I spoke with XXXX from Credit acceptance she stated I still owe {$12000.00} even after they sold the vehicle for {$2500.00}. Consumer Complaint: Credit acceptance car loan company has reported my payment history incorrectly for over 2 years now. I have never missed a payment, my understanding was to have a one-time payment flipped over to the back of the loan that would have helped me from falling behind during COVID. That is not the case they have reported to all three credit bureaus saying that my payment history is XXXX payments missed with credit report reflecting XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX plus days late they have completely destroyed my credit due to this false reporting of my payment history. They have not come to a resolution over these facts and continue to report the loan incorrectly also was in still not even a payment behind and with no contact no forewarning came and repossessed the vehicle where we had to come out of pocket almost {$900.00} to get it out that very same day. I have all the documentation showing this. I need this erased completely off of my credit report to be able to even continue with my life and any sort of positive fashion whatsoever.

Consumer Complaint: I am writing to file a complaint against Credit Acceptance Corporation for continuing to pursue a debt that I have already been released from. On XX/XX/2019, I received a garnishment release letter from your company, which stated that I was released from any liability for the debt in question. Despite this letter, your company has continued to report inaccuracies on my credit report, contacted me regarding the debt, and has even threatened legal action if I do not pay it. This is unacceptable and goes against the terms of the garnishment release letter. I demand that Credit Acceptance Corporation immediately cease all attempts to collect this debt from me, as I have been released from any liability. Furthermore, I expect an apology for the stress and anxiety that your continued attempts to collect this debt have caused me. If I receive any further communication regarding this matter, or if there is any negative impact on my credit score as a result of your actions, I will take appropriate legal action against your company.
