Consumer Complaint: I have been working with Lexis Nexis since XXXX, XXXX to dispute a couple items on my file, as of today they are still not resolved however, yesterday I reached out to Lexis Nexis yesterday XX/XX/2023 and was on a recorded line and was told that now I have someone else 's social security number coming up on my account. I spoke with two of the customer service employees at two separate times yesterday on a recorded line in which they both confirmed that I have two socials security numbers on my account. I could see if the issue was in the last four of the SS number but it's the whole SS number. My number begins with ( XXXX ) and the wrong one on my account is ( XXXX ). This is hurting my credit severely. I can not apply for an apartment, am having to stay with family because of this. The person that has the ( XXXX ) SS number has a bankruptcy on their account which is hurting me as well. Also, there is another bankruptcy that is hurting my credit that lexis nexis continues to tell me that they verified it to be in my name but my attorney has sent a letter to lexis nexis explaining that this needs to be DELETED IMMEDIATELY off of my credit report because of the inaccurate information being reported is hurting me. There, I am demanding this be cleaned up ASAP. I do NOT have time to keep waiting 30 days at a time for lexis nexis to keep doing this to me. My entire credit report is a mess at this point. I have worked on this for almost four months. Enough is enough and this needs to be resolved NOW!!! If needed I do have the recorded conversation with lexis nexis explaining that there is in fact an additional SS number on my account that I can send to you. Also, XXXX has sent me a letter explaining that the SS number on my account is not the one they have on my file. As for thr one bankruptcy Lexis Nexis stated on a recorded line that the Co. courts reported a bankruptcy on my account but the court clerk explained that they do not report so again inaccurate information is being reported to my file.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023, I called XXXX to follow up on an existing dispute to have a bankruptcy removed from my credit file. This may be my XXXX complaint to expediate the process. Upon awaiting results of this outcome to apply for funding ; so that, I do not receive a high interest from my application. As well as contacting LexisNexis about this situation. LexisNexis buys information from databases, and executes without a individual 's consent. Our court systems do not report this type of information to credit reporting bureaus. This was processed without my consent ; in which, it should not have placed on my credit report. As quick as it took to make it effective - I expect the same result in removing the information. Specialists are informing me over the phone that it remains on the file for 10 years. No, that is for someone who is not familiar with the laws involving FCRA, FTC, US Codes, and more. Now we have entered in violating my privacy right ( s ).
