When I would make a payment they would send me letters saying I was behind on my car loan threaten to take my car several times hardly ever did they post a payment when I would make a payment making it look like I was always behind.. Ended up trading it off just to get out from them and they refused to send the carl lot the title.

Consumer Complaint: Credit acceptance corp has sent me a summons and also bankruptcy attorneys have sent advertisements but to my boyfriends parents house, somewhere I have never lived, and this is someone I dont have contact with. I dont owe these people money but after going to court connect I see a lawsuit for me, they have the wrong addresses, I have never lived at XXXX XXXX XXXX I have never even used that address for anything. They have never sent me anything personally, this was a loan taken out by my ex husband in XXXX and that was XXXX XXXX XXXX which is beyond the statute of limitations, as far as I know, no payments or even communication have been made with this company, sending my personal information to people I am not even related to is beyond a breach.

Consumer Complaint: Just got the vehicle and was on the verge of getting insured and everything then I got t-boned by another driver and the car was totaled. It was difficult to get it insured and fixed being that I just started my job at the time. Which was in XXXX of XXXX. It was a XXXXXXXX XXXXr and the payment was about XXXX a month. They still put the repo on my credit and now it's preventing me from getting a house. When the pandemic started that made it that much more difficult to try and pay the car off even tho I wasn't driving it anymore.
