Issue: Struggling to pay your loan
Subissue: Denied request to lower payments
Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2020 I was laid off from work due to COVID. I wasn't able to make a payment for 1 month due to problems with unemployment and trying to get another job. Once arrangements were made on my end I was able to make payments and be on time again. I asked them via phone and talked to a rep to have a payment deferment and was granted it. I've never been late anytime prior to this or even after. It was a unforseen worldwide disaster and have had good payment history prior to and post to the event.

Consumer Complaint: I have called XXXX XXXX a few times during Covid 19. The last time I called was in the beginning of XXXX. I asked them what I could do about my payments because I lost my career due to covid. I work in the XXXX field as an XXXX and I still can not find part time work. My XXXX is getting worse from the XXXX and XXXX. I had just bought a condo as well XX/XX/2019. My mortgage company worked with me. When it came to XXXX they told me that there was nothing they could do for me because I lease my car. I still can not find work. I am struggling in every way financially and could lose my home if I am unable to rent it. This is my second time I have leased with XXXX. I am so disappointed with XXXX XXXX and their lack of empathy for people who are struggling. I asked if I could turn the SUV in and they told me I could but I would still owe the money. I don't want to have my credit destroyed. Thats the only thing I have. I don't have family to help me financially. This is a pandemic. People are still buying cars. They are not hurting for money but some people are actually still hurting for work.
