Subissue: Attempted to collect wrong amount
Consumer Complaint: I received my credit report in XXXX of XXXX and noticed this collection agency called NATLCRSYS were trying to collect a debt from me for an unknown source called XXXX XXXX. I had no knowledge of this account that stated it was a collection of $ 1,000+. I attempted to dispute this debt in form of receiving VERIFICATION from this agency showing my signature on a contract where I agreed to owe this amount at any point in time. They have constantly updated this account on my credit report and closing the dispute without ever sending me verification of this account and the proof of how it is my debt. This has been going on since XXXX of XXXX. I would like to have this account deleted and removed from my account because it is not my debt to collect.

Issue: Attempts to collect debt not owed
Subissue: Debt was result of identity theft
Consumer Complaint: This is a complaint against NATIONAL CREDIT SYST. I have been a victim of identity theft for two years and my XXXX credit report shows an open account without my permission, without my authorization but this is not the worst thing is that it was opened without number of Social Security that is not mine, so what is this abuse and lack of respect, the bad work that your department does to report to an agency a fraudulent account in my credit report.

Issue: Improper use of your report
Subissue: Reporting company used your report improperly
Consumer Complaint: National Credit Systems Inc has reported a collection account against my social security number and I never authorized the use of my personal information to this company nor have I ever received any services from this company. This business holds no legally binding contract with me that obligates me to pay for any sort of alleged debt. I disputed the accuracy of this account and they keep sending it back as verified. National credit systems has YET to send me any type of adequate proof that shows me agreeing to pay them. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and National credit systems responded that they were acting on behalf of another creditor, but 73 American Jurisprudence ( AmJur ) 2nd, Sect. 93 states " The right of subrogation does not exist for a stranger to the transaction. '' It 's illegal to act as a substitute to a contract that they were never apart of. National credit systems is in violation of the law, the FCRA, and the FDCPA. FDCPA Section 805 ( b ) says : COMMUNICATION WITH THIRD PARTIES. -- Except as provided in Section 804, without the prior consent of the consumer given directly to the debt collector, or the express permission of a court of competent jurisdiction, or as reasonably necessary to effectuate a postjudgment judicial remedy, a debt collector may not communicate, in connection with the collection of any debt, with any person other than the consumer, his attorney, a consumer reporting agency if otherwise permitted by law, the creditor, the attorney of the creditor, or the attorney of the debt collector. This inaccurate information was reported to the three major reporting bureaus without my consent. FCRA Section. 604 says : 604. Permissible purposes of consumer report a ) In general. Subject to subsection ( c ), any consumer reporting agency may furnish a consumer report under the following circumstances and no other : ( 3 ) To a person which it has reason to believe ( F ) [ otherwise ] has a legitimate business need for the information ( i ) in connection with a business transaction that is initiated by the consumer ; or ( ii ) to review an account to determine whether the consumer continues to meet the terms of the account. National credit systems has not been in any connection or listed on any contract signed by me and they refuse to properly validate this inaccurate information. Until a contract ( original contract ) is produced with my signature between national credit systems inc and myself, this information must be deleted.

Consumer Complaint: I have a collection from National Credit Systems which I have tried to contact them concerning this multiple times and I have received no response. They are trying to collect on an apartment that lived at, XXXX at XXXX XXXX. The problem is that I was the only person on the lease and the only person that lived there. I was being stalked by a very crazy guy and filed multiple police reports against him and made the apartment complex aware of the situation. I also provided them with copies of the police reports. The apartment complex refused to let me out of my lease or allow me to move to another section. As I was in fear of my life I moved out of the apartment but paid the last months rent so that I would not have a broken lease on my credit report. After giving notice, returned all keys and moving out he broke in one night and completely vandalized the apartment. I have multiple pictures and police reports, his name, screen shot text messages with him saying he did it all the proof proving it was not me, even proof as to where he broke off the back door to get inside the apartment. The front office was aware of who did it but since I was the only person on the lease I got charged. I tried to contact the apartment to make payment arrangements for the damages, even though I do n't feel responsible, but they continued to ignore me.

Issue: Communication tactics
Subissue: Frequent or repeated calls
Consumer Complaint: There was more than repeated calling taking place in my situation. I work over night so I sleep during the day and I keep my phone in 'do not disturb ' mode so that my phone wo n't ring unless it is an emergency. Consecutive calls will override the silencing function and cause any repeat calls from the same caller to ring out. In stead of leaving a message in my voice mail, National Credit Systems would place consecutive calls to me so that my phone would ring and wake me up. They would call me from varying numbers with a XXXX area code. I did n't recognize the number and I was trying to sleep so I did not answer their calls until XX/XX/XXXX when they had finally called me during a time when I was awake. I spoke with XXXX XXXX on that day and she told me she had calls and spoken with me on XX/XX/XXXX around XXXX XXXX and that, on that date, I told her I would pay the debt I allegedly owed them on XX/XX/XXXX. She told me that the debt I owed was an unpaid balance from an apartment I had rented with two other people back in XX/XX/XXXX. I told her I had no knowledge of the debt and that when I vacated the apartment in XX/XX/XXXX my balance was paid in full. XXXX XXXX then became angry and essentially accused me of lying about not knowing about the debt because she had a note on the account that she herself spoke with me on XX/XX/XXXX around XXXX at my phone number. She began to threaten to mark the account as a refusal to pay if I did n't give her payment information at that very moment. I told her again I had no knowledge of the debt and that I had no knowledge of the debt but that only caused her to become more angry. To calm her, I told her I would contact my ex roommates for her and have them call her since she had claimed to have been unsuccessful in her attempts contacting them herself. She agreed to hold off on marking the account as a refusal to pay while i attempted to contact my ex roommates. My one roommate posted a payment a little later in the day after speaking with XXXX XXXX and her supervisor, a male whose name I do not know. Before that roommate contacted XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX I checked my phone records for the day she claims to have spoken with me and I found that there was a call received by my phone on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX but the call was not answered. I had called her back requesting to hear the recording she claimed to have of the conversation with me on that day but she refused to let me listen to it without a subpoena. I terminated the call, contacted the roommate and informed him about what had just taken place, then I immediately contacted a law firm that specializes in these matters. I could only get a receptionist and I am currently waiting for one of the attorneys to return the message I left with the receptionist. In addition to the above offenses, I never received any written notification of any funds owed and am still unsure exactly what they were claiming I was liable for.

Consumer Complaint: National Credit Systems has failed to provide itemized documentation for the account that is listed on my credit report. The last activity on this account was XX/XX/XXXX and for the state of TN the statue of limitations is 6 years. I want this account removed immediately. I have repeatedly disputed this account over the years and it always comes back verified without documentation being provided to me. I was denied a job due to this one and only collection on my whole report. I 'm not able to qualify for a mortgage loan as well until this is rectified. I need this corrected as soon as possible. I recently disputed this via XXXX and it came back on the XX/XX/XXXX day as verified again.
