Consumer Complaint: I filed chapter XXXX bankruptcy last year. My private loan was listed as debt, discharged due to my circumstances at the time. I had the debt removed from my credit report only to have it reappear 18 months later and Navient attempting to restart payments. I have disputed it to have it removed and they continue to try to collect, calling multiple times per day, send mail and now reports to credit. I called them and notified them that it was discharged and they refused to do anything.

Consumer Complaint: Navinet has been my student loan servicer since XX/XX/XXXX since my loans were consolidated and rehabbed. There are multiple incorrect/ inconsistent late payments reporting across all 3 credit bureau with different balance and dates. Not only are the late payments incorrect, I have documentation that the account was supposed to be in forbearance or deferred at the time. The loans originated from XXXX College XXXX University which is closed now due to fraud so I am unable to get any information from the institution. XXXX had the loans first they are now involved in a lawsuit. A new class action claim that was filed on XX/XX/XXXX against Navient also included my some of the situations I've dealt with. I have reached out multiple times to try to correct my file with no action the last time was XX/XX/XXXX. Per FCRA this needs to be addressed it must be taken off my credit or adjusted.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX, I lost my job ( and only source of income ) for the third time in eight years. I had worked as a XXXX XXXX for six years and at a XXXX ( XXXX ) ( XXXX ) XXXX for five years between XXXX of XXXX and XXXX of XXXX. I had faithfully made payments for over ten years and was denied any student loan forgiveness. In fact, they initially REFUSED to allow me to even apply for it. I tried to file for a hardship forbearance and was denied. They claimed I didn't qualify. By winter XXXX, I was unable to continue making payments and stopped paying my monthly payment. In XX/XX/XXXX, I filed for bankruptcy and included them in the notification. I contacted them again to try and reduce my payments and they again refused. I was threatened that if I failed to make my payments, they would sue me and " take everything I have ''. In XXXX, I began making payments again and caught up on the payments I had missed by XXXX or XXXX of XXXX. I continued making my regular payments until XX/XX/XXXX after the CARES Act was passed. I made the XXXX payment and the day after my account showed zero interest, no payment being due, and that it was in forbearance. In XX/XX/XXXX, I began receiving calls, emails and bills from XXXX. Both the calls and the emails were flagged as a scam by the service carrier. In late XXXX, I noticed that my account still showed no payment was due but no longer showed it was in forbearance. I called to find out what had happened and was informed that my account was in default and that they have not received payments from me since XXXX XXXX.I asked them to check again because my last payment was in XXXX and they grudgingly admitted that they had received payments. However, as a " consequence '' of filing bankruptcy, my account was listed as in default. At no point did my account reflect that it was in default. I haven't received ANY notifications by mail or on their portal about being in default OR that they had sold my account to thugs licensed as XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX Spoke with Navient about the paperwork for a economic hardship forebearance. They told me that I do not qualify- even though I make a 1/3 of what I was making last year at this time and make less than {$2000.00} a month. They also told me that they do not figure in living expenses or other expenses when refinancing or lowering payments. Just what you make. I make too much to qualify for this this type of deferment ( according to them ) and might be able to get a 30 Day Disaster Forbearance in XXXX. I am unable, at this time, to work 40 hours a week and pay this loan ( I make {$31000.00} a year vs what I made last year : {$72000.00}. I am unsure of their qualifications for Economic Hardship.

Consumer Complaint: Under my total student loans there is one that has listed navient as one serving the loan. This loan states it was given in 2006. Although I did take loans in 2006 they have since been paid off. Since this time I have had to pay numerous times " outstanding balances '' to receive transcripts, enrolled at another college and again to reenroll again. The loan at one point affected my credit so badly, I was unable to rent an apartment while XXXX they were harassing me and threatening to garnish my wages if I did not paid them more then 60 % of my income I was making while XXXX I am currently looking to consolidate my loans again this particular loan states : they don't offer consolidate options because it is a private Stafford loan. I also requested promissory not and details regarding the loan that navient fails to provide me. It lists multiple places i had the loan in forbearance while I was in school or deferment ... .. none of which I agreed too. I was able to provide documentation that the debt was removed from one of.tye reporting agency 's and have recently disputed it in another credit agency. Most recently they are reporting that the loan is in default with credit agency 's and it is not on default not do I believethe loan is legit. I absolutely have student loans but this agency has mislead and lied to me regarding one of the loans. I would like the original loan reviewed, as all.my attempts to retrieve documentation regarding it have been unuccessfully.
