Consumer Complaint: I was advised to write to you by your customer service department concerning my credit rating with your company. I have enjoyed a credit account with you for many years. During the course of our business association, I have honored and respected my account agreement to the fullest. I appreciate how wonderful your service has always been. Unfortunately, I was in a financial dilemma due to job loss. As a result, my payment to you were delayed. Because your account with me is extremely important I managed to borrow the money to cover the late payments. I made sure to fulfill my obligation to ensure that your company suffered no loss. I am thankful and appreciative for the years of positive credit history that I have obtained through your company but now the late marks on my credit reports are causing me tremendous stress. I am trying to move up to a better paid position at my work, but the negative remarks are hurting my efforts. This is where my " XXXX XXXX '' comes in. Consumer Complaint: Upon receiving my recent Credit report, I have found information regarding debt that is being claimed against me. I've been working diligently to improve my credit, despite having difficulties with collection agencies in the past. I've done my research on debt collection practices and how to manage my personal finances better. I've been saving for quite some time to pay off my accounts and finally did. This was difficult as the collectors were unwilling to work with me at times. That said I was able to pay off the accounts by starting with a new slate on my credit. The collection agencies in question have not removed the accounts from my credit report yet the rest being damaged because of it. They informed me that they would stop reporting the accounts but haven't.

In XXXX of XXXX, I sold the vehicle during a trade at a dealership and as such the final payment for the entire balance was paid to GM Financial. Unfortunately, GM Financial reported a late payment to the corresponding credit bureaus which has damaged my credit worthiness with inaccurate information. I spoke with a GM financial customer service representative who indicated that they have no record of a late payment reported to the credit agencies, however this is not the case. I would like to have this adverse information removed from my credit file as it is currently affecting my ability to obtain a mortgage.

Consumer Complaint: I am a respected professional in the community and have spent my life building a positive reputation. Nevertheless, I have been informed that you have been maliciously spreading inaccurate and unfounded information that is damaging to my personal and professional character. 1 ) At the time GM repossessed the XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX, I was not made aware that I was in default. Furthermore, I was not notified that because of the default the XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX was at risk of repossession. These conditions were stipulated in our contract. 2 ) GM Financial did not notify me prior to selling the XXXX XXXX XXXX. This is another condition stipulated in the contract and it is also required by State Law : Florida Statute 537.012 ( 3 ) 3 ) GM Financial sold the XXXX XXXX XXXX far below the Market Value for that vehicle. According to my estimates the market value should have been {$7700.00}. That would have paid for any default prior to GM charging off the debt. 4 ) GM Financial breached our contract in that they charged me {$100.00} for late charges. Our contract states : Five percent of the part that is late. My payment was {$270.00}. So a late charge would be {$14.00}. GM forced me to pay {$2400.00} over our contractual agreement to not repossess the vehicle. They caused the financial hardship to my family that forced the repossession. GM breached our contract that stranded me and my family. GM sold the XXXX XXXX XXXX without notice and far below market value. Now GM Financial is reporting inaccurate information to the credit bureaus to injure me. Under the laws in the State of Florida, it is unlawful for an individual to make deliberate statements that intend to harm a persons reputation without factual evidence or based on hearsay. The defamatory statements include, but are not limited to, the following : the damaging, injurious, slanderous comments, content, and depictions GM has been reporting / publishing to the credit bureaus. GM Financial sold the XXXX XXXX XXXX far below the Market Value for that vehicle. According to my estimates the market value should have been {$7700.00}. That would have paid for any default prior to GM charging off the debt. GM Financial fabricated a debt that they have already charged off. I presume it is their business model. It is similar to a Federal Court case they lost. Apparently GM Financial does this exact same routine on a regular base : They repossess a vehicle then force their customers to pay inflated fees and inflated prices of the vehicle to remove it from their credit report ; at the same time receiving the tax benefit of charging it off.

Consumer Complaint: I was prequalified through XXXX XXXX and they sent me out a navigation system to dealerships that they deal with and I found one dealership that I was interested in it it was going to be motors in XXXX North Carolina I called the dealership and ask them do they have the car that I was interested in and one of the sales person yes so I told him that I was prequalified with Of the way and I just wanted to know what I need to do if I was interested in getting qualified to purchase the car so he told me but I told him I had to verify my pay rate will work before they could prequalify me so I am so I told him I will call him back I called them back and I couldnt verify my pay rate because I was out on short term XXXX So I was having problems getting into my portal to verify my wage well I work so I called the So I called the sales person back at XXXX And told him with my situation I told him that I couldnt get into my portal so I can verify my pay rate so Im a just have to hold off until I can get into it so he insisted and asked me that he know he could probably try to help me out on this situation he told me that he has situations like this with some of the employees who worked at my job who purchased calls from them he told me he could get into my portal if I might pay rate for me so he said of let me get some information from you OK yeah he asked me for my home address my employment my Social Security number when he asked for the Social Security number I told him and I reiterate dont run my credit without a really good sale dont run my credit I reiterated over and over again he say oh no I wont really quick so Im just trying to get into your portal to see if I could help you to verify your pay rate I have done this beforeOK so I said fine I say well Ill give you a call back the next day to see if you can get into see what what you have done the next day I called him back he told me he couldnt get into it the portal to verify my pay rate so I sit with us no problem I see is not a big XXXX XXXX right now Im not in a rush to get a car but you know Im trying to go through XXXX before the prequalification deadline Expire I said dont worry about it Ill get back with you Im a take care of this matter myself and I repeat it to him before I got off the phone dont run my credit without my written consent so after that two weeks later I letter in the mail from finance company called Ameri creditSaying that I dont do not qualify for a a call financial loan because its due to my credit situation The letter hadXXXX XXXX XXXX from XXXX North Carolina so I can know that the sales person who I was speaking with Submit itmy credit without my consent so I called the dealership and spoke with the sales person he tried to say that I gave him verbal consent to run my credit which I did and he lied about this matter so this is where I met with this situation right now there are several different finance companies sending me back letters which are bringing my credit now my credit has dropped 72 points since he submitted my information to all these finance companies I have got several letters from different finance companiesThis is where Im at right now with this situation
