Consumer Complaint: I was notified by the mortgage office that an old creditor GM Financial was reflecting my bankruptcy with an incorrect date, my bankruptcy file date is XX/XX/XXXX with a discharge date of XX/XX/XXXX. GM Financial has a date of XX/XX/XXXX for the discharge, I have filed a complaint electronically and also called and spoke to a rep with XXXX and still no resolve. I explained to the rep that this was included in my bankruptcy and the information needs to be accurate. After reviewing my credit report they had the balance as {$10000.00} and the total balanced owed as {$100000.00}. Now this is affecting me from being able to purchase a home due to the mortgage company advising that I can not proceed further for another 2 years based on the incorrect information/date they see on the file.

Consumer Complaint: I, Am writing this letter for a family member who doesn't speak English. On XX/XX/2018 estimated cost {$55.00} I Six months ago helped a friend purchase a car from XXXX dealer On XXXX XXXX. I am limited of understanding and Speaking English, but with my limited English I was assured my name would be taken off the car and placed in my friends name. On XX/XX/XXXX we went to the dealers and I took a translator, since they could not provide me with one the first time. I was informed my name could only be taken off if truck was traded in and a new car was purchased. My friend and his cosigner agreed to this solution. I left truck at dealer with keys with the intention that issue was taken care of. The next day my friend showed up at work with the car he was purchasing from dealer, so I went to dealer that after noon at XXXX XXXX. to sign paper work and received copies that it was out of my name and had no worries everything was taken care of. It is now XX/XX/2018 and I received a phone call from a representative by the name of XXXX ( XXXX XXXX ) who speaks some XXXX stating I need to pick the truck up, since the deal did not happen with truck trade in. I am confused I witnessed a signature that allowed my friend to drive away in a new car from dealer and witnessed the car in the parking lot of our Job. Are sales representatives there to give false information to buyers so they make a sale or are there laws, which protect the buyers of being told the truth at the time of purchase?? The truck is still on your premises and I contacted the financial company and a lawyer to see what my options are. I will go on Friday to speak with the manager who assured me all was good, so he can explain and give me reasons on why I was lied to and tell me to take the truck and nothing your company can do for me but tell me lies. I am ready to hear this on Friday I have no high expectations nor expected any help from your dealership.

Consumer Complaint: I have had multiple billing issues with 2 car leases over the past 3 years between an incorrect late payment that they applied to the wrong account/duplicate billing for almost year and a incorrect late payment from last month from GM system error for the wrong ending date on the billing lease payment. XXXX This payment was never late on XX/XX/XXXX, GM stated they found the check later because they applied the payment to the wrong account. This is inaccurate and they had taken duplicate payments from my account for almost year. XXXX XXXX-still showed gm as late so redisputed it and said this : This payment was never late, gm found the check later because they applied the payment to the wrong account. This is inaccurate and they told me to have it corrected on here. This showed as late 30-60 payments. GM would not correct it even though they admitted it was an internal error. I sent the letter below for another issue for GM Financial billing me duplicate autodrafts for the dates below. XXXX credit due 2-3 weeks request submitted XXXX -spoke to XXXX Current issue with GM I have a XXXX XXXX XXXX lease that has been set up for the automatic recurrent payments since the loan began in XXXX. I received a letter on XXXX stating my payment was late. I contacted them on XXXX and asked why I received the letter and they said I missed the payment. I told them that was incorrect as it was set up from the beginning of the lease term for the automatic payments with the same exact bank. They said I canceled.set it up to stop payment on XXXX. This is inaccurate as I had already set it up for the entire loan lease period. The customer service rep stated their is a glitch in the system that will cancel the recurring payments. I stated I need this fixed asap and she said she can not help me. I was told to make the 2 payments for the amount of XXXX. This included a fee. I received the confirnation number-XXXX stating it was paid in full. I called GM again today to get their error resolved on my credit report and they would not assist me to get it fixed. I explained to them they do not send me any paper or email statements. I received one letter which was the letter on XXXX stating I was late. I also asked them why they do not communicate any of my loan or issues they had by calling, mailing or emailing me. They stated they do not know. Consumer Complaint: I have had to exercise my option to defer ( extend ) payments to the end of my loan, in the summer of XXXX and XXXX. GM Financial has reported both the XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX payments as over 30 days on my credit, both with XXXX and XXXX XXXX. I contacted GM Financial in XX/XX/XXXX to dispute the most recent reported late payment. After looking at the situation, they told me the deferment ( extension ) was processed after the payment was 30 days late. I reminded them that I had submitted the proper documentation and the payment to process in time. I called to follow up the next day, after submitting both the paperwork and the payment to ensure everything had been received. Their system was down that day ( Saturday ) and they could not tell me anything until the following week. I was assured it would be effective dated for the receipt date. The person in XXXX told me to file a dispute with the Credit Bureaus. I did that XX/XX/XXXX. The reporting for the XX/XX/XXXX was removed upon the resolution of that dispute. The next month, XX/XX/XXXX was reported again as late. I called GM Financial on XX/XX/XXXX to, again, go through the long process of explaining everything to hear the same responses. Finally, a supervisor assured me she was going to review it with the credit reporting team and get back to me the following week. Last Saturday, XX/XX/XXXX, I finally had time to call to follow up, after getting absolutely no response in over a month. I had to, once again, explain everything to be told the same responses, along with another supervisor telling me what " I '' would have to do to correct it. I explained in very clear terms, my next action was to file a complaint through CFPB. I asked him the time frame he needed to get a response from the credit reporting team. He said Wednesday, which was XX/XX/XXXX. I have not heard or seen any response. I purposely waited another couple days, in case something came up, preventing a timely response. I, now, would like to have both XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX removed from my credit report as late payments, since both payments were placed at the end of my loan, causing me to pay additional interest on the loan, and delaying my payoff date. I have spent hours trying to get this corrected. I have been denied a personal loan, because of these reporting issues. That personal loan would have allowed me to pay off the last of the negative issues on my credit, therefore raising my credit score to the point I could effectively trade in the car and have GM Financial paid off. I feel I have been more than patient and fair minded in my attempts, while being met with resistance, red tape and absolutely no follow up by GM Financial.

I called all my creditors and explained why I might be late due to the severity of my XXXX and not being able to pick up my paycheck. Once I did get my paycheck the crazy employer gave me my paycheck and it bounced. I called again and explained the situation everything was verbally agreed upon and I assumed that I was ok until I noticed that I was indeed marked past due. I have made several attempts to plead with this removal and they are still dragging it out. My record of payments is impeccable never late except this particular time.
