Consumer Complaint: FromXX/XX/XXXXthrough XX/XX/XXXX I rented from XXXX XXXX paying XXXX monthly. Upon providing my 30 days notice in XX/XX/XXXX, I moved out on XX/XX/XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX I went to XXXX XXXX 's office in XXXX, Tn to return all keys and garage openers. I asked if anything else was needed, nothing more was needed and I scheduled to be present during the final inspection walk through. After the walk through with maintenance/inspector was complete, I called XXXX XXXX again and spoke with XXXX XXXX XXXX to ensure nothing was else was needed, I was told everything was complete and that my deposit would be mailed out to my new address. In late XX/XX/XXXXI received my entire deposit back in FULL to my new address that was provided. 9 months later : This year XX/XX/XXXXXXXXXX/XX/XXXX I started receiving calls from a collection agency ( NATIONAL CREDIT SYSTEMS ) stating that they were calling on the behalf of XXXX XXXX. The woman on the line stated that I owed XXXX XXXX {$90.00} in unpaid debt, I informed her that I would not speak to her regarding that matter because it could be a fraud to collect money. I contacted XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXXand was transferred to collections, after not being able to get through I left my name and phone number, and was informed that someone would call me back. After no response I called back on XX/XX/XXXX and was transferred to a voicemail again. No one EVER returned my call and the collection agency calls stopped as well. I thought it had to be a scam because I never heard from either party again. That is until XX/XX/XXXX a collection account from XXXX XXXX in the amount of {$90.00} was placed on my XXXX and XXXX report causing my credit score to drop drastically. I do not owe this debt, all debt was paid in full before I moved and my deposit was refunded back to me in full.

Consumer Complaint: The aforementioned credit collections agency National Credit Systems INC. representing XXXX XXXX apartments has violated the FCRA by not providing documents to me in regards to this debt. ( account number is XXXX in the amount of XXXX ) I am unaware of this debt, I have asked for validation of the debt owed as well as validation of contract and to no avail has the company provided me the necessary information requested in the allotted time. My first initial request for this information was XX/XX/XXXX never received anything pertaining to this debt. this account remained unverified and then on XX/XX/XXXXthe debt was removed from my account. However, upon checking my credit report XX/XX/XXXX I saw that said collection agency had placed collection account back on my credit report without proper notification of doing so I was completely unaware. By law they were to notify me within 5days which they did not! 15 U.S code 1681i-FCRA 611 ( a ) ( 5 ) ( B ) ( ii ) Notice to consumer : If any information that has been deleted from consumers file pursuant to subparagraph ( A ) is reinserted in file, the consumer reporting agency shall notify the consumer of the reinsertion in writing no later than 5 business days after reinsertion or, if authorized by consumer for that purpose, by any other means available to agency. Again, I reached out to said agency requesting information again and advising them that they were in violation of FCRA on XX/XX/XXXXXX/XX/XXXX the agency then removed the debt from my credit reports, but again without proper notice the account was then reinserted. I filed a complaint with the BBB onXX/XX/XXXX because of this violation ( case # XXXX ) and the company responded back that the account was not able to be located however said account is reflecting on all three credit reports. This account is unverified and immediately needs to be deleted from all credit filesXXXX, XXXX and XXXX. The business is require to disclose to me all of the documents that they recorded and retained in their files that pertains to this " Debt '' and they failed to do so in the allotted time, National credit System has violated FCRA in more than one way and needs to retract this from my credit file immediately!! Thank you.

Consumer Complaint: I have recently discovered what credit is and what it does for your life. Unfortunately, I do n't have good credit bc someone has run up utility bills, medical bills, and apartment collection. Someone had broken into my car a few years back and stole passport and wallet. When I call these places, i get treated like a criminal and just said forget it. I ' assuming this is associated with my information being leaked for all of XXXX area to see. I 've since calmed down. I desperately need to update and clear off what is not mine and began a new life after my divorce. The police really could n't help nor did they care to but I got some valuable information about the process with the federal trade commission. I intend to see this through until the bitter end. National Credit Systems is reporting a debt that is not mine, and I 've made several attempts to get this handheld to no avail

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX I spoke with a representative at ext. 101 from National Credit Systems about settling the debt owed by a former apartment complex where I resided. The initial settlement offer was {$850.00} and I was waiting for approval so I could clear my debt. On XXXX, I received a call stating that the offer had been refused and I now have to pay {$1300.00}. Also, they would submit documentation stating to the credit bureaus to remove the negative item. As I went to accept the offer, I asked if they could provide a statement in writing. I explained to her that I did not feel comfortable paying {$1300.00} with no documentation. The rep refused. She exclaimed that they will never send any documentation and there is no reason to even go back and forth about it. Now I am stuck with this negative remark on my credit report and no way to dispute it.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, the XXXX XXXX apartment complex in XXXX, Arizona, was contacted by my boyfriend ( who was co-resident of XXXX XXXX, apartment number XXXX ) to dispute charges that were billed to us and were not appropriate. ( XXXX XXXX stated we owed {$190.00} for a smoke smell, a broken light bulb, and miscellaneous utility fees. We contact them to dispute these charges and have the bill reassessed. My boyfriend nor I smoke. Some of our neighbors do and the smoke smell would travel through the vents from time to time into our apartment. The broken light bulb is something they would have fixed for free if we requested it, however, we didnt even know about it. Im unsure how we could have been charged utility fees if we had already vacated the property by the time this bill was sent to us. ) The email my boyfriend sent was immediately dismissed with a reply that said another person would be the one to contact. This other person replied that she would forward our inquiry to the Assistant Manager of XXXX XXXX. We were under the impression this matter would be reviewed and we were awaiting a response, as well as a recalculation of the bill to equal {$0.00}. However, we never received a response and we were not contacted in any other way by XXXX XXXX after that email from this other person ( sent XX/XX/XXXX ). XXXX XXXX has sent these fees to a collection office with only my name on it, and with my boyfriends private residential address. ( I dont know if this is worth mentioning, but it seems strange to me : We were both on the lease at XXXX XXXX, but the debt is only assigned to me. Moreover, I provided an official change of address to the USPS on XX/XX/XXXX. That address is different from my boyfriends private address. ) The collection company is called National Credit Systems , Inc . I emailed them on XX/XX/XXXX to indicate I have received their letter ( although I received it late because it was not sent to the correct address as stated above ). I also explained to them the lack of communication with XXXX XXXX and how we were awaiting a reply to our inquiry and reassessment of the bill. Today is XX/XX/XXXX and I have not received an acknowledgement of any kind from the collection office nor XXXX XXXX who I CCd on the email. All emails are attached to this complaint. Furthermore, an amount of {$150.00} was taken out of my account on XX/XX/XXXX for a cleaning fee. ( However, the details on the transaction do not have my name on it, which is another odd thingmy boyfriends name is on it. It was my check that I presented at the time of paying for this fee. ) It should be noted that I willingly paid this fee because I was told it would be the best option to avoid any other fees upon moving out. However, that is obviously not the case. There are also other people who have left comments about being charged fees unfairly on XXXX reviews under the XXXX XXXX company profile. I have no way of contacting them, due to some restrictions from XXXX, to ask for advice on how to handle this matter. I hope there can be a resolution to this. Thank you.

Consumer Complaint: I filed a complaint on XX/XX/XXXX against National Credit Systems for trying to collect on a debt that I do not owe. The collection company is alleging that I owe a debt that they are collecting on. I have disputed it several times but they keep verifying it. I requested debt validation and they sent me a statement. A statement is not debt validation. I requested a signed contract or legal document with my signature stating that I agree to pay their company. When they responded to my previous dispute, they stated that the property manager emailed them and said that I was an applicant and that I placed a stop payment on the checks that I allegedly paid with. I believe that information is false. Their response also " respectfully requests the XXXX XXXX sends them additional information so that they can do further research ''. I know no one by that name and believe that their response was a blanket response to their complaints. On XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX XXXX, I went to the said property and spoke with XXXX. She searched their system and could not find a XXXX XXXX as an applicant or a resident. Her number is XXXX and fax # XXXX.
