Issue: Problem with a credit reporting company's investigation into an existing problem
Subissue: Their investigation did not fix an error on your report
Consumer Complaint: DEAR MANAGER/NAVIENT! How are you doing? I was shocked today when I reviewed my credit report again and found late payments for my student loan accounts. I disputed this account and nothing was sent to me to legally verify the accuracy of this reporting. It continues to report incomplete, inaccurate, and unverifiable information, and therefore, it's impossible that it was investigated and verified Hows it possible that youve reported me 90 days late with no late payments prior to that? Also, wasn't Navient student loan servicer was sued for not applying payments to consumers accounts correctly. I was never late and this account needs to be removed.

Consumer Complaint: This is not an duplicate complaint. In order for me to fill out the Identity Theft Report the Higher Education Act of 1965 included Addendums to the Note like the 3 days before distribution of the loan can the borrower cancel? I need more documents the Police told me. I need the Addendum to the Fake Document The Recession form, Truth In Lending form, Approval form, Credit Check form, SLM Corp address, phone number, location, account number listed on the Schedule Disclosure # XXXX who does that account belong to and where is it located in XXXX. Where did the Web Note come from. Since your FFLEP Application Consolidation and Promissory Note is non electronically what is the process of typing in it to link to the SLM Corp Website to produce a print signature. Under the HEA in which the Note is govern what software was used to get the print signature example XXXX, XXXX XXXX. The Consent form for electronic documents to be sent to me. Payment Options form, Was the WEB form approved by the government OMB? On the addendum to the Note Schedule you approved a consolidate Perkins Loan as an unsubsidized Loan so we need the approval letter from the school the loan was paid. The Loan Verification Check form. I sent Navient two letters that stated loan money was returned to the lender XXXX XXXX since SallieMae was the servicer in XXXX did they lose the records? The Consent form that I approved the loan. The contract Promissory Consolidation FFLEP between me and the SLM Corp signed example the Application FFLEP Consolidation and Promissory Note list the Web as the owner of the Note. Then the Addendum to the Note the Disclosure and Schedule of Payment form that was typed up a month after the loan was approved the Schedule of payments XX/XX/XXXX state SLM Corp as the lender the Addendum to the Note is not a contract under the HEA. The HEA state the Application and Promissory Note must be sign by the lender and borrower in the lender website? The HEA state electronic signature must be done in the lender website. So why did SLM Corp approve a Promissory Note not filled out in the SLM Corp Website? Since SLM Corp was established in XXXX how could they approve a Application FFLEP Consolidation and Promissory Note In XXXX? What was SLM Corp credit eligible-ability in XXXX? I need the additional documents and questions answered the police detective told me when I showed him your fake Note so they can write up there report and give there opinion for the Identity Theft Report. I need the documents and questions answered as soon as possible because under the FCRA Navient is reporting wrong.

Consumer Complaint: Navient has disabled my ability to login into my account online. I wanted to contact them to fix this issue and looked for an email to use. Their contact page only gives you phone numbers to call and no access to the email. It says " To email us, log in and access the Email Us feature in the Help Center. '' This is a sick attempt to force borrowers to have to use the phone. I dislike their attempts to force me to call. After reading about this issue that others have run into they were told by navient to make a new account. So I tried to register a new account but it brings me to a page that says I can not create a new account with one already existing and has 3 separate buttons to contact them but ALL of the buttons take me to error pages. The only pages in their sitemap not to work for me. Yet they still take out automated payments every month from my account. I want to pay a larger lump sum and try to negotiate a settlement over email and they won't even allow me the contact. This is very XXXX behavior.

Subissue: Trouble with how payments are being handled
Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/2020 I updated my preferences online for my two ( 2 ) consolidated loans with Navient. I indicated that I wanted any overpayment to go towards the balance on the loan with the lowest current balance. I made an auto-payment ( pushed from my bank account, was not made over the phone or auto-debit ) on XX/XX/2020, I looked online on XX/XX/XXXX to ensure payment was properly applied, it was not. Instead Navient pro-rated the payment across the 2 loans. I called to inquire, the rep said that I had a consolidated loan, even though I have 2 separate consolidated loans ( 2 separate current balances show with 2 seprate loan numbers ). She was able to go ahead and re-apply the overpayment to the correct loan. I inquired as to how to avoid that happening in the future, she indicated that I need to inform the rep when I call on the phone ( even though I informed her I did not make a payment via phone ). I asked what the point of having a " preference/payment direction '' of " overpayment toward lowest balance, '' she again repeated that I had a consolidated loan. At that point I realized she was going to argue in a circle. I ask to make a complaint and for the complaint department, she indicated there was no phone number and I would have to email as there was no complaint department.

Consumer Complaint: In 2006 sallie mae had split with Navient. Im somewhere in the middle, it considered federal FFELP but is private. Ive been unable to take advantage of the Pandemic assistance because of this. This whole time ive kept making my paymemts even though i am unemployed. For years Navient had steered me into Forbearance time and time again. Why am i not notified about income driven repayment. Because of the extra pandemic funds i want to settle this debt once and for all, i have had this student loan for 15 yrs. Why will they not settle? Im lead to speak to an attorney for student loans. I have no choice and want to limit further harrassment from Navient and multiple calls per day

Issue: Dealing with your lender or servicer
Subissue: Keep getting calls about your loan
Consumer Complaint: I had owed a private student loan through Navient ( at the time Sallie Mae ) and had unfortunately defaulted on it about 12 years ago. I never since made any payments and the statute of limitations for suing has passed. On top of that, I had a bankruptcy discharge in XXXX of 2016 which included everything that was eligible at that time including this loan. I all of the sudden am now getting calls constantly from a collection agency stating I am still responsible to pay this loan back. When they speak with me, they have used threatening language that I believe is attempting to trick me into renewing the statute of limitations and agreeing that I still have to pay this. I spoke with a supervisor a few weeks ago and she actually hung up on me when I told her that I do not owe this loan due to the bankruptcy. I want the harassing calls to stop.

Subissue: Trouble with how payments are being handled
Consumer Complaint: I am a current doctoral student studying in XXXX. I submitted the corresponding form that allows me to defer student loan payments, as my scholarship qualifies as a educational fellowship sponsored by the U.S. Department of State. I was informed by email that correspondence regarding the approval of this deferment request is available in my Navient inbox. However, the correspondence has not been updated in my inbox, even after XXXX weeks after being informed by email. I then called Navient and spoke with a student loan representative, who confirmed that the deferment request was approved and it will take time for my account to be updated with the new payment terms ( which, the representative confirmed should be {$0.00} from XXXX, 2020 ). I have since waited two weeks for my account to be updated and have not seen any changes. I have been billed XXXX 's bill as well, in addition to a late fee from XXXX because I did not pay, waiting for the bill to be adjusted. I do not know why Navient chooses to skip correspondence regarding these types of requests being approved, it almost seems they have an algorithm to pretend that these things be avoided so that students who are still undergoing education are continued to be billed.

Issue: Struggling to repay your loan
Subissue: Problem lowering your monthly payments
Consumer Complaint: I called Navient today to extend a program I was enrolled in called the Rate Reduction program. It basically lowered my payments and interest rate to be more affordable - I was paying around {$270.00} a month which was great. At the time I enrolled in XXXX of XXXX, I was told I could apply as many times as I needed to extend the program. I called today, XX/XX/XXXX, and the rug was pulled out from under me. I was told that based on my and my cosigners FICO scores that I was no longer eligible. I asked why, and they refused to tell me. I was told that they can not discuss MY credit report with ME. I asked for a supervisor, who told me the same and presented me with what she called interest only payments which were only {$45.00} less than my full monthly payment which makes absolutely no sense. I pressed and continued to ask why this was happening, telling them that I was told in XX/XX/XXXX I could extend the program as many times as I wanted. I was told nothing is guaranteed and all of my questions remained unanswered. They just kept telling me about the interest only program and to talk to my co-signer. I dont see why transparency would be refused if there was something completely legal and within the rights of the loan servicer that was the reason. I feel deliberately misled and taken advantage of and I do not understand how it is legal for these huge companies ( whose revenue was XXXX XXXX dollars in XXXX alone ) to abuse people in this way. I want answers.
