Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I called in to speak with a supervisor about my payments. I advised that I was going to make a {$50.00} payment online as well as a {$330.00} payment because there were no extra fees. I also stated that I was on a break and did n't want to be late going back. The representative was very rude and told me that I was very late behind, and I needed to pay after work. I called back when I got off at XXXX and spoke to another supervisor, and was told to just go online and set up my payments. I assured her that I would do so and I did right after our phone call. On Monday, XX/XX/XXXX I checked my vystar balance and saw that my account was overdrafted. I immediately called my bank and was told that GM Financial tried to withdraw {$330.00} plus a {$10.00} processing fee. I was so angry but worried as well because this was never authorized. I immediately called Gm Financial and spoke to a representative named XXXX, who informed me she would do all she could to help. XXXX placed me on a very long call and asked why did n't I just tell my bank that the payment was unauthorized. I explained that I did and XXXX stated that she would need to place me on hold and never came back on the line. GM Financial is a very unprofessional company my bank has waived all my fees but now I have to pay for a stop payment and that is not fair. I always have to ask for a supervisor and the attitudes are unreal.

Consumer Complaint: My wife and I have a joint loan with GM Financial for the purchase of our XXXX XXXX. I believe we got the loan XX/XX/XXXX. My wife, XXXX XXXX, filed for bankruptcy and it was discharged XX/XX/XXXX. GM Financial will not let me speak with them about my account because of this and more importantly, they are not reflecting my timely payments that I have made for a year now. I am trying to refinance the vehicle and am getting turned down because GM Financial refuses to have my payments reflected on my credit report. I believe they are unlawfully doing this. Can you please help me to get GM Financial to reflect my payments on my credit report? Thank you so much.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2016 I submitted a payment in the amount of {$740.00} for pass due payments. My electronic payment was accepted by GM Financial on XXXX XXXX, 2016 at XXXX eastern standard time, referenced with Trace Number XXXX. However, my car was then repossessed on XXXX XXXX, 2016. Due to the nationals holidays in the United States and XXXX I had to place several calls and spoke with several representatives that could not or would not be of assistance, on XXXX XXXX, 2016. I placed several calls on XXXX XXXX, 2016 with the same result. I went as far as obtaining proof of payment from my bank and faxing it to GM Financial via fax number XXXX. However, not until XXXX XXXX, 2016 did I receive a call back from GM Financial. My conversation with GM Financial consisted of them calling my bank for additional proof that my payment would not be returned to the bank. I was then told that in order to receive my vehicle from repossession I would have to pay additional fees which included a {$520.00} repossession fee. I am disputing the repossession fee since GM Financial had my payment for 48 hours prior to issuing repossession. In the last 3 years GM Financial has had XXXX complaints escalated to the Better Business Bureau.

I was verbally told to come up with $ XXXX dollars in back payments or return keys which I 'd also be charged for within 5 days. Or I wasnt allowed to reclaim the car, when I went to retrieve my personal belongings from the tow company. I was never notified in writing that the car was sold at an auction. Never notified as to my rights to be present at that auction to bid on the vehicle. Also never notified in writing or verbally how much the vehicle sold for. Now my credit is shot and ca n't finance another vehicle due to the repo. I contacted a credit attorney and they lead me to you.

Consumer Complaint: In 2011 post bankruptcy, I was offered a car loan through an agency that works with post bankruptcy individuals. This loan went through and was approved with a rather high interest rate. I took the car loan out at time d/t the fact that I was a single mother with no running vehicle as my vehicle was in constant need of repair. I had a job with a XXXX mile each way commute and needed to not miss time at work any longer d/t vehicle issues. I was able to make the payments and keep going to work and supporting my sons. Soon after I took out the loan the finance co. was taken over by GM Financial. I have continued to pay on this loan over 5 years struggling more and more to keep the vehicle running and make the payments, as life continues to happen. Upon, watching my balance I am noticing that over the last year, though I have struggled, I am no closer to paying this off as I am hoping to do the right thing and pay my debt. I have contacted GM Financial and stated that I feel their late practices are un reasonable and also stating to them that I feel that they are not legal. Not only am I being charged {$50.00} late fee which exceeds 5 % of the entire installment. I am being charged additional interest along with my normal 23 % for each day that I am late. I can not keep up any more. I am paying bare minimal and just trying to give them what I can. At this point I do not see any hope of ever resolving this. They are stating at this point, I have gone from a 72 month installment to 80 months and it keeps growing. I have tried to resolve by requesting settlement. This is refused. The XXXX value on the vehicle at this point in time is under {$2000.00} and the payoff is still showing almost {$11000.00}. I need help, I do n't want to go delinquent, I do n't want to rip them off. I just want the right thing done on XXXX sides. I feel completely vulnerable and have considered a voluntary repossession. I do n't like the idea, but I 'm feeling like my options are running out. Consumer Complaint: I leased a car from GM financial about 6 months ago. I bought insurance on my phone through XXXX and thought I had full coverage. last week there was a vehicle that hit our parked car in front of my house and ran off. XXXX said I do not have full coverage. how did this happen? are n't you legally obligated to have full coverage on the lease? Why did GM financial not do anything about this? Why did XXXX not alert me that I was under covered? Who is at fault? Am I responsible for the {$10000.00} worth of damage from the hit and run? Does GM Financial have an insurance to cover this situation? Does Gap insurance cover this?
