Consumer Complaint: I was leasing a vehicle, and I turned the vehicle in early. They wanted me to pay a early termination fee in addition to the money I paid to cover the remaining payments of the lease. I paid the remaining lease payments, and they said I could pay the fee later so I did. They listed a late payment for a month I no longer was leasing. I was never late always on time and was given permission to make the fee payment at a later date. I called GM financial and they told me they dont see late payments on their end that they never reported a late payment however its on my credit report. In addition it does not show that it is closed it shows as a current account. Its on my XXXX credit report and possibly XXXX. Please help. I am trying to eventually remortgage my home.

Consumer Complaint: THE LENDER OFFER DEFERRED PAYMENTS FOR A ( FEE ). THE LENDER FAILED TO INFORM US WHEN ACCEPTING THE OFFER THAT IN THE EVENT OF A TOTAL LOSS ANY GAP CLAIM WOULD BE DENIED. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2019, I contacted GM Financial in hopes of receiving relief because I was 14 days behind in my payment. Therefore, during this call, GM Financial Representative provided several options, then I proceeded to exercise one of those options, which I was immediately denied. Confused, I inquired about the denial, the Customer Representative stated, I needed to pay my bill, which was 14 days late. I requested to speak to her supervisor, the representative tone, volume, and pitch became increasingly unprofessional and hostile. Therefore, the GM Representative ( XXXX ) eventually disconnected the phone, while I was in mid-sentence. I called back, to only have a representative answer, while obnoxiously laughing. A couple of weeks had past and I requested for the vehicle to be repossessed, then the charade begun, with " we are sorry for how you were treated, '' " we are sorry the representative misinformed / misquoted our policy. '' In addition, the representative falsified the notes, which created a debacle about whose telling the truth. Well, I have written the XXXX, and provided more in-depth information, and I can say my biggest mistake was becoming a customer of GM Financial. I am completely disgusted with their treatment of me and this topic. Furthermore, I was talked out of returning the vehicle ( repossession ), because I was informed, if I paid a small fee, that XXXX and XXXX payments would be placed at the end of the contract and my credit would be restored, which was another lie. As aforementioned, I should have never became a customer at all. I have 59 miserable payments to go, which I feel ( re ) victimizes me every month, afterwards, I will request for it to be deleted from credit report, because I never want to look at this mistake again.

Consumer Complaint: I am having a problem because there are a lot of inaccurate information on my report. I have been a victim of identity theft. I have XXXX inquiries, collections and misinformation that does not belong to me. I have varying birth dates, social security numbers, and addresses where I never lived and collection accounts that I DID NOT OPEN. I am XXXX years old and my credit is important to me. I am getting phone calls for some woman named XXXX XXXX, whom I suspect is responsible for this.I have tried to find out who she is to no avail. All of this stuff needs to be removed from my account. I can't have this issue continue. This person, I assume is doing a lot of this online.I am now trying to rent a home, and all of this keeps coming up, it is NOT fair for me to have to pay for someone else 's fraud. I am asking that anyone that inquires into my file, let it be known that Iam disputing my credit file and I AM A VICTIM OF identity theft. This woman XXXX XXXX is from New York, as far as I can tell and all she does is try and buy things in other people 's name. She is of XXXX descent, and scamming is her game. She is on XXXX, without a picture.

Issue: Problem with a credit reporting company's investigation into an existing problem
Subissue: Investigation took more than 30 days
Consumer Complaint: I paid my car payment with GMC Financial for XX/XX/XXXX payment on XX/XX/XXXX. It was the 30th day, but it wasn't past 30 days. I was reported 30 days past due. I also called and made payment arrangements for the XXXX payment and stated that it will be past 30 days and I would pay on XX/XX/XXXX. I did pay today. It is very stressful dealing with anxiety from COVID 19, not being able to receive income from second job to help pay bills and worry about credit reporting 30 days late when my XXXX payment was entered on XX/XX/XXXX, that's the 30th day. How could I be reported 30 days past due. They sent me a letter stating that nothing was reported late, but I am looking at my XXXX credit report online with XXXX and it is showing past due. Also, I thought according to the Care Act, if I made arrangements with my credit, they could not report me late. GM Financial reported me late for XXXX also. I was not late in XXXX and they told me that I would not be reported late in XXXX. GM Financial have been reporting incorrect information or no information at all since I have had this account. I am also reported late in XXXX and XXXX but I was on an extended payment plan and was told when this became in effect that I would not be shown 30 days late. I have been written letters that have not aligned with my credit report status. Something has to be done about this.
