Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Personal information incorrect
Consumer Complaint: I am writing to formally complain about the inaccurate and outdated information that LexisNexis continues to report on my consumer credit report, despite my repeated attempts to rectify the situation. I initially contacted LexisNexis through written correspondence on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX, requesting corrections to be made to my credit report. Unfortunately, the issues persist, and I am deeply concerned about the impact this has on my creditworthiness. The inaccuracies in my LexisNexis report are twofold. Firstly, the report contains outdated addresses and phone numbers, some of which date back over XXXX years, or are entirely unrelated to me. I have not resided at these locations or used these phone numbers for an extended period, and it is imperative that this outdated information be removed from my report promptly. Secondly, my name, which I have previously requested to be corrected, still appears incorrectly. I have submitted copies of my state ID and social security documents that clearly display my correct name and address. Despite providing this evidence, my name remains inaccurate on my LexisNexis credit report, which further jeopardizes my ability to access credit and financial services. I understand the importance of accurate credit reporting, and I expect that LexisNexis, as a consumer reporting agency, will adhere to the regulations and guidelines set forth by the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ). It is vital for my financial well-being that my credit report reflects only accurate and up-to-date information. I kindly request the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau 's assistance in investigating this matter and ensuring that LexisNexis promptly corrects the inaccuracies in my credit report, specifically : Removal of outdated addresses and phone numbers. Correction of my name to match the information provided in my state ID and social security documents. I would appreciate your prompt attention to this issue, as it directly affects my ability to access essential financial services. Please inform me of any steps taken or any additional information needed to resolve this matter as soon as possible. Thank you for your assistance in addressing this concern. I eagerly await your response and resolution to this matter. Sincerely, [ Your Name ].

Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Public record information inaccurate
Consumer Complaint: LexisNexis failed to update their erroneous driving record report after repeated attempts to contact them which led to denial of insurance from multiple companies that use their services. They are next to impossible to contact in person, and when you do finally contact someone, all they do is tell you to upload more personal records. The type of personal information that LexisNexis asks you to submit over the phone to a foreign call center is extremely disturbing and should not be allowed as it creates another identity theft breach point. The failure of LexisNexis to correct this issue in a timely manner has led to personal financial loss for me.
