Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 I was driving my truck on the highway when the engine went bad while cruising at highway speeds. I did not receive my truck until XX/XX/XXXX. During that time period I had was given multiple courtesy vehicles from the dealership but none were a truck. I had to rent a truck to move my wife to Ohio and didnt have my truck for my wedding which I had to borrow someone else 's truck for that. I tried to work with GM to come to a resolution but they didnt not offer any compensation for my time nor the XXXX caused by the engine going bad while driving at highway speeds. I filed arbitration with General Motors on XX/XX/2023 per the agreement I signed when I bought the truck. On XX/XX/XXXX, the XXXX XXXX XXXX informed me they are taking no new GM cases because GM is not complying with the XXXX 's policies regarding consumer claims. Thus violating the agreement we signed when I bought the vehicle. GM also called me to XXXX me and violated our agreement by trying to get me to not follow the arbitration process. GM claimed it was a recorded line so there should be a recording of the phone call.

Consumer Complaint: Last XXXX I leased my XXXX XXXX XXXX. Immediately after lease the radio and screen in the car quit working and would come on and off as I would drive. Rather than take it in for repair, I decided to continue going to work because I could not be without a vehicle. From there, the car engine blew on the way home one day and I was forced to have it towed. XXXX did very little make sure I was okay or had a vehicle to work with even though their new vehicle broke down on me and was fully paid. I was without my car and then also did not have a loaner until 10 days later. Due to the fact that I was forced to pay for a vehicle I did not have, I could not afford a rental car and that is what XXXX was telling me to do. Pay for a rental out of my pocket and they would pay it back. Which seems incredible unfair to the blue collared worker or someone who is paycheck to paycheck. Because of this I was forced to go without a vehicle and miss days of work because of it. Then in late XXXX XXXX I received my vehicle back with a " new engine ''. Upon receiving my new vehicle I was already hesitant to drive it and did not trust it enough to take it on the highway. Instantly when getting the vehicle returned I knew something was still wrong. I called XXXX every single day leading up to my car engine going out for the SECOND TIME in the middle of the road. Luckily I was able to turn the car off, then back on and get home, but never over 40mph. The following day I had the car towed and the dealership informed me they could find nothing wrong and that the memory card had no recollection of the issue and the XXXXCheck Engine Light ' had also not come on. So then I was informed to go get the vehicle once again and use it. When I returned to the dealership XX/XX/XXXX to pick it up, I was informed the vehicle had issues when one of the technicians drove it so my story was finally viable and they were going to keep it. Again, leaving work early and missing out on hours when a phone call could have saved everything. Simple mistake so not that big of a deal, but once again no loaner was given so I had to XXXX to work once again, taking money out of my pocket that should be XXXX 's. Now XXXX is sending out a field technician to look over the vehicle in an attempt to fix it. Mind you this has been going on for 3 months now and all three months I was forced to pay in full with XXXX not trying to help AT ALL. I have contacted them over XXXX times, maybe daily and have just now turned to the help of other organizations. My case should have been escalated long ago and this company is taking advantage of the every day blue collared worker.

Consumer Complaint: I am unsure if this is the right " reasoning '' but i feel as if GM is being a bit unfair with me. I have had two individual GM Financial accounts for {$70000.00} a piece in the last couple of years. Even though I fell into hard times and had to pay late, I never complained. It was my fault. In XXXX of XXXX, I contracted the XXXX XXXX, and it was as bad as they say. I was XXXX XXXX for a week and XXXX for 2 more. I was not able to work and therefore was not able to bring home a paycheck and I was late on my payment in XXXX of XXXX. I was last late before that in XXXX of XXXX. That was my fault and I expect nothing for that. In XXXX though, I was very ill, and I paid late because of that, and I paid off my loan that month as well to make sure you got all of yours. They said " they are required to report accurate information to the credit bureau '' in the auto response they sent me after i sent TWO letters begging them for help. I know this is true, but not entirely. GM has forgiven late payments in the past. I was able to speak to people, look it up online, and find confirmation of this. I am not sure if they call it forgiving a late payment or if they just recall their " reporting " for that month, but either way, i know they can help me here as they have helped others. All I got was an auto resposne. Seeing as how i have done so much business with them in the past, and could possibly do some in the future, i do not think this is out of line at all. I would like ONE MONTH, either not reported or modified, that is all, and i know they can do it. The month i would like looked at is XXXX of XXXX. I will attach the two letters i sent and what they sent back to me.

Consumer Complaint: I, XXXX XXXX and natural person, was denied credit by AmeriCredit when I applied for auto financing, who is in possession/control of a legal person ( XXXX XXXX ) of whom I am the Executor of the Estate/Trust of ( XXXX XXXX ) through a SS-4 presented form the Treasury with a EIN with credits/funds exceeding $ XXXX in which credits are taken from every time my social is used. I am co-signing/the co-signer for the legal person ( XXXX XXXX ) when Im entering into any consumer credit transaction/consumer transaction.. Adverse action against a consumer is AGAINST THE LAW according to the Equal Credit Opportunity Act ( Regulation B ) which is codified in 15 U.S.C 1691 ( a ) ( c ) and is pursuant to civil liability under 15 U.S.C 1692k. Also, they willingly and knowingly provided false and misleading information to me to make that decision 15 U.S.C 1611 denying me extension of my OWN credit. They also colluded with the dealership to get me to make a down payment when its a consumer CREDIT transaction and thats breaking the law 15 U.S.C 1605, 15 U.S.C 1611. A creditor shall not refuse to grant a individual account to a credit worthy applicant for ANY prohibited basis 12 CFR 1002.7 ( a ). You are subject to criminal liability for violating 15 U.S.C 1691 and 15 U.S.C 1611 as I have proof that I was discriminated against by AmeriCredit due to the response I received. AmeriCredit is in violation of 15 U.S.C1642, U.S.C 1681 ( m ) and 12 CFR 1002 because I, the consumer, made a application in good faith, but credit was not issued. Furthermore, because my social security number ( credit card ) 15 U.S.C 1602 ( l ) was used, and I received NO benefit. This is proof of fraudulent activity ( unauthorized use of credit card ) on behalf of AmeriCredit 15 U.S.C 1602 ( p ). If AmeriCredit fails to make any reasonable procedures to resolve this matter and compensate me the use of my credit card I will indeed make AmeriCredit criminally and civilly liable for all actual damages pursuant to 15 USC 1691 ( g ) ( h ) where as a pattern or practice of discouraging or denying applications for credit in violation of section 1691 ( a ) ( c ), 12 CFR 1002.7 ( a ) & 15 U.S.C 1681 ( n ), 15 U.S.C 1681 ( o ).
