Consumer Complaint: Credit acceptance reposed my vehicle when it was totaled ( wrecked ). They picked my car up from the garage where I was trying to get the car fixed. They did not give me an opportunity to wait for my insurance claim even though they did not give me anything towards my car. Now credit acceptance is charging me interest every month on a car I do not have that was totaled but they sold it per Agent I spoke to recently for {$3000.00}. However they have sent me a bill for {$5000.00} to pay them for the car. They are reporting XXXX on my credit report every month and charging interest. The car was only XXXX I believe when I purchased in XXXX. They have rude agents who do not try to give u the information when asked. I wish I never dealt with this loan shark of an auto dealership.I know they will try to Sue because I know many people who they have came after in the long run.

Consumer Complaint: Greeting, I was illegally swindled into a sub-prime loan situation by a predatorial organization that utilized a used car dealership inorder to drain people bank accounts by raising the rates and percentages on previous signed contracts and agreements without my consent as the buyer and consumer. Once I found out I returned the vehicle to local destination for recovery whom was an affiliate of the seller that processed the illegal repossession for Credit Acceptance Corporation. I drove the vehicle there myself in order to squash this illegal encounter without getting a refund yet the record was supposed to been cleared long ago! Please be advised that Credit Acceptance Corporation was a criminal organization that even got caught trying to steal the vehicle after my initial purchase the XXXX as I was making monthly payments on time. This atrocious behavior by said companies has caused so much grief in my life over the past 7 years Credit Acceptance Corporation should be paying me for all punitive damages and the illegal loan interest rates plus hidden fees. For what I understand today is that the Justice Department is working on bringing that illegal operation and monstrous activities to an abrupt halt. After I submit this proof I request that my credit report be cleared as I was told that this issue was removed already long ago. Please update my credit report by removing this fictitious accusation against my name at this time. I never gotten a bill from them. what's even worse the car got totaled out. they didn't repo the car they just had it at a body repair shop. I never gotten any correspondence nor do I know what happened to the car. I want my name and record deleted from this loan. Like I said I tried myself numerous times with no end result

This is violating me as a consumer I have complained several times I am suppose to be provided proof of what was done to the repossessed vehicle, I am suppose to be shown how {$3000.00} have been added to my deficiency balance. This company was Sued in another state for the same behaviors. This loan was not honorable the vehicle was no good after driven from the lot I was forced in this car by the dealership, its not the first of the lending hearing of this I was not allowed to use my warranty when car broke down a week later. The company needs to pull all calls made to lender I was told nothing could be done. The car wasnt worth sell which is why it was dismantled. Ive attached the most recent lawsuit in which I am a victim of this company as well.

Consumer Complaint: I cosigned on a used car from XXXX with my dtr XX/XX/XXXX Credit Acceptance was or is the loan finance company .The car was a lemon and the payments were extremely high when my dtr lost her job because she was diagnosed with XXXX We could not afford the car payments I was on XXXX XXXX Credit Acceptance knew I could not make the payments on a fixed income We made several attempts with them to fix the vehicle but they never did it still malfunctioned like a bad transmission or engine .We asked them for another vehicle or take the car back .they would not do it.the car sat for 3 years and they did not close the account until 3 years later XXXX .They repossessed the vehicle and are now garnishing my pay .Credit Acceptance was investigated for Predatory lending in New York and Michigan.They are also shareholders with XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX company who money launder and double dip with Insurance fraud and Title insurance fraud they sell the vehicles back to shareholders with the Company using fake company namesand addresses of companies that don't exist a bunch of crooked lawyers are the shareholders
