Consumer Complaint: I leased this car and have been making payments. I was surprised in the first place to even get it due to my credit situation. But I needed a car after being in 2 car accidents in less than a yr last yr. I have been making payments, some in full, some half and even would try and do 2-3 months. Lately I have been phone calls all day and just about every 2-3 days from different agents even though I had spoken to someone prior to the new calls. The last rep told me that one of my payments that I had made back in XXXX was sent, then returned. Which I was never informed of it nor received it back in my account. I called my bank and they pulled up my payment history and saw where I had made the payment and that it was deposited on their end. XXXX still tried to tell me that when I made the payment, there might not have been enough funds in my account to make the payment. I've tried to explain to them that I use a prepaid debit card and can only spend what is in my account. So if the funds wasn't there, it wouldn't have gone through. They are still trying to tell me that the payment wasn't made, when I got the last call before making this complaint, I had asked to speak to a supervisor, they found one that was available, I was placed on hold and was on hold for over 10mins before I hung up since no one came back to the line.

Consumer Complaint: My dispute is with GM Financial I have been a customer who had made timely payments every month. However, in XX/XX/2017, a payment was reported as late because my auto payments were turned off without my knowledge. It was for a small amount, only {$100.00}. Upon realizing this, I immediately made the payment as well as the payment for the next month. I wrote a letter of good will and the never responded. I kindly tried calling the customer service representatives and they were very rude to me, said it was my fault, and there was nothing for them to do.

Consumer Complaint: I Received my credit report showing a inquiry from XXXX XXXX from XX/XX/18 showing I applied for a Car loan. 3 years ago, I was a victim of identity where my ID AND SOCIAL SECURITY CARD were stolen. I did not apply for any Car loan, and this remark on my credit is causing many issues for me applying for a home which is affecting my score. I did not give this company permission to run my credit for any means necessary. I do not have any means of applying for a car loan as I am a single mom and could not afford and other dept The item is inaccurate, misleading, or incomplete, may have violated federal law.

Consumer Complaint: I returned a vehicle to GM Financial. GM Financial charges me {$180.00} in late fees even though I always attempted to makemy payments on GMs website on approximately the same day, within the grace period. GM Financial is also reporting derogatory information to credit bureaus concerning this account. GM Financials website experienced significant problems, and GM indicated that it would waive late fees and delete derogatory credit information due to customers inability to make a timely payment. Nevertheless, GM Financial has refused to waive these late fees and has refused to correct erroneous credit reporting on this account.

Consumer Complaint: This vehicle was in 3 accidents because of a defective engine part and issues that occurred 5x in less the 5 months all major engine issues. The car wont accelerate ND SHUTS OFF. i was told to leave vehicle at dealership and that GM would buy back the car yet 4 months and nothing no car no information the evade my calls. I have no car and I was paying load till last month but I cant pay for a car that I dont have and that is a danger to myself and others. Fixed 5 x and always breaks each time. Engine and transmission issues. I am paying for a car rental GM said they pay but I am stuck with the Bill I want this account removed from all credit agencys as it is a vehicle that is a lemon and the cause of 3 accidents with its shutting off. It is ruining my life and my credit cost me my home and potential future home loan.

Consumer Complaint: someone with the name given, " XXXX id # XXXX with GM financial, '' claims over the phone that I owe a large sum of money to GM Financial. I have been hung up on by these people several times. I repeatedly request written correspondence via us mail ( a Bill or Statement etc. ) that I may have an opportunity to examine them and take the necessary steps to resolve the issue. Not once has anyone sent anything or provided any documentation to me whatsoever though their reporting to the 3 major consumer reporting agencies has tainted my credit and drastically lowered my score. I had been in the process of pre-qualifying for a VA home loan and now, I am told I can not due to the now very low credit rating. My family life and professional life has been halted completely and I require resolution / remedy. If a person or corporate entity claims I owe them something, they must then present their claim in writing, affording me the opportunity to resolve the matter. They refuse to offer or present any remedy therefore this case is dismissed, account closed, all reporting from GM financial to the major consumer reporting agencies, ie XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, need to be dissolved and completely removed at once.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2018, XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX purchased a XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX., XXXX, OH XXXX. We applied for credit, and we were approved. We signed the contract and received the keys. On XX/XX/2018, the lender was contacted to make a payment. The lender said they had no record of the loan. Thirty-seven days from the date of the contract, On XX/XX/2018, we were told by XXXX XXXX XXXX to return the car to the dealership and that we were not approved for credit. I was told I would be in big trouble and they would have to involve the police if I didnt comply. They offered to approve a loan for an older car for a much higher interest rate. The contract I have said there could be no verbal agreements to change the contract. The contract also stated that it is a binding agreement after ten days of the execution of the contract. I have received nothing in writing. I believe this is an unfair credit practice.

Consumer Complaint: GM financial and XXXX XXXX XXXX. GM account number : XXXX Complaint : I had received no notification, by mail, phone, or email. GM did not even have my phone number which is unchanged going back to 1997 or email, but sent a employee of their contract with XXXX XXXX XXXX to reposes my vehicle over a very small amount. I paid the entire amount in full of {$3000.00} the very moment I found about this mess. Concern : The employee from XXXX XXXX XXXX frienghted my family, with us calling the XXXX county police on him- which they concurred his behavior set him up for potential criminal liability over harassment charges. I do have him on video. My concern is over the entire way this has been handled. The individual from the car retrieval company is fortuantate I did not pursue charges.
