Consumer Complaint: Navient continues to somehow reappear on my credit report showing that I owe them money after these accounts have been closed. These private student loans were opened 12 to 20 years ago, yet somehow Navient manages to continue to hit my credit report. Just today when I checked my credit, they say I owe them over {$200000.00} in private student loans that are 12 to 20 years old. This dropped my score by over 40 points. I continue to dispute this with the credit bureaus and it gets removed, then months to even a year later, Navient reappears again.

Consumer Complaint: I was checking my credit when I noticed nine separate ( 90 ) day delinquent accounts from Navient, my student loan holder beginning in XX/XX/2017 and received no notifications whatsoever over the supposed 90 days of late payments. I have been enrolled in their Income Based Repayment Plan for nine years qualifying for a XXXX balance payment annually. The process starts and continues once you file your income taxes and upload them on Navient 's website with your IDR application annually. My plans have consistently run from XXXX of one year to XXXX of the following year. There was no point in time when I had lapsed from a qualified " XXXX '' payment to being late, specifically in XX/XX/2017 when I had not yet filed my income taxes as I would normally in XXXX so that I could reapply before XXXX the following year. I have utilized the credit dispute services of XXXX and made numerous phone calls to Navient. There is no way for a loan holder to hold anyone accountable for what they do or say as not one person has an email that we can utilize as proof of document submission or conversations/instructions given by Navient agents. This has hurt my credit score, employment opportunities, and caused increases in my insurance premiums.

Consumer Complaint: I had my Navient and XXXX accounts consolidated with XXXX. Navient is still reporting loans in a negative manner instead of deleting from my reports as i no longer have loans with them. So now its showing as if i have XXXX different loans when i only have 2 none of which is with Navient.

Consumer Complaint: I am in school working on completing my XXXX. I started the program in XX/XX/XXXX and still working on my Dissertation. However, I received a letter in the mail from Navient dated XX/XX/XXXX stating that my in-school deferment will expire in XX/XX/XXXX. So, I called Navient to inquire thinking that I had received a scam letter. The phone tech stated that the letter was legitimate and that the in-school deferment for a private loan with Navient is 48 months -- yes 48 months. The phone tech proceeded to explain that the loan deferment will be up on XX/XX/XXXX and that the payment will become due on XX/XX/XXXX even though I am still in school. I am not aware of any new educational law change regarding student loans, and I have not reached 48 months in-school deferment. I am not sure what is going on with Navient.

Consumer Complaint: How are you doing? I was shocked today when I reviewed my credit report again and found late payments for my student loan accounts. I disputed this account and nothing was sent to me to legally verify the accuracy of this reporting. It continues to report incomplete, inaccurate, and unverifiable information, and therefore, it's impossible that it was investigated and verified Hows it possible that youve reported me 90 days late with no late payments prior to that? Also, wasn't Navient student loan servicer was sued for not applying payments to consumers accounts correctly. I was never late and this account needs to be removed.

Consumer Complaint: Navient continues to report 4 or 5 accounts as late to my credit report even though the accounts were charged off with the original creditor 1-2 years ago. Additionally, they perform unauthorized hard inquiries on my account monthly or every few months. These actions together continue to bring my score down, is overkill, unnecessary harassment that prevents me from obtaining credit or low interest rates.
