Consumer Complaint: I have XXXX private student loans which have been included in many lawsuits for private loan forgiveness as the school has been convicted of fraudulent activities, misleading students, and providing a subpar education. By these actions and through the lawsuits that have taken place over the last 3 years, these loans qualify as such that should be XXXX under the ruling from the judge. The Navientagsettlement.com provides more details, however a {$200.00} check does not resolve the fraud from the loan company, or the fraud commited by the schools.

Consumer Complaint: Issues since my loan was sold over 10 years ago. My interest was never corrected when Navient took over my loan. In XXXX, I was some what successful with a minor correction. Though still not right. Since then they have changed my repayment terms twice without consent. I repeated asked for research to have the account reset. Last time was XX/XX/XXXX. Still nothing received. They refused to send me my full promissory note. I have asked 3 times. XX/XX/XXXX, only received XXXX pages not full note. I asked in XXXX. Still did not receive. Asked again today, as my loan was just reset again. They are beyond shady and I cant get the information I need. I have not consented to any of these changes. I cant get answers and its beyond odd that they can continuously reset my loan.

Consumer Complaint: When Federal Student loans first paused interest and payments, I called Navient, my student loan servicer and asked if my loan qualified for this payment and interest pause. They told me no because my loan, is an XXXX loan that is privately held and not the govt. Then I asked how I could qualify for the payment pause. They said there is nothing I can do. On another occasion I contacted them and asked if I consolidated my XXXX loans if I would qualify for the payment and interest pause. They told me that I shouldn't consolidate because my current interest rate is 2.89 % and if I consolidate, yes it would be 0 % while the payment and interest pause is in place but after that my loans would be at the higher current federal rate around XXXX or 7 %. So I chose not to consolidate at that time. Now, after talking with XXXX XXXX, I find out that if I would have consolidated, my interest rate would be the average of my current loans interest rate so in essence it would remain at the same interest rate and qualify for the payment and interest pause. Because I was provided inaccurate information I have had interest on my loans for the past 2 years that I shouldn't have had and have been required to make payments that I really could not afford.

Consumer Complaint: NAVIENT sent two invoices on XX/XX/XXXX for payment on student loans with outstanding balances that I am not aware that I had. My student loan debt was paid in full through bankruptcy court, XXXX XXXX, completed in XX/XX/XXXX. Case # XXXX I paid NAVIENT {$15000.00} on the first loan and {$8700.00} on the second loan through the United States Bankruptcy Court XXXX XXXX of Michigan XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. As of today XX/XX/XXXX, according to NAVIENT they put my loans into forbearance and this was without my knowledge or consent. They claim they didn't have to contact me because we were in bankruptcy and the period of 10 years just expired so now they are attempting to collect the debt. They now want to collect an additional {$3900.00} on one loan and {$10000.00} on the other loan. ( Navient Account number XXXX ) claiming both interest and principal are owed. I have requested that NAVIENT send information on these loans ( the signed notes supposedly initiated in XXXX and XXXX )

Consumer Complaint: I submitted my annual recertification for XXXX in XXXX of this year. The certification is handled by the government at student loan dot gov. This year, they have not submitted the certification to all of my federal student loan service provider and I have been paying twice the amount I should be paying for the past XXXX months. Ive tried to explain to student loan dot gov that I need them to submit the certification to Navient. Instead, they have told me that all Navient loans have been transferred to another service provider call XXXX. This can not be accurate, at least as of this date, because I continue to make payments to Navient and have never been notified by XXXX. Regardless, none of this is my fault and I shouldnt have to sort through the various transfers and processes these companies perform. Moreover, I should be better assisted by the Dept of Education as they have taken the responsibility of notifying my servicers of my application and recertification. Instead, they keep telling me to contact Navient or XXXX to discuss why my payment is too high. Dept of Education ( on this date XXXX ) can not every grasp the issue that I need for them to send my application to Navient. They are relying on bad information and if this is happening to me, you can bet this is happening to others. For whatever reason, Navient has retained my account in their servicer profile and the Dept of Education refuses to believe it. If, perhaps I am going to be serviced by XXXX, that is fine but their presumption is premature and has continued to cause me to pay XXXX per month rather than XXXX. Its an insurmountable amount of money and I have been so confused these last few months that I have even considered taking our a personal loan to pay off other debt since I cant afford to pay my other bills right now. I have had to ask my husband for money to help me pay my bills these past 4 months. This has real life consequences for people.

Consumer Complaint: I have been in constant communication with Navient agents regarding my loan status. The lost time I spoke with an agent, and the information provided was that all student loans had been placed in forbearance status until XX/XX/XXXX. Per the office of the President of the US. However, last week I received a notice from the credit bureaus informing me that Navient reported my loans as delinquent thereby dropping my XXXX XXXX from XXXX to the low XXXX. Needless to say, I immediately went into shock. After I recovered, on XX/XX/XXXX I called Navient and spoke with an agent, I explained the reason for the call, explained I was misinformed by Navient, and demanded that the report credit report be rescinded immediately. He was unable or unwilling to assist, thus I am reaching out to CFPB for support and assistance in order to resolve this issue. Thank you : XXXX XXXX, I can also be reached via Text : XXXX I
