a supervisor, who again, declined to give me any information. I have had the PayPal account since XXXX with no issues. I would like my money back, and my account reinstated if at all possible, I reviewed their blanket policy terms of service and found that I had not violated it. here is the email I recieved You can no longer do business with PayPal After a review of your account activity, we've determined that you're in violation of PayPal 's Acceptable Use Policy. As a result, your account has been permanently limited and you won't be able to conduct any further business using PayPal.
