Consumer Complaint: Hi, I've tried to fix this false reporting with XXXX and XXXX last month and they didn't update the late payment I had. I need this last payment/debt collection that is being reporting on XX/XX/2022 to be update I was never late. I have attached the letter I sent them, and they have no proof of this error they are reporting. This has dramatically affected my life and has me getting denied for cars and apartments. Which has me homeless and car less. I need this fixed asap.

Consumer Complaint: Looked at my credit report XXXX a collection for {$1300.00} from I C system the debt trying to collect is not me I had XXXX / XXXX XXXX in XXXX moved to mobile in XXXX no social security number is required when opening the account therefore someone with same name had the account an it was tracked to me since I had service with the XXXX plus years ago I've requested a contract or something with my signature to verify the information & nothing was presented to me I C system never contacted me or sent a letter to me to for me to ask them for verification of the debt. Ok don't need to see a typed copy with just my name on it saying it's my debt I requesting a contract with my signature in pen ink saying I signed for the service if not please asking to remove the debt from my report

Consumer Complaint: Fraud has been committed on my Consumer Report which violates the FCRA and FDCPA. I. C. System, Inc. is using extortion means to collect an alleged that I do not owe that resulted from extension of credit which violates Title 18 United States code 892-894 and constitutes racketeering activities and extortion. This is a notice sent per the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act the ( F.D.C.P.A. ) 15 U.S.C. 1692 ( G ) section 809 ( B ). This notice states that your claim is disputed and the validation of the account is required *purchase agreement* Evidence that you are a licenseded debt collector *Chain of Title* Proof your are license to collect a United states debt and enjoy it *A requested copy of your State Department of Commerce and Insurance Certificate . Consumer Complaint: My wife and I are currently in the process of purchasing a home. On XX/XX/XXXX I was notified by my loan officer that there was a {$200.00} debt in collections attached to my credit report. The debt collector is IC System. Being this is the first time I have heard of this debt I was confused. The debt was placed in collections by XXXX XXXX for allegedly failing to return cable boxes to the company after selling a property they provided service for. The home was sold in XX/XX/XXXX. Being this home is a vacation rental, the cable boxes were actually transferred to the new owners to avoid service interruption. My issue is that there was no communication sent to either myself or my wife notifying us that XXXX still believes there is a debt. Spectrum failed to communicate the issue and IC System also failed to communicate the issue. I spoke to an IC System representative on XX/XX/XXXX to discuss their process. The rep said phone calls were made to my cell phone number and also my wife 's cell phone number. She confirmed that the phone calls do in fact show up as " XXXX '' on the call ID and that they do not leave voicemails of any kind. How is a consumer supposed to be notified of an issue or even think the issue is legit if no call back message is left or even instructions on who to contact to settle the debt? The rep also said XXXX letter was mailed to our primary residence in XX/XX/XXXX stating the debt issue. It was confirmed by the rep that the letter was not certified and there is no means to actually verify that we received it, which we did not. The {$200.00} is irrelevant. With proper notification it would have been settled. My XXXX is that my credit score has dropped from XXXX to XXXX for a debt that I was unable to resolve because of poor communication. Since my credit score has dropped so much I am now being offered second tier mortgage interest rates instead of the best rates on the market. The home we are currently purchasing is nearly $ XXXX. Even a XXXX basis point change in my mortgage interest rate will cost me hundreds of thousands of dollars over the life of the loan. It is extremely frustrating. I was told by the IC rep that even if I paid off the debt my credit score still probably won't return to it's rightful level in the immediate future. The entire process conducted by both XXXX and IC Systems feels predatory and illegal from every angle. Any help is greatly appreciated on how to proceed. Thank you

Consumer Complaint: In the past XXXX we have moved into several different rental properties. Each time, we returned our cable internet equipment per the agreement. We noticed that the branch office where we were returning equipment was becoming increasingly defunct and disorganized, each time becoming more and more frustrated with their services. Each time we returned equipment, we were told that all we needed to do was leave it with the customer service employee at the front counter and every single time we did. Over the past XXXX years, XXXX XXXX has attempted to report a debt on my credit report to XXXX. The other credit reporting agencies will not accept their request because it clearly lacks sufficient basis in fact for reporting. Yet, XXXX repeatedly allows this vague report of my credit as a collection. XXXX has been repeatedly told and warned that the debt they are claiming has no basis in fact yet they continue to report the debt to my XXXX ( only ) credit. The collection agency has also been repeatedly warned and told that the debt is not legitimate. I do not owe them any money for any equipment or any services and any claim that I do based on the incompetence of their employees is absurd. If the equipment is lost, it was lost in their possession not mine. Consumers have no use for cable internet equipment after the service has discontinued.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX fraudulently added charges to my phone bill. We had a total of 5 phones 2 for myself 2 for my fiance at the time at 1 for her XXXX XXXX XXXX daughter. The XXXX XXXX XXXX became defiant and moved out so we suspended the line and XXXX guarantee we wouldn't have to pay any charges for voice services on equipment charges. We paid paid all of our phones off and when it was time to renew our contract we decided to go with XXXX instead of XXXX due to us moving to a new city and XXXX had better coverage. We paid our entire bill and phone on the same day located XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX # XXXX. Sometime later I received a call from XXXX saying we still owed them and we know we paid our entire bill. So i asked for a breakdown of charges. The lady proceeded to tell me that when we ended our contract with XXXX that the line that we suspended and hasn't been paying for for over a year didn't get canceled and was reactivated when we canceled the other 4 lines. She couldn't explain how it happened or how it made sense to start charging for a line that was anyway suspended and not in use. I verified that it wasn't due to any equipment charges and she confirmed. This debt was caused either by intentional fraud in XXXX behalf or due to a system error. But the debt is not mine and XXXX needs to fix this as now a debt collector is trying to collect a fraudulent debt.
