Consumer Complaint: Hello, On XX/XX/XXXX i sent an email over to the property manager, stating i will be moving out. My lease was fully signed for the new complex. Due to the pandemic the leasing office was closed. I was instructed to send an email to the main office, and they will attach it to my account. Nothing was ever done and about 4 months later i received an invoice saying i owe a balance that i didn't owe. I need to speak to whom ever to help me get this off my credit. I have exhausted all my resources and this is unfair and blocking me from moving again. someone please help me please

Consumer Complaint: This debt has to do with an apartment lease that the apartment complex broke in XX/XX/2020. A company that buys debt from apartment companies called National Credit Systems has posted this debt on my XXXX Credit report has described the debt as " XXXX at XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX '' and listed the debt amount as {$2500.00} I was current on my lease, reported my HVAC unit had broken in the middle of the summer on a Friday afternoon and even though the apartment complex had an after hours repair people, they did not fix my HVAC system until the following Monday. As they had broken the terms of the lease agreement and after that, I could not depend on them to honor the terms of the lease, I moved out before the end of the lease as the lease was, at that point, invalid.
