Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX The property by the name of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX violated not only my financial rights but also my personal rights. They removed my personal property from my apartment which was the direct cause of many of my items being stolen. We were not in violation of the eviction notice as it was sent out that same day. Which means we still had XXXX hours to pay. I have engaged in disputes with this company many of times over the years because of this but they are not attempting to make this fair. The agency is also reporting the collection account each month without my prior consent. Also, I did not receive a letter of notification of this debt. I request that these accounts be removed immediately due to a violation of the fair credit reporting act.

I disputed the account and XXXX was the only XXXX to remove. I then sent a debt validation letter to said company on XXXX XXXX and my XXXX day notice to vacate form from said apartment complex and after not receiving any answer, I sent another debt validation letter and the vacate form again on XX/XX/XXXX to which National Credit System refused to answer again. Consumer Complaint: I am writing to you regarding the security deposit in the amount of {$2900.00} that was paid for the lease, signed on XX/XX/2019. Several months after terminating my lease, I received a collection claim from National Credit System. National Credit system has not provided me with an itemized breakdown of the outstanding claim. This was surprising, given that that a representative from the management office at my prior residency recently indicated to me that a claim was filed and paid with an insurance provider " XXXX. '' Furthermore, this representative indicated to me that there should not have been any effect on my credit as no collection were filed against my account. The debt collector has refused to remove this item despite my submission of numerous documents objecting to the balance. The outstanding balance on the account is ~ {$1300.00} and per my recollection, a {$3000.00} deposit was paid, which should have offset my outstanding balance. Unfortunately, the management office of my prior landlord has misplaced my security deposit. XXXX has, instead, sent me a copy of a surety bond that appears to not be in my name.

Consumer Complaint: An apartment complex sued my wife and I because rent was received via overnight mail 1 day late. The amount due was {$5.00}. They sued us for possession and received a judgment on XX/XX/XXXX in the amount of {$3400.00}. We found out a few months later that XX/XX/XXXX NATIONAL CREDIT SYSTEM XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX GA XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX placed the judgment on my credit in the amount of {$9400.00}. When we contacted them and advised 1. we never received notification of the debt as we were in the process of negotiating the amount with XXXX, the actual company that received the judgment. 2. there was no justification of the amount reported that was nearly triple the judgment amount. The company advised we received notification of the debt or how else could we contact them. I was notified when checking my credit. There is no way they could have received and validated the debt in 30 days from the actual judgment when we would have been given 30 days alone to validate it. We were not given anything. They also advised if we have a judgment we know we owe them money but again the dispute is for the amount. They continue to validate the amount without providing any proof of the amount or that they are legally able to collect as the amount supposedly includes the judgment to XXXX but they are reporting the creditor as XXXX XXXX which no longer exists. There is nothing accurate or legal about the way this debt is being handled. The collection agency is conflating the amount they claim we owe with the amount of the judgment by pretending they're 2 separate amounts but reporting an amount that clearly includes the amount of the judgement along with the additional yet inexplicable inflated amount.

I do not owe this debt. despite me disputing it, they still reported it to credit bureas on XXXX XXXX ( got Two letters back to back from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Received notification from credit bureaus this week that i have a negative account on there. Called and spoke to XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX around XXXX AM EST but she insists that she is allowed to report it. Per the FDCPA, They can not dispute a disputed debt until they satisfy all components of my dispute. My dispute included for them to Verify debt, verify company, send last billing statement, original contract and all payments made regarding that contract, and to verify that they are a licensed debt collector in michigan. Despite me saying all this, she still said that wont stop them from reporting it ( I.E threatening to report to credit an unverified debt ) Didnt care to take tracking number, sent me to supervisor who did not answer. This company is acting illegally when it comes to collecting/reporting.
