Please note that this is NOT a refusal to pay, but rather a NOTICE being dated XX/XX/XXXX, ; a. ) You have received this NOTICE in compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, 15 USC 1692g Sec. 809, about the above-mentioned account. Consumer Complaint: Firstly, according to court order the actual owed amount was a little over 2 grand and they sent me to collections for XXXX grand. The debt is from 2015, meaning the 7 year line has nearly hit. Since about 3 months ago they have repeatedly removed and re-sent me to collections making my credit score fluctuate. This is only to XXXX, I have disputed on XXXX off the basis it was removed from XXXX which is what I believe started this. They have also called family members not involved with this debt and sent mail to every address I had prior and after the debt.

Consumer Complaint: I found out on XX/XX/22 I was a victim of identity theft bc leasing consultant at XXXX by the name of ( XXXX XXXX ) contacted/XXXX the address on my ID. Because the person pretending to be me was caught in a lie about rather the address was a house or apartment complex. XXXX tells the purp that on the ID it says apartment # XXXX and the phone disconnects. XXXX finds the apartment complex on my ID and calls them to verify the information on the application and ID. I only find out what was going on bc my sister whose address ( XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX ) was faced with a 7 day eviction notice. Once that happened her boyfriend contacted me to let me know whats going on in XXXX XXXX, Fl. Once I found out I went to XXXX twice to meet law enforcement to file a report of Identity theft. XXXX gave her account to Sheriff Officer XXXX and so did I. When it comes to these apartment complexes they are just placing debts on peoples accounts rather they verified it wasnt you or not! They dont care they only care about revenue that was never theirs to begin with I never lived at any of the places that are on my account none of this is falls under fair credit anything far as I know I never been a victim of identity theft and have to go through so much to get these false reports off after they knew it wasnt me. They have my social and ID not bc I gave it to them now theyre trying to hold me responsible for the debt to be paid.. In what world are we in??

Consumer Complaint: According to this invoice I was charge twice for the month of XXXX and a reletting fee. The amount owed is incorrect/fraudulent and would like National Credit Systems , I to remove this collection from all three credit bureaus XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX XXXX XXXX The amount and dates Im referring to is XX/XX/2019 for {$890.00} and XX/XX/2019 for {$890.00} plus the reletting fee {$760.00} on XX/XX/2019, also showing a balance of {$940.00} XX/XX/2019. Under state rental law a leasing property can not charge rent twice in one month and a reletting fee. Furthermore, the amount of {$35.00} were added for XXXX XXXX, and {$25.00} for XXXX XXXX which should have not been billed because the reletting fee of {$760.00}. Reletting Expenses means all costs and expenses incurred by Landlord in connection with the reletting of the Premises following a default by Tenant, including, without limitation, the expenses of obtaining possession of the Premises, the costs of cleaning, renovation, and repairs.

Consumer Complaint: I was notified on Friday, XX/XX/2021, that there would be people walking around that would be doing an inspection of my apartment. This inspection came as a result of my neighbor in apartment XXXX having pipes burst caused by the unexpected winter storm. Upon leaving my apartment, the inspector made it clear that the apartment was unlivable. They marked off several walls with blue tape indicating that they needed to be taken down for repair, and a dehumidifier was placed in my apartment. On Saturday, another dehumidifier was placed in my apartment in addition to a floor plan of my apartment taped to the front door. The floor plan showed all of the areas of repair that needed to occur. I called Friday XX/XX/2021, Saturday XX/XX/2021, Monday XX/XX/2021, and Tuesday XX/XX/2021 to speak with XXXX XXXX in an effort to find out what exactly was going on as well as what the expected resolution would be. I made the leasing representative aware that we had XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and have documentation from the XXXX XXXX. I was told on 3 days out of the 4 days I called that my name was not on the list of affected apartments. I made it clear that I wanted to get ahead of what may come. I had turned in my intent to vacate the apartment prior to these findings with no response from the leasing office. Upon speaking to XXXX on Tuesday, XX/XX/2021, she indicated that she was made aware of my intent. XXXX offered to move me to another apartment as my lease was up in XXXX. I expressed that since my apartment became unlivable, I wished to terminate my lease. XXXX indicated that I still needed to pay for XXXX lease. However, upon conducting necessary research, I have been made aware that is not correct. According to, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, You can terminate your lease Before you stop paying rent, you must give your landlord written notice that you are canceling your lease because your unit is no longer livable due to damage caused by a disaster. If you need help writing your notice of termination letter, you can contact your local Legal Aid, Texas Legal Aid, or another legal support organization for help. Make sure you send your letter by certified mail, return receipt requested, registered mail, or delivered in person to provide a record of them receiving the letter. You are entitled to your deposit and prorated rent. Once your lease is terminated you are entitled to a prorated refund of rent from the day you move out. You are also entitled to the return of your security deposit, minus legal deductions for normal wear and tear. Make sure your landlord has your forwarding address. Your landlord can offer you an undamaged unit to move into. If your landlord has an undamaged unit that they own, they can make it available for you to move into. If you choose to move into another unit your landlord owns, the terms of your current lease will apply. They can not make you sign a new lease. Your landlord can not make you move into another one of their units. Based on the provided information, I provided the adequate notification that was required. My information was sent to a creditor after I was billed over {$3000.00} for insufficient notice fees and early termination even though XXXX knew that I could not stay in my unit. I was cooperative with the national credit systems investigation, but XXXX refused to be compliant. As a result of their noncompliance XXXX decided to send my information to an attorney to try to collect money that was not genuinely owed to them. I cooperated with the attorneys investigation of the events as well. XXXX XXXX gave several different reasons as to why they said that I owe the charges none of which recognize the winter storm. I have in my possession photos and videos as well as two recorded conversations with the manager XXXX XXXX. The recorded phone calls prove that I was not responsible for any of the charges that XXXX has placed on my credit. The only thing I old was {$50.00} for some scratches on the wall what should have been taken from my deposit. I was not given my deposit back, I was not given prorated rent, and they have continuously lied about the charges on my credit file. I did speak to an attorney over at XXXX XXXX XXXX and he said that I follow the proper steps and protocol the next step would be small claims court. I am trying to avoid going to court as I do have to work and they should have been resolved a long time ago.

I did not receive any notice to dispute or pay directly to them via email, mail, or phone call since I had to move immediately. I would have paid XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX directly since they charged me for not making the rent until they found a replacement renter which I also knew nothing about.
