Consumer Complaint: I have lease a XXXX XXXX XXXX through GM Financial on XX/XX/XXXX. I have returned the leased vehicle at the XXXX XXXX dealer at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, NY XXXX. phone : ( XXXX ) XXXX, on XX/XX/XXXX. Despite returning the vehicle, GM Financial continued to automatically withdraw monthly payments from my bank account. The two monthly withdrawals from my bank account of {$130.00} were made on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. I have repeatedly called GM Financial services on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX, to try to have to improperly withdrawn funds returned to me. GM Financial indicated that I have to wait at least 90 days to receive my refund. I believe the refund should be made in a reasonable time frame as the improper withdrawals were made by mistake on the part of GM Financial.

Consumer Complaint: I recently purchased a car from a dealership. I went with a preapproval letter from XXXX XXXX with the intent of getting a loan from that credit provider. At no point did I authorize any other bank to run a credit inquiry. I did authorize the dealership to run my credit once on X/X/17, because they told me that I had to in order to purchase the car. Unfortunately the car dealership proceeded to allow several banks to run my credit resulting in over a 60 point drop in my credit score. The dealership told me that it would only be counted as one hard inquiry since it was within 14 days, but XXXX stated that in fact is not the case. Nothing else has changed on my ( XXXX ) credit report since my credit pulled a little over a week ago. As I plan on purchasing a new house within the next year, I am unable to wait for all of these inquiries to fall off of my credit report. So far I have contacted GM Financial who said that they would not be able to provide a letter for me to submit to the credit bureaus to have this inquiry removed. They stated that they got permission from the car dealership to run my credit and would not be able to assist me in removing this from my credit report. I did not authorize the car dealership to allow GM Financial to run my credit. I was told numerous times by representatives that I would be able to get a deferment on my loan after I have made 6 payments to them. I have been making payments to them when I can due to financial difficulty. I have also had the website again blocked and paying each time I pay my car note XXXX dollars in fee to use my CC. They said also by representatives that they can what they want when they want. This is my second complaint against them still with no real resolution.

Consumer Complaint: on XX/XX/XXXX i called gm financial to resolve an old debt. The representative there transferred me to a collection department to make a payment. after making the payment, my credit report was suppose to be updated to a paid status, which they did for a few days before switching it back to unpaid. every time i call gm financial there is always an issue with my information in there system and half of them ca n't get past authentication because personal info is not correct either. I gave them my dob, ssn and address but because my telephone number does n't match i would need to be transferred which would start a transferring nightmare one after the next. Its been four months since gm took the payment and they have n't been able to update the credit reporting agencies or the account in their office properly or in a reasonable time frame.

They now call me 2 to 4 times a day as soon as I am 1 day late on a payment this has been going on since XXXX 2017 at one point they offered me a 3 month forbearance then when I was able to actually do that they told me I was n't allowed that option anymore. I am u employeed am trying to make payments but they are not willing to work with me and just harassing me on payments.

Consumer Complaint: GM Financial has committed Willful and Negligent violations as per the Fair Credit Reporting Act. ( 15 U.S. Code 1681n - Civil liability for willful noncompliance ) As ofXX/XX/XXXX 2017, XXXX, XXXX and XXXX has this account currently at " 60 days late ''. As of XX/XX/XXXX, 2017, it had be reporting a " current 30 days late ''.
I spoke by conversation on XX/XX/XXXX, 2017 with XXXX at extension XXXX at approximately XXXX Central Time as it was on a recorded line. She advised my account had never been 30 days late nor 60 days late. She furthermore confirmed the most the account has ever been late, do to an erroneous automatic payment which never processed was 25 days. She was direct at first and " did n't care '' what any credit report stated as she stated the account has " never been late '' in its entire history. Additional verification both of my personal checking account and XXXX 's account history confirmed this account has never been late 30 days at any points in its history. I asked if I could speak to a supervisor or speak to the credit department directly and I was advised the supervisor would state the same and I was allowed to speak to the credit department rather she would send them an internal email. Since these erroneous trade-lines are currently on my credit report, my credit scores ( FICO SCORES ) have dropped from an average of XXXX to an average of XXXX This represents a risk factor to almost none existent risk to a huge risk. Additionally, since my creditors use monthly soft pull credit reports to monitor their own credit liabilities, I have had 2 creditors considerably drop my credit lines available with them which put me at a higher utilization rate so even when GM Financial corrects this violation, my credit score will still be significantly lower since my utilization will take a hit. Additionally, the only possibility these creditors raise limits where they once stood before these violations is to have them re-pull credit reports which constitutes a hard pull, thus an inquiry which does lower credit scores. As of Today, XX/XX/XXXX, 2017, I am also sending a formal complaint to the FTC and the Attorney General in Texas so GM Financial stops their illegal tactics of committing both willful and negligent violations and stop financial harm to unsuspecting individuals. If I did n't purchase a credit monitoring service, I would n't ever been alerted to these violations. I need this immediately corrected on my 3 credit bureaus and will be filing a lawsuit against GM Financial for statutory damages, actual damages for their willful violations while also suing for actual damages for their negligent violations. Additionally, I am in the middle of refinancing my private residence and these violations completely have caused a massive financial problem due to the violations and continued negligence of GM Financial. Consumer Complaint: I leased a XXXX XXXX XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. GM Financial.. IN the beginning of XXXX I had to call to get my account number to login online because I never received a statement. I went in to the online account around XXXX saw XXXX Balance due, and waited, till XXXX XXXX to recheck and saw I owed a payment and late fee, because I missed the due date- which was not written on the Online statement when the due date was. I paid the past due, XXXX and late fee, and set up automatic payment. The end of XXXX received an email that I missed a payment, and was charged a fee. The automatic debit started XXXX XXXX, so I missed XXXX payment. They purposefully skin a cycle to XXXX the consumer and charge late fee, when In XXXX I set up a payment, that should have covered XXXX and beyond.
2 -they sent a late payment ding to my credit monitoring company, because I missed XXXX. They say they called me, But they do not identify themselves on the voicemail as to who is calling, so I did n't call back, would you call back an unidentified number XXXX. They refuse to remove the ding even though they admit the online site was not accurate in XXXX because the bill had n't come due yet, but why would they not post my future due date due in the same month.?
