Consumer Complaint: I was going through a hard time in 2016 I moved back in with my mother I called the car loan place and had them come and pick up vehicle due no job. Four years later I never received a summons to go court they placed a garnishment on me and now they are taking money out of my check every time I get paid. The balance on credit report in more than the balance I see on my check XXXX on credit report on paystub it say still owing XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: The mini van was purchased at {$11000.00} XXXX doubled payments before the start of payments after the purchase on XX/XX/XXXX ; was lied to about down payment at {$2000.00} then it went {$3200.00} ( red flags ) The mini van was paid in full and repossessed in XX/XX/XXXX XXXXWe sent a letter emailed and mailed letting them know that that mini van was paid in full and there was no response ; but sold it immediately then put on our credit report repossession as though we did not pay for my vehicle They sent a letter out knowing full well they were paid in full to the old address but they came to my new address and stole the vehicle that we paid for. The amount they paid someone to tow it from my new address in XX/XX/XXXX in the amount of {$2100.00} that is also on the credit report.

Consumer Complaint: I co-signed for 2 vehicles for my children. One car was totaled but somehow he had a balance of XXXX they stated. The other car was repossessed both cars were purchase XX/XX/2016 and repossessed a year later my daughter couldn't afford to pay. They used my SSI for both incomes on two XXXX loans. And both of them had minimum jobs but they said they could finance anyway. Both of the loans are still showing up on my credit reports as open loans preventing me from any purchases and contours low score after 7 years. One car is XXXX XXXX says his balance is XXXX after his insurance stated they paid but Credit Acceptance states there is still a balance XXXX XXXX is the other car that was repossessed after year because she fell behind 2 payments and they wanted her to come up with 3 payments and later fees. I was able to help due to only getting SSI and also my own vehicle. please if you can assist me with this matter I don't think they ever intended to close these accounts thanks XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: Purchased a used car which was financed through credit acceptance ( XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, MI XXXX which I purchased from Initial XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX NY XXXX The total amount financed was {$11000.00}. My car was wrecked and was a total loss, the insurance company paid {$8400.00} to credit acceptance on XX/XX/23, my service contract refunded {$890.00} and {$1600.00} to credit acceptance on XX/XX/23, my gap insurance paid them {$35.00} on XX/XX/23. I made a payment to credit acceptance on XX/XX/23 of {$270.00}, XX/XX/23 of {$270.00} and another payment of {$270.00} on XX/XX/23 a total of {$11000.00}. Leaving a credit of {$400.00}, but credit acceptance is telling me that the loan is not paid off and that I still owe them {$6600.00} in interest which would of been the cost of the loan had I paid it over the full term of the loan. I feel this is predatory lending and a violation of the consumer fair credit act.

Consumer Complaint: I got an Auto Loan from Credit Acceptance for a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX XXXX ). the car XXXX XXXX value is between $ XXXX {$10000.00}... somehow I was financed and paying in total {$27000.00} I'm sure that's over the legal limit of interest in XXXX XXXX I spoke with them to tell them I did not want the car anymore. they failed to respond. eventually they came and repossessed the vehicle. they sold the vehicle at auction and are telling me I owe them {$16000.00} and are using a debt collector service by the name of XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to collect this debt. I do not have this vehicle anymore as they have taken it back and now they are forcing me to pay WELL over the actual value of the car and are sending debt collectors to harass me. what legal ways can I sue or do anything about this? cause I'm not paying this so called debt and I will not allow this. these company 's should in no legal right be able to do this to people and the fact there is no government ordinance to watch over this stuff is beyond unsettling.

You didnt address the violation of 15 usc 1692f unfair practices. Im extremely frustrated with the lack of investigation in this matter.Please look into this matter again
