Consumer Complaint: Date of Service : XX/XX/XXXX Date of Service : XX/XX/XXXX I have two medical bills that have recently hit my credit report. I have been going back and forth with the collection agency and the original creditor. I spoke with the hospital in which services were received. They stated I owe a XXXX $ balance on both bills as I was covered under the XXXX XXXX program. I spoke with these agencies XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX and again as of this date XX/XX/XXXX. The hospital and insurance company have both verified with me this debt was paid in full and I have no obligation to this debt. I contacted the agency and oringial creditor in regards to this matter. They requested documentation. I contacted the facility back where treatment was performed due to XXXX XXXX. The facility mailed me itemized statements showing a breakdown of what was billable and what was not. I spoke again with the creditor on XX/XX/XXXX and was told this will not be documentation that allows them to remove this collection. The facility and insurance company suggested this is all they could provide. I can not get this debt removed.

Consumer Complaint: This debt collector engaged in abusive, deceptive, and unfair practices of the FDCPA which it prohibits. They furnished this account that we didnt agree upon and I didnt sign an agreement on. A legal contract is signed by two parties and I did not participate in any of it. More so they didnt follow the proper 5 step validation procedure which make this unfair practices.

Consumer Complaint: I left Illinois the last week of XX/XX/XXXX. I had a prepaid account with XXXX and I returned my equipment and signed a cancellation form on or about XX/XX/XXXX, before a new month/bill was due. They neglected to process the paperwork in a timely manner and want me to pay for a month of service I never received. I disputed this account on my credit report last year with XXXX and now it's shown up again as a collection account almost two years later. I C System in the amount of {$130.00}. It's not a matter of being able to pay, it's the principle of the matter, especially since they are a horrid company I had to deal with for years.

Issue: Attempts to collect debt not owed

Consumer Complaint: The issue seems to be that IC Systems claims that I owe XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX an amount of XXXX. IC Systems also made a delinquent remark on my credit report. When I requested them details and breakdown of amount and my permission for services solicited IC Systems never provided it. Instead they said I had paid it and closed the delinquency charge but left it showing as delinquent for XXXX months. When I stated that I had not paid a single penny and why they closed it and left it as delinquent for XXXX months they re-opened on the outstanding amount. XXXX does not allow for the website to allow for reopening the dispute. So I had to call them and manually open a dispute. My chief complaint with IC Systems is that they have not provided me with details of delinquency charges but continue to report it. I have contacted them in writing and they have not responded. I received a call from IC Systems using a number " XXXX '' and spoke to XXXX. She asked me if I was disputing the debt I said yes. I also informed her that I had requested details of the debt and my authorization and for proof of having requested the service she/or XXXX claimed XXXX me. I have had no documented proof of the same either from IC Systems or XXXX. I also informed her that despite me not having paid any amount the debt was flagged as paid, closed. This is incorrect and paints my credit in a bad light. She then offered to settle the 'outstanding " debt for half the amount. I said I would not pay a single penny until I see proof of my authorization for services they ( XXXX and or IC Systems ) claim I requested. She mumbled some response that I was not able to comprehend. I also asked her how can they mark it as Paid when I had not paid any amount. If I had paid as IC Systems says then why are they demanding half the amount as per the recorded call. She said they will leave it like that and IC Systems would not take further action. I request that CFPB request them for proof of the transaction or remove any mention of debt or collection. In summary I have requested in writing and orally proof of details of the debt being claimed and they are not providing the same. As a honest citizen please assist me in getting assistance to resolve this matter. Thank you. XXXX XXXX XXXX : My letters to IC System are enclosed.
