Consumer Complaint: On multiple occasions, I have attempted to contact NCS in order to resolve disputed charges. Every time I try to ask questions regarding the portion of the debt that I am disputing, the Collection Representative XXXX XXXX refuses to answer any questions about what documentation they will accept. He will then say that the conversation is over and hang up on me, or say I can talk to a supervisor and then hang up on me instead. This has happened every single time I have called them regarding my account. It is impossible to make any progress if they refuse to give me any information on what they will accept as proof of my claims.

Subissue: Didn't receive notice of right to dispute
Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, 2017 I received notification from the credit bureau about a past due balance of {$4200.00} for the breaking of a Lease by XXXX XXXX/ XXXX . I received no notification in the mail from either party. I received no right to dispute from the collection agency, and they immediately hit my credit. So I called the number listed on my credit report and spoke to a XXXX XXXX. After asking him to provide documentation of the debt, he raised his voice, told me I just do n't want to pay my debt and hung up on me. I called back and asked for his manager. She spoke to me in the same tone, however agreed to send me paperwork in the mail. Once I received the letter just stating the amount owed, paperwork from XXXX stating it would not be sent into collections until XX/XX/2017 ( paperwork which I have ) and a unsigned letter from XXXX stating the balance owed, I called XXXX XXXX back on XXXX XXXX,2017. I told him I will pay what I can when I received my bonus from work in XXXX. Flash forward to XXXX XXXX, 2017. I called XXXX XXXX to let him know I would be paying for the debt my next pay period with my bonus. He stated verbally the settlement amount was for {$2100.00}. XXXX XXXX called me on XXXX. I stated I would mail him a check for the amount of {$2100.00} and he told me that is no good. I have to pay by phone know in order to settle. That as of XXXX XXXX 2017 that settlement price may go up. I want to settle the account for the amount they told me and the only way I can pay is VIA check. I called back and paid and settled the debt. ( I have documentation. My credit should of never been hit. I have a letter from XXXX showing I had until XX/XX/2017 to pay the balance. It is now settled and it is still showing on my credit.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX XXXX, I decided to pull my credit report. I found that there was a debt listed from National Credit Systems in the amount of {$5200.00}. I disputed this with the credit bureaus and asked that they send me supporting documents as to why this debt is listed on my credit report. They responded by saying that the debt has been verified with no actual verification documents. I was simply confused because this is not my debt and I was not sure what to do. I finally looked at my credit report again and noticed it was from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and shows that the account was opened on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. I had just moved out of a property XXXX/XXXX/XXXX but this lease was under XXXX XXXX XXXX and NOT XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I moved out of XXXX XXXX XXXX on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX and signed a lease for my current residence on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. I moved out slowly and made sure the residence was in top shape before vacating. I have never broken a lease nor have I damaged any properties. I am not sure why XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and National Credit systems has this massive debt listed on my credit report but I would like it removed as soon as possible. I have attached for your convenience the notice to vacate receipt that was sent to me from XXXX XXXX XXXX, my lease renewal for my current residence showing when my lease first started, and a page of my credit report that shows this collection from the collection agency National Credit System and the original creditor XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I have tried to resolve a " debt '' that is supposedly mines with " National credit system '' I have been sending them letters to verify that I signed and owe them the alleged debt, however they still have not produced any information stating what debt I owe them. Now they have put this debt into collection on my personal credit and it is damaging my credit. I never gave them permission to run, use or verbal persmission to obtain my social security number and ever since they obtained my ssn I been going through a case of identify theft. I have been trying to communicate with this third party group since may timeframe giving them 30 days to resolve the issue. They have had the last 90 days to resolve this issue and since they ca n't comply with my request I am filing a complaint.
