Consumer Complaint: I spoke with navideo in regards to getting my XXXX loans discharged. There was a website on the US Dept of Ed that the CFPB work to protect XXXX borrowers resulted in a action which barred XXXX from engaging in predatory private student lending and resulted in {$490.00} XXXX in private student loan cancelation. In light of this articles, navient is dismissing this claim an acting as they don't know nothing about it. I spoke with federal student aid and they informed me that these loans should if also been forgiven as these are XXXX private loans. My private loans with XXXX ARE THE FOLLOWING XXXX {$13000.00} XXXX - {$8000.00} XXXX - {$3400.00} What can we do in terms of these private loans that were taken when attending XXXX XXXX?

Consumer Complaint: I have filed complaints with this agency in regards to the predatory practices of Navient in regards to my student loan and continue to get no response as to why Navient had placed this account on hold since XXXX due to, as it claimed, a bankruptcy lawsuit filed by other borrowers. I have never filed for bankruptcy and Navient should not be able to charge me fees for a lawsuit that had nothing to do with me. Prior to XXXX, Navient had placed this account in deferment in XXXX, where it gathered thousands of additional dollars of exorbitant forbearance interest fees. In total, Navient has held this account in deferment and hold for 14 years, where no payment could be made. The original loan was {$7000.00} ; it is now more than {$18000.00} after 14 years of one hold or another. Navient used the credit bureaus as a weapon in XX/XX/XXXX and reported the account in late status without informing me when the bankruptcy hold would be released. I believe Navient did this punitively after my complaints with this agency because it responded to one of my complaints by simply stating the hold would be lifted " soon, '' which does not indicate an actual date, but still they reported the account late. I spoke with an agent with Navient in XX/XX/XXXX, and she informed me that the fees assessed to this account for the bankruptcy hold should not have been based on that lawsuit as this account should not have been a part of that procedure since it that did not pertain to this account. Navient apparently is ignoring this matter and deceptively distracting with a story about not having an up to date address for me, even while I have had my mail forwarded with the post office. They have not provided life of loan documentation with legitimate attempts to contact me, but they have provided proof that they have not been an honest broker of this service by using the credit bureaus as financial weapons, omitting the date the hold would be lifted from the bankruptcy hold in their CFPB response to my complaint for inaccurately placing this account on a bankruptcy hold for 9 years plus 5 years in deferment hold before that, and now trying to steal 14 years of forbearance interest fees from me without remorse or accountability.

Consumer Complaint: I attended the XXXX XXXX and had a loan with Sallie Mae now handled by Navient. I was taken advantage of by the institute and have an outrageous loan. Ive attempted to contact Navient about the extremely high interest rate within the last 2 weeks of this complaint. I requested a copy of the initial loan agreement and I believe I am being overcharged and charged an incorrect interest rate. The variable rate per my contract is based on the wsj prime index and currently it is nowhere near the crazy interest rate Ive been charged. This may have been going on for years and I havent been able to pay it down. Also on the contract it only shows {$5000.00} was dispersed to the school of the {$30000.00} loan so Im wondering if the school even took the money I never finished the program so this also prevents me from releasing my co-signer now over 10 years later. Also as a person who was defrauded by the shut down school The XXXX XXXX loans were forgiven in the most recent lawsuit however mine was not. I believe this should be re-evaluated as Ive only been paying interest so I wouldnt default and ruin my credit. Please help me, this loan is predatory and has plagued me my entire life - something isnt right.

Consumer Complaint: I have a dozen problems. But right now I still can't get in the Federal student aid page. They had to do a reset that took since XX/XX/XXXX and sent me a code. The code wants me to confirm changes. I have a new address. It won't move forward on the page to confirm. I had the chat person there try to help. Nothing worked. I don't even have a place to log out there as I should. I think that site is being watched, or hacked something. Something is wrong. And before that I have all kinds of emails all year begging Navient to help me with info so I know what to do. For months. I got emails saying they are investigating my case and will get back to me. No help. Or several that say she will be out of the office for a week. Several times! I couldn't get in my navient account for a while and didn't even know what my loans were from 25 years ago. But they were federal XXXX subsidized. But sold I guess. I feel they have purposely not assisted me for a very long period. I have XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I have XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I begged for help. I finally got in navient site but locked out of student aid a long time. I've spent so many hours so many days trying to get this figured out and see what I need to do. I cant get in XXXXXXXX XXXX now. I hope a hacker is now in there. XXXX XXXX asked for my SSN and date of birth. I couldnt log out.

Consumer Complaint: I have a loan through the XXXX XXXX consolidation loan process. I have over the years attempted to get my promissory note, correct payment balances etc. I was sold to XXXX by the federal government when they abandoned the XXXX program and then was sold to navient in 2017. Navient says that XXXX did not provide a promissory note or payment history. In XXXX I attempted to direct consolidate with the federal government through a company called aidadvantage. They sent me a denial letter stating that I was not qualified due to the type of loan I have. I recently learned that even though they denied me the direct consolidation with the government they took over my accounts. ( i believe navient and XXXX are one and the same just sister companies ) When I talk to Navient they say I need to talk to XXXX ( even though i am still paying Navient ) When I talk to XXXXe they state they have no account but see that its with some other company called XXXX. I would like to make a formal complaint against all three companies ( probably just the same company ) about why I was not notified of any of these changes. Lastly XXXX says I am not a customer of theirs. I will fight for some type of understanding with XXXX but in the meantime this can not continue.

I logged on to pay my payment which is due the XXXX of each month. They are showing the loan as PAST DUE so they can access late fee 's to the account. I then try to pay extra and of course they want the XX/XX/2002 payment as well now. This organization has done everything they can to XXXX the borrower of loans with them!!!!!!!!!

Consumer Complaint: To whom it may concern : I have filed a complaint with the CFPB years ago, called the Ombudsman, anyone that would try and help me with " Sallie Mae/Navient. '' I have the original emails from years ago. And Nothing was done. So I have beyond paid the price for their false statements, charges that were not consistent, destroying my credit report for years ; for 2 private loans from XXXX, that they removed deceased members from like they were never on there. Not producing itemized documents to me, promissory notes that did not even go with the loans that I had taken. Also, the school is closed. It has been for years. It was apparently a private college-non of the credits were transferrable and truthfully none of it makes sense. So for all these years my XXXX XXXX has paid them-because they would negotiate with me. You guys didn't help me, due to an out pouring of complaints. So I had no other choice. For the sake of saving my credit. No attorney would take my case-due to the fact that during that time had a government affiliation. It's been a nightmare. I really was beyond swindled from the beginning. So today, I sit here ; with literally the same amount pretty much as XXXX. I am XXXX years old now. No degree. At the XXXX school these loans were taken out from was " XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX, Michigan. '' I have also tried throughout the years to file for it to cancelled to through them, due to the fact that the school has been closed for years. Never have I been eligible. Which legitimately makes no logical sense. Well, My XXXX XXXX XXXX, unfortunately passed due to XXXX on XXXX, my birthday. I also today am a XXXX parent ( BY CHOICE-NO VICTIM ) of a XXXX year old little boy that misses her like crazy just as I do. ( I apologize for the single parent comment, but some people use that as an excuse. I don't his father is not involved-no child support, and long story short I wasn't supposed to be able to have children, so he is my miracle. ) We all lived together. He was born in our home. ( Her home ). My dad passed when I was XXXX years old, so my Auntie-never married, and having no children, I have always been like her daughter & she was like my other parent. She left me everything. But, of course, she was on technical terms my mom 's first cousin, so I guess even though she died at XXXX years old, and was like my other parent-im techinically a 2nd cousin. So I took everything I had in my XXXX to bury her properly. NO HELP. Then the last {$4000.00}, I had to hire an attorney, to fight all of the first cousins for the estate. So naturally with all of this stress, it took me a minute to call Navient. When I did in XXXX, they would not negiotate payments. They put me on an interest only program reducing the payments from $ XXXX {$360.00} to {$150.00} or {$140.00}. Clearly, I took over the entire house of bills including homeowners, taxes, her car, etc ... .while in probate. So I am juggling a-lot. They have continuously came up with excuses on why they aren't taking the payments. I am behind, etc. It's insane. I am on the verge of a XXXX XXXX. So out of no where, last week I check my online banking-I am overdrawn due to them taking {$300.00} out-two times getting another {$66.00} in total of fees, for a payment I never authorized and did not set up.? I called my bank. I couldn't see what or who it was. They told me. I called navient immediately. They were so rude said I screwed up the payments, all of these excuses. He said I was not eligible for income based anything. He would file a dispute. I said what about the {$66.00} dollars you just caused me. He said yeah you're not getting that back. This was XX/XX/XXXX. I would have never set this up. I need gas to drive my son to school, work, pay my car payment, and I had to pay a cash advance which I never have done before on that friday XX/XX/XXXX. So I borrow {$500.00} from my mom 's best friend XXXX. To ensure when my check gets deposited Friday, plus XXXX, I could pay the loan friday and still be ok. XXXXNavient took the money out of my account again. Sending me getting gas etc, into overdraft ... .again. I literally at this moment am sick. I had to take another cash advance. I am beyond words. My XXXX Probate trial starts this week. I dont know what to do anymore. I have proof of every single thing. Please help me. This is illegal.

Consumer Complaint: I've had account with Navient from XXXX XXXX since XXXX. I made payment agreement with them XX/XX/XXXX to pay XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. They require {$50.00} to do the agreement with them. XXXX and XXXX of this year they charged me {$8.00}, {$28.00} and {$110.00} for XXXX and {$110.00} so far for XXXX and this breaks the agreement. I never authorized the extra funds to be withdrawn from my bank account. I tried to reach out to Navient and they just give automated reply saying they have higher than normal requests to deal with and I can't get anybody. I got on the agreement plan because of my income and I can not afford to be getting over {$100.00} in fees from Navient especially when it is not authorized. I don't know what to do and I don't know if they will refuse to refund the money they illegally took from my bank account. I need my money back ASAP. The agreement with Navient is set up as auto payments for XXXX XXXXXXXX so they have my bank information and they just decided to withdraw more money without my consent. I am really scared that because Navient has my bank information they will withdraw funds that I can not afford and are unauthorized which is what they are doing. I need help!
