Consumer Complaint: Approximately 2 years ago I had changed my cellular phone service to XXXX XXXX and I had to purchase a new phone to utilize their service. I purchased a XXXX XXXX XXXX phone for {$750.00}, the most I have ever paid for a phone. Within a few weeks the phone had a problem with charging, there was an alert given when I would plug in the charging cord. It would say that there was moisture in the charging port. The phone had never ever been in the presence of any water. I had contacted XXXX XXXX and they sent me a new phone of the same type and they had me send the defective phone back to them. Within a short time I was contacted by XXXX XXXX saying that I had caused corrosion in the phone and that the problem was my fault. After much communication with them and many other agencies including XXXX who admitted that this was a flaw in their phone but they were working on it and I would have to deal with my provider, they would not do anything either. Meanwhile the phone was under warrantee and XXXX had told me that the phone could be submerged in water for an hour, taken out and let dry, and it would be fine, but I had never had the phone in any direct contact with any water. Subsequently XXXX XXXX shut off my service, locked out the phone and my phone number, and I went back to XXXX, got another brand new phone and number, and recently I had gotten an alert on my XXXX XXXX that there was a collection action on my credit report. I had no contact regarding this and no opportunity to defend myself. Early on in this matter I had tried to find some help through some consumer agency but there was nothing and no way to deal with this issue. I am a semi-disabled senior living on my social security and small pension, and this was fraud on the part of XXXX XXXX. I don't know if there is anything that can be done at this point but it is criminal that a company can act in this way and consciously take advantage of people like myself..

Consumer Complaint: I've contacted I.C. SYSTEM, INC regarding a ATT U-verse debt that is showing up on my credit report. They informed me that the service ( I assume XXXX XXXX ) was setup at an address in Illinois. For what it is worth, I've had XXXX XXXX Stream service ( another ATT XXXX ) for five years, which should make one question why I would open an account for a second cable service. I informed I.C. System, INC that I've lived in XXXX my entire life, and there is no scenario that any service should have been setup at an address in XXXX. This must be a fraudulent account. I made no progress with this company. In fact, they used the opportunity, when I called to dispute the debt, to get my home address in XXXX and update their records instead of doing anything to determine if this was fraudulent. I disputed the debt on the XXXX credit report two times. With both disputes, the results came back within 24 hours with no change. This is impacting my credit score. Please note it is the only delinquency on my credit.. Seeking help because I've exhausted other means of getting this corrected.

Consumer Complaint: I.C.SYSTEM INC. is reporting a debt owed to XXXX for {$910.00} and I never had any accounts with XXXX. I wrote a letter to I.C. Systems and requested validation of the debt. I requested a copy of my signature on the contract they should have. All I got from them was a statement from I.C. Systems that that is verification and a statement from XXXX with bill period of XX/XX/XXXX- XX/XX/2017. These statements only have my name and address. No proof I incurred the debt and or if I am the right XXXX XXXX. I've never XXXX or XXXX XXXX as they show. I only use prepay phones through XXXX. Before finding this on my credit file. No one has sent me letters or attempted to contact me before listing it on my credit file.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX is trying to collect money from me that I dont owe. I open up a business account I was told I had 7 days to return the phone if I decided to close the account the only thing I would be charged would be a restock of {$5000.00} for the phone. After thoroughly thinking I decided to return the phone and end the contract within the timeframe they gave me..I was charged the {$50.00} restock fee. I thought everything was over. I started getting letters that I owed over {$300.00}. I was shocked because I never made a phone call on the phone.I called and the representative told me where he saw that I returned the phone in the timeframe allowed and saw my {$5000.00} restock fee. I was even told they would have never accepted the {$50.00} restock fee if I didnt return the phone and cancel the contract within the timeframe. I was happy to her that. The representative said he will notate and I shouldnt get anymore letters concerning this. Well now I have a letter from a collection agency stating I owe XXXX XXXX XXXX {$300.00}.
